Kabosu is the sister store for yuzu sushi across the street & as I mention in yuzu sushi review. Both has the total quality food and they are as close as it can get in a Michelin star sushi places with a fraction of the price. Keep up the good work , please work on improving the service and ambiance , we are 10 years client and will keep going

Kabosu is great, not my favorite because of the inconsistency, but still a great option to choose if you're on the hunt for sushi. They are inconsistent with their fish quality, the amount of ingredients they put, and service. The service is sometimes great and friendly, sometimes rude; their fish is sometimes great, sometimes mediocre and not fresh; they sometimes drown their rolls in sauce and don't put any crispy onions, sometimes there is a normal amount of sauce and a lot of crispy onions. With that said, it's still a solid sushi spot. I know some people who say this is their favorite, but i think they just haven't tried better places like I have. Their seabass handroll is the of the worst handrolls I've ever had anywhere (I've tried it twice), stay away from it! I absolutely do love their:- yuzu roll- lemon roll- mini spicy tuna crispy rice- albacore sashimi with crispy onion- salmon sashimi with truffle ponzu- fruit crème brûlée Their wait has gotten much better, I came at 6:30 on a Friday night and waited only 10 minutes for a table of two.

While in the area I went there for lunch. However, they were about to close for lunch so I ordered the chicken bento box to go. The food was filled with flavor and the chicken was very tender. I enjoyed my meal. The service was great and the place is very trendy with cute artifacts and furniture. It was very clean inside. Humongous menu with so many variations of sushi to choose from. Parking is on the street or in the rear of the restaurant in the alley. I will return to try the dinner. The bento box is a bit pricey but the quality of ingredients makes it worth the price.Note: The restaurant is small inside but they have indoor and outdoor seating. Hours for lunch are 11:30am to 2:30pm and then they open for dinner at 5:30pm to 10:00pm.

It was okay. First time here and it was delicious but I'm so spoiled with Seaweed in Glendale that my level of expectations still hasn't surpass that. However, it definitely was good, we ordered different rolls, and everything was small. Service was outstanding in such a small space there were multiple waitresses serving tables. It's indoors and outdoors, however it's extremely small spot. It was freezing so we sat inside.

Just had to add this delicious soft shell crab roll to my already long list of delicious things at Kabosu. The oyster shooter is the best I've ever had and I've been many places. They just know how to do it.

This place has grown a lot in popularity over the years and has stayed pretty consistent overall. The lime and spicy popper roll were pretty good, I usually get the lemon, yuzu, and/or Chilean sea bass rolls. The salmon toast used to be my favorite but I was a bit disappointed last night- it is so much smaller and much more expensive, and just not as good as I remembered it being. Although they were busy, our server was as attentive as he could be and was really funny. It's so loud inside, I actually preferred to sit outside with the heat lamp on.
