Came here with some friends visiting from out of town. I got the dalgani tang, which was the beef knee meat, while most of my friends got Galbitang and sulangtang. Soup was rich, clean, and very beefy. Very delicious! My favorite thing however was their kimchi radish banchan. Crunchy, refreshing, and a little bit sweet. It was the best, and I appreciated how they kept on making sure we had plenty of refills.Overall, if you have the craving to get some good Korean soup, I'd definitely recommend!

This is my fav place for SullungTang. I adore this place so much. Things here are pretty simple. The ban chan is simple as well. They give you radish and big kimchi. You may ask for refills. If you're looking for something more then this place is not for you.My go to order is the JunTong SullungTang. You can choose purple or white rice. I always go with the purple rice. They give you free water or free hot tea. The people here are nice. Pls don't feel ignored. They may get busy and may not be able to drop by. However, once you ask for something, they will make sure you get it. It is a small restaurant so seating may be tight. You might need to share certain things with the table next to you...like the salt. They will give you a whole jar/bowl of green onions. Eat as much as you like lolParking availRR availPrice is not bad...

Really sweet, hard working staff, excellent, flavorful Hae Jang Guk, and very solid sullung tang. Nice hole in the wall. No frills. Just good Korean soups. Definitely would recommend. This is the kind of place that deserves your business.

The sullang tang restaurant is very mom and pip shop which is so good. You know its a good place to eat when a grandma is cooking in the back. We got the #1 and #10. Great choice! The soups are well put together, it was refreshing and clean to eat. The radish and kimchi is such a great touch to it as an appetizers. I would definitely come back for their other dishes. The service is so good! The ladies here are so welcoming and sweet.

Jungtong is a gem for Seolleongtang enthusiasts, offering both the traditional brisket-only Seolleongtang and the more adventurous mixed version. The traditional Seolleongtang (전통 설렁탕) is a true testament to the beauty of simplicity. The milky, velvety broth, achieved through hours of simmering beef bones, is delicately flavored and perfectly balanced. The slices of brisket are tender, succulent, and pair harmoniously with the richness of the soup. It's a comforting bowl that highlights the essence of Seolleongtang, allowing the broth and brisket to shine on their own.For those looking to explore more complex flavors, the mixed Seolleongtang (섞어 설렁탕) is an absolute must-try. This version takes the experience to another level, featuring a medley of brisket, intestine, tripe, and other cuts that add a depth of flavor and a variety of textures to the broth. Each spoonful offers something different, with the chewy tripe and the tender brisket providing an exciting contrast. The intestines add a touch of richness that enhances the broth's umami, making it a hearty and satisfying option for those craving a more robust dish.Adding to the experience is Jungtong's radish kimchi, which deserves a mention of its own. Crisp and refreshing, it's the perfect side to cut through the richness of the soup. The kimchi's slight tanginess and crunch bring a delightful contrast, elevating the meal as a whole. Whether you're in the mood for a traditional, straightforward Seolleongtang or something more intricate and daring, Jungtong's offerings won't disappoint.

Homey spot for authentic Korean oxbone soup. It's located in a plaza with free parking (a plus in KTown) and the workers were all sweet Korean ladies. Came in a group of three and we all got the number one. Note that the difference between one and two is that two includes intestines, whereas one is strictly the meat. The soup comes out piping hot with noodles and meat, and then you can add as much salt, pepper, and green onions you'd like. They give you two banchan - the kimchi was really high quality and tasty. The broth was very rich and you can tell that it's been simmering for a while. Credit cards are accepted. Indoor dining only.

My favorite Korean Sullung Tang soup (ox bone soup) place.Easy parking, friendly people, cozy vibe, and the best of all - quality soup and meat!I have crazy obsession over beef tendon (I always order extra tendon when I go to Vietnamese pho places) and they have menu just for tendon that I order to go to satisfy my needs. Low fat, tons of collagen, and tasty soft and chewy distinctive texture that I can't get enough of.

This is a great spot for homey comfort food. They're primarily known for their sulungtang but have a handful of other soup/meat options as well. We got the juntong sulungtang and galbi tang. FYI you have the option of either white or purple rice. Both came out piping hot with lots of meat and noodles. The galbi tang also came with a dipping sauce that actually went well with meats for both soups. They only have cabbage and radish kimchi as banchan but it's all you need. Really satisfied with our meal here and have added it to our list of sulungtang spots in Ktown!
