We had a wonderful dining experience at Juniper on Thanksgiving. The menu was outstanding. Offering delicious chef selections crafted for an exemplary Thanksgiving Dinner! The ambiance was excellent! Quite, outdoor dining covered with stunning umbrellas accented with beautiful garden lightening. The area was filled with stunning greenery as well. and yes, you can smell the juniper! A must try experience. The restaurant is part of the beautiful 1 Hotel in West Hollywood. We were served by a waiter named Sam. I do not know where to begin. Excellent service. Very attentive to our table. Professional. Great hire in a waiter Juniper! A job well done!

If you are looking for a spot with stunning LA views- lights and action- and a picture-perfect ambiance, Juniper at the 1 Hotel is a choice! option. The setting feels like a garden fit for princess Jasmine of Agraba fame. The garden is complete with fire pits, lush greenery, and an atmosphere that can only be described as fit for fire light bugs. However, if you prefer a meal uninterrupted by the relentless pursuit of Instagram-worthy shots, this may not be your ideal destination. My friend, a devoted "picture taker for the 'gram," ensured that every bite was cold by the time we got to enjoy it, and let me tell you--this behavior does test one's patience. Nevertheless, I still value his company, even if the phone habit is something I might not tolerate forever. If I had wish, from a Genie, I think I would ask for people to know when a picture can be taken and a picture cannot. imagine how good our world would be if everyone had that gift. Upon arriving, we were seated effortlessly, which made the subsequent long waits for our food feel all the more surprising. It was not a busy evening, yet it felt like waiting for the first snow in March: hopeful but endlessly delayed. Sitting outside by the fire pit, we sipped on an "LA Girl," a drink--not the quintessential LA girl with sunglasses, pumps, and a bubbly personality that is reserved for other Angelenos like her. The breeze was magical. At one point, hitting in just the right way to evoke a deep sense of eternal comfort in the snap of the wind. It iss a feeling that no photo could capture, though I did think about painting the moment with the colors of the breeze. That said, the outdoor setting, while lovely, didn't exactly exude Thanksgiving vibes. It made me feel like I was in a fairy tale garden--- and fairly tales have dinners but not to honor Thanksgiving. The food, when it finally arrived, was solid. I ordered a bone marrow burger with a side of hot, crispy potatoes and some Middle Eastern dips--a strong showing. We also tried spiced nuts, hummus, flatbread with pepitas, and bacon-wrapped dates. Everything was good, but none of it screamed "Thanksgiving dinner." While the flavors delivered, the heat of the fire pit eventually wore thin, and we asked to move to the main dining room.Inside, the vibe was like a glamping experience--imagine a luxury jungle expedition with netting and tent decor. It's unique, to say the least, and felt like a backdrop for a National Geographic feature for an undiscovered gorilla tribe. The desserts--a sampling of cookies, pistachio chocolates, and other goodies--were delightful. However, the wait for coffee and dessert tested our patience to the point of frustration, requiring multiple reminders to the staff. Like you are not busy, why you are taking long? A true mystery if there ever was one. One moment that stood out was a neighboring diner: a woman in an oversized grandpa sweater, dining with her dog. Just the two of them. They exuded quiet grace, a living portrait of cozy independence and serenity. That single scene felt like a Time magazine cover just for me to behold. I wonder if she carries herself with intentional grace or was she raised to exude this grace? I wonder if charm school teaches kids to beam with grace, just like that. Final verdict: Juniper is a fantastic choice if you want drinks, stunning photos, or a memorable atmosphere. However, if you're looking for a seamless dining experience, especially on a special occasion like Thanksgiving, the long waits and service hiccups may leave you feeling less than grateful. For me, it's a "come for the vibe, stay for the photos--but maybe eat elsewhere" kind of place. And boom that is the fortune cookie thought that you need to carry where-ever you go!

Ambiance: Hotel + BarThe atmosphere definitely calls for a dressy, upscale vibe, making it a spot for those looking to elevate their night out. Service: Below AverageWhile the management team was helpful and responsive, the overall service left much to be desired. The staff wasn't particularly welcoming, which is surprising for a hospitality venue. The bar staff, in particular, tried to close an hour early, redirecting guests to the indoor bar. On top of that, they had a habit of prematurely clearing full drinks from the table, even when placed right next to guests. Thankfully, management stepped in to fix the situation and replaced our orders, which was appreciated.Food: GoodThe hummus was smooth and flavorful--definitely worth ordering more pita for! Unfortunately, the artichokes were disappointing, overly oily and lacking the crispness they should've had.Drinks: Just OkayThe drinks were fine but nothing special, leaving room for improvement in both taste and presentation.Parking: Street/ValetValet parking can be quite expensive, with rates ranging from $30 to $70, depending on how long you stay. I'd recommend arriving early to snag street parking if possible, as it's a more cost-effective option.

Juniper Lounge and Garden is a hidden gem in West Hollywood. We sat inside and it was perfect--cozy and relaxed. Great spot to hang out, enjoy some really good food, and just talk for hours. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the cocktails made with ingredients from their organic garden were amazing. The vibe is chill, and there's live music to keep things fun. Just a heads-up: valet parking is underground! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

This place was such a vibe I love the ambiance the drinks were perfectly balanced, I had a passion fruit martini, it had real passion fruit pulp I was pleasantly surprised with, it's one of my favorite secret date night spots that's not too crowded and you're able to comfortably stay/lounge around without feeling rushed out the door

Gorgeous bar! I'd rate this place high for the interior and exterior alone. This bar is located inside the 1 Hotel West Hollywood is surrounded by a pretty outside area that is nice and garden like and an interior that is cozy. The place is also kept clean, especially the bathrooms which is nice. This is a great place to chill/get work done since there's ample comfortable seating areas, outlets, and WiFi.I came in the afternoon, so only the afternoon menu was available, but they have some decent options. I got the Passionfruit Martini Mocktail and it was decent, very healthy tasting. Would've tasted better with alcohol which was an option. The service was also good, the bar tender came straight to where we were seated and took our order and consistently checked up on us.

If you're looking for a cozy and relaxing place to dine well this is the place you need to check out. The restaurant is surrounded by lush greenery and warmth of candles that adds delight to your good mood. When you cut the beef it is cooked to perfection melts in your mouth with the mashed potatoes and broccolini complement the dish. The burrata is so fresh not salty at all which I enjoy. Caramel flan is so creamy and sweet nice dessert to complete your evening. Service staff is attentive and friendly.

Looking for a nice lounge while on the Blvd? Look no further! This Lounge has literally everything you could want. They have outside and inside areas, a DJ, awesome bartenders (shout out to Phoebe) and the ambience is amazing. It is part of the 1 hotel and very chic! They do have service, but you can find parking if you are willing to walk just a bit.

Juniper is located at the luxurious 1 hotel, very beautiful intimate setting, where you can lounge peacefully. I believe they do have live music, unsure about when that happens, I just saw the stage set up. The menu has a good amount of items available for purchase, they had a couple of eye catching appetizers on the menu. I ended up ordering their hummus and the cheeseboard. The hummus was delicious, and had a little bit of a spice just how I like it! The cheeseboard is a classic if you just want to lounge and catch up with whomever you're with. I will say it is a bit pricey, but definitely good quality food. My friend ordered their burger, and it was a pretty sizable portion. You could tell the meat was good quality!
