Finally got to try Juliet and it was great! The space is beautiful, with a stylish interior and plenty of outdoor seating. We started with the oysters, which were incredibly fresh and light--such a perfect way to kick off the meal. But the real standout? The trout roe--absolute perfection. We also tried the risotto and chicken, both of which were rich, flavorful, and beautifully executed. If you're in Culver City, Juliet is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!

The dining experience at this restaurant was nothing short of fantastic. We started with the Tartare et Caviar, a dish so artfully presented it the flavors! The freshness of the tartare paired perfectly with the briny pop of caviar. Next came the Cigares de Confit de Canard, crispy, savory, and duck-in-your-mouth, transporting us straight to culinary heaven. The Risotto aux Champignons was velvety, rich, and full of deep, earthy mushroom flavors an absolute standout. And then, the Steak Au Poivre. Grilled to perfection, with a juicy center and a peppercorn sauce that was nothing short of divine. The ambiance matched the quality of the food, modern, chic, and with impeccable service. Every dish arrived as a work of art, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Even the desserts were flawless, rounding out what should have been an absolutely perfect evening. But, and this is a big "but," I must mention the mosquitoes. Yes, mosquitoes! It's beyond me how a restaurant of this caliber could have such an issue. I left with several bites, which was quite a damper on an otherwise flawless experience. Hopefully, they address this small, yet significant, oversight soon. Other than that, everything was perfect, making this a place I'd eagerly return to--mosquitoes notwithstanding.

Cute restaurant with warm ambiance by the Platform in Culver City! Indoor and outdoor seating available. The Mousse au Foie de Volaille (chicken liver tartlet) is sooooo delicious. It's unfortunate it's so small so that we have less to enjoy. It melts in your mouth and it's unique. I enjoyed the Salade d'Endives, Salade Classique, and Tarama, but the chicken liver tartlet outshines the all. For entree, I got the Daurade Royale (wild sea bream) which was a decent serving size, but not as much flavor as I expected. Once I mixed the fish with everything on the plate, the dish tasted better, but I would probably try another dish next time! I'll be back!Friendly and patient service!

You don't need a special occasion for Juliet, as any meal makes your meal feel festive. Beautifully executed food--we loved most everything we ordered: steak, mushroom risotto, endive salad (the duck cigars were just okay). However, the service felt flat. We were there for a birthday, which we noted on the reservation. Then the hostess asked specifically if it was a special occasion. I assumed after several hundred dollars worth of dinner, they might bring a small token dessert. Nope. We asked the waitress, "Do you have a good birthday dessert?" To which she replied, "Well, just order something and we'll put a candle in it." Gee, thanks. In addition, they sell several champagnes by the ounce. A great idea, right? But when we asked to taste them before we ordered a glass, they said curtly, "No, you'll have to pay for an ounce." Great food. Questionable approach to service.

Hubby & I dined here for dinner tonight to celebrate his birthday. It was our first time here & since we both like French food & like trying to new places, we thought why not give this place a try. Our reservations were at 6pm & we were surprised that it was pretty empty for a Saturday evening but their modern ambiance & the dim lighting was inviting. The restaurant got busier as we were leaving at 8. Service was excellent & our server was knowledgeable about the food & wine pairing. We ordered the Endive salad & Bluefin tuna carpaccio to start with & Wild Sea bream & Duck confit cigars to share as a main course. As for Vino, we were recommended Italian red which paired well with our food. We enjoyed every bite of our food. The simple salad was packed with flavor minus the blue cheese & the carpaccio tasted so light! Sea bream was perfectly cooked with a side of ratatouille & the duck confit was crispy & dipping it into the sauce made it taste that much better. The blessing part of the evening was our server gave us complimentary glass of champagne to end the night. I would like to come back to try their other dishes in the future.

While we enjoyed our meal here, the price simply did not reflect on the quality of the food and service offered. From an ambiance perspective, the restaurant is beautiful but unbelievably tight. The waitress apologized for the style of the shotgun restaurant, but in reality this tightness is due to owners trying to pack as many tables into this "shotgun" restaurant as possible. For food we ordered the sourdough, daily oysters, bok choy, and scallops. The sourdough was delicious but nothing special or different. The daily oysters also met the mark. However the bok choy and scallops were quite confusing for us. Considering the scallops cost $40 for four small portions and no sides, I was disappointed to find that they were gritty and not cleaned properly. In contrast, the bok choy had way too big of portions compared to the scallops, and while the black sauce was delicious, this was only strong enough to flavor the delicate leaves at the top. The best thing we had all night was the passion fruit cheesecake which was a hit with the table and truly saved the meal. Overall, while we enjoyed the food, the price simply does not reflect the taste and experience. I am someone who will gladly spend an entire paycheck on a meal if I walk away feeling euphoric and satisfied. I would recommend coming here for drinks but not a full sit down dinner.

Came here on a Tuesday for a girls dinner. When I made the reservation, the GM reached out to me to ask if we needed any accommodations or if it was a special occasion which was so nice! Walking in, the interior is SO CUTE. It's one of the reasons I wanted to come here - I've driven by a couple times and always wanted to go in. Our servers were also great and super attentive. We started with a bottle of Chardonnay, the chicken liver tartlet, oysters with trout roe, and duck confit "cigars". The tartlet was delicious - crust was super light and crunchy and I loved the pairing with the apple in it. Also can't go wrong with some oysters. The trout roe added a punch of extra flavor. Duck confit cigars were like very elevated eggrolls - very tasty and satisfying to eat.For our main, we had the lamb rib chops (forgot to take picture), which were also delicious. Cooked very well and the chickpea purée with olives added creaminess and saltiness to the dish.We ended dinner with an old fashioned each, madeleines, and eclairs. Both desserts were great, but I would recommend the madeleines. The brown butter really makes a difference!I would recommend this restaurant for a date night or girls night! Nice for pictures and the food is delicious. I'll be back to try the other menu items!
