Jook Hyang is a Koreatown gem. Went here with some friends for an early dinner this week and it didn't disappoint.Located in the heart of Koreatown, Jook Hyang has its own parking lot with ample spots, interior is clean and even has a lil robot that brings you your banchan. The staff was so kind and attentive. The food was exceptional...my friend speaks Korean so she ordered some dishes I've never had before and was so glad I got to try! Highlight eats the boiled stuffed chicken soup ...so comforting, great flavor and you are able to adjust the salt content on your own. The banchan was refilled as much as we liked and there were so many choices!I'll definitely be back to try more traditional dishes soon.

A hidden restaurant for authentic and healthy Korean food! The food I had here was great. I got the Mool Naengmyun and it was solid! Flavorful, icy broth that complimented well with the vinegar and mustard, fresh veggies with a nice crunch, and great bits of protein in the egg and a slice of brisket. The noodles were also nice and chewy and didn't stick to each other. The best part for me though was the banchan. There was a great variety and I loved the quality of them such as the kimchi, potatoes, and fish cakes. The food is on the pricier side though, but for the higher quality it makes sense. The service was also great, the severs were friendly to my friend and I. There's also a private parking lot behind which is nice.

Jook Hyang is located in the New Seoul Hotel on Olympic. There is parking located in the back of the building. I had heard some good things about Jook Hyang and so we decided to try it on a weekday for lunch. The inside is nice and bright, and there were lot more people than I expected. It seemed like a mix of people staying at the hotel and people just there for the restaurant. The customers were almost all Korean, on the older side, but I had no problems ordering even though my Korean is not so good--the menu has English translations and all the servers seemed decent enough at English. The galbi dosirak came with 3 pieces of galbi and an assortment of banchan, rice, fish, salad, fruit, etc and a soon tofu. The galbi was on the sweeter side and the soon tofu was ok, but I think it's a good deal for the amount of food that comes out. We also ordered the galbi jjim with kimchi and it was pretty good...definitely preferred it over the galbi that came with the dosirak. The service was prompt and attentive throughout the meal, and the food came out pretty quick. Overall, Jook Hyang seems like a decent option for a quick lunch. The prices are pretty reasonable and the restaurant is really nice inside. I didn't have a chance this time to try the jook (porridge) this time, but I'm sure I'll eventually be back.

I came here for lunch and ordered a Dolsot Bibimbap with Bulgogi. I also redeemed a cinnamon punch from checking in. My order came in 12 minutes and was sizzling hot. It came with side dishes (banchan) such as broccoli, fish cake, zucchini/squash, pickled greens, seaweed, and kimchi. They were goodThe bibimbap had a lot of vegetables, especially bean sprouts and chives. It also had strips of egg and small pieces of meat. I do feel like the portion size is a bit small. I find it interesting how the rice doesn't stick to the clay pot and how the food actually gets hotter over time because of how hot the clay pot is. The cinnamon punch was like a tea. It reminded me a lot of horchata. This restaurant also has one of those robot waiters that have been popping up around recently. I enjoyed my lunch and think that this is a great option especially for those who are in the attached hotel and are too lazy to drive out.

We were staying at the new soul hotel and looking for a place to eat. A friend of ours recommended another spot, which we opted against due to the poor health rating. This place was close by and had good reviews so we decided to give it a try. Glad we did! Service was very friendly, interior was simple yet functional, the food was yummy and they had a robotic waiter. We enjoyed our experience and can see coming back.

I absolutely loved their chicken soup/porridge. It is so simple yet so comforting and delicious. The chicken soup comes with rice in it and the rice was a nice sticky texture. I still dream about the chicken soup from here. The spicy pollack fish stew was good and only slightly spicy, but would probably not order again only because I prefer soups with simple flavors. The banchan/side dishes were also so good and tasted freshly made. Left here feeling light even though the portions were big. Very friendly service and the interior felt traditional yet well maintained. Super spacious inside. Definitely a place I'd come back to and parking is free.

this is a good spot if you want healthy and authentic korean food. their banchan is veg heavy. you can tell they care about their ingredients.the menu has a range of authentic dishes. i ordered the kong guksu with acorn noodle which is a cold soybean noodle. it's not for everyone because the flavor is subtle. i looove it. they use a robot to transport banchan trays to the table, and then a server moves them from the robot to the table. the space clean and has good air conditioning. it's on my go to list for ktown.

Known for their delicious and healthy meals, I was excited to come here. It really is as good as people say! Food was flavorful, comforting, and best of all nutritious. Many of the customers looked like regulars and they were also older Koreans, which usually means the food is gonna be good. The variety of banchan was great and all tasted amazing. I ordered the dolsot bibimbap which had lots of fresh veggies, served in a sizzling pot. The restaurant is clean and the parking is easy and spacious.
