Jong Won Paik's Noodle House

One of my favorite places to grab some black bean noodles on the go or come here with friends and enjoy them highly recommend getting it

I LOVE black beans noodles, and this is the one place that I go get them. I always take my friends here to try them, and yesterday I took one of them to try it for the first time. They loved it and again, so did I. The cashier was so nice, they always are so welcoming and kind when I go. I love the environment and the tables are always so spacious to eat on. I definitely need to try the rest of their menu! :D

Service was good, food was very average and parking just sucks (it is, after all - LA). Jjampong was mediocre. It just did not have a very jjampongy flavor that I'm used to eating. The Jajangmyeon was actually better, but nothing to write home about.I had high hopes since I grew up eating both of these dishes in Korea so it was a huge disappointment.

When I went here last week, we had such great service and ordered the popular noodle bowl. Something about those noodles, got me! Got me good! In the best way! Thank you again and keep up the great work guys!

What great portion sizes! We were able to buy three dishes between three people and share them all without even being able to finish it because we were so full. Definitely a busy spot hidden in a plaza so not much parking or tables available during the day, but so worth the trip.

Tasty Ktown eatery, big portions, good prices. I had the bokkeyomyun, which was like a savory seafood noodle dish that included shrimp and some kind of octopus

Noodles are chewy and sauce is rich and tasty. Has diced onions and bits of pork. Jjampong had a surprising amount of mussels, Onions, wood ear mushrooms, sliced zucchini. Spicy, peppery, and hot while being comforting :)As of 4/4/2021 for Covid, you order at the window and they call your number when your food is ready. Out-door seating (4-5 tables) is available for customers. Speaks English and Korean.They charge an extra $0.50 for take-out. Portions could have more noodles.Overall: Not super outstanding but good pricepoint and satisfying if you're craving chewing noodles!

Good cha-jang-myun and tang-soo-yuk. Lots of flavor and good size portion. Lots of tables and space. Friendly service.

Not crowded and we were seated quickly. We ordered the coconut shrimp, garlic soy sauce wings, potstickers, and rice. Was not a fan of the gooey, overly sticky shrimp that had pine nuts however, the chicken and potstickers were good.Not a large crowd at all, probably because of the busy and very popular Sun Nong Dan.Overall good spot for a quick bite on the go.
