A welcome addition to the neighborhood. This place is a great go to spot for nice Italian food punched up a few notches above your usual mom and pop shop. Our server Travis took great care of us. Appreciated his honesty in steering us in the right direction. The calamari is very special here. I was reluctant at first but this is not your typical calamari! Definitely give it a try. The whole menu is great. On question mark I had was when my dirty martini came out as nearly a slushie it had so much ice in it. That was a miss but appreciated that Travis was willing to replace it with a great glass of wine. Truly appreciated gesture.Ambiance is great with the typical Jon & Vinny's clean wood look. The whole staff was super friendly and attentive. I'd be happy to come back here anytime!

We've been here a few times already, and I always forget to take a picture of the pasta and pizza because it's so good when we see it we just dig in! We love the studio city location because it's easier to get a reservation in the area is not as congested. I highly recommend a reservation prior to arrival. Otherwise you're expected to wait an hour or two. If you're in the valley, you should try it.

Such a disappointment. Friends in Hollywood told me that since Jon & Vinny's has become a chain, it's gone way down hill. Now I know what they mean; the food in Studio City was extremely subpar. The pizzas were only okay--we got two and one was extremely overcooked with the crust very dark and crunchy. The meatballs were only fine; we've had better. The lemon pasta that the waiter hyped up tasted like spaghetti vongole without the vongole. The bolognese pasta was the best dish we ordered, but it only had about 10 pieces of rigatoni, which meant that my son was left with a plate of sauce and was still hungry--so we had to pay for an order of bread. I knew the seats would be hard, since that's the aesthetic. But the layout of the restaurant was weird and the atmosphere just felt like nothing special. We got our entrees before I got my wine. We have so many close by options for excellent pasta and pizza in our area now, I would not go back to Jon & Vinny's

If you are visiting LA for the first time, Jon & Vinny's is one of those basic, but delicious must-try spots. I have been to their Fairfax location, but am so glad they expanded to Studio City. I made reservations for 2pm on a Sunday afternoon and to my surprise, the restaurant was fairly busy. They offer valet parking, however I lucked out and found a spot on one of the side streets. The restaurant is cute and casual, and has a bubbly atmosphere. My friend and I were seated almost immediately upon checking in. Our waiter Darren was very friendly and welcoming. We decided to share a pasta and pizza, and it was plenty between the two of us. Everything on their menu sounds delicious, but we ended up settling on the pesto pasta and white lightning pizza. Our food came out in about 15 minutes and the portions were perfect. While people do complain about the price to portion ratio, I thought it was fantastic. The white lightning pizza had mozzarella, ricotta, garlic, onion, oregano, and pickled jalapeno with the most delicious crust. Chewy and flavorful, every bite was perfection. The pesto pasta was also incredible. The radiatori pasta shape was super fun to eat and every crevice was covered in the fragrant pesto sauce. Well done Jon and Vinny! I will be a returning customer and can't wait to plan my next meal here.

Not sure why the Yelp reviews are low!! So surprising, but I understand with a new opening there's bound to be some hiccups and improvements as you go!! With that being said I went after they had been open for about 2 months! And I had ZERO complaints! I've been to all the Jon and Vinny locations this is one of my top locations! They did an excellent job with the pasta and pizza! I loved the service! Our server was so polite and fun, we were one of the last parties there and they did not rush us! They def deserve more credit!!!! I'm def coming back since I live so close I'm so happy this location turned out good! My top location favs are bev hills and studio city now!!! The pasta was super consistent and the flavor was good and cooked well! Same with my pizza and everything was hot and fresh!!! The decor was clean and simple like all locations and I can't wait to visit again!

I had a great time at the Jon & Vinny's in Studio City! Dare I say, an even BETTER time than the location on Fairfax? Let's start by saying the service here was above and beyond what I ever experienced at the other location. Hats off to the staff here for being so personable, professional and friendly. Come here if you are a fan of Italian with a modern twist. Jon & Vinny's here in the Valley is chic yet unpretentious. The crowd was very diverse, from younger folks hanging at the bar to families dining with small kids. Be sure to make a reservation! They have both indoor and outdoor seating. My friend and I ordered the meatballs, little gem caesar, and spicy fusilli. A perfect amount of food for two. Meatballs were fantastic. Loved the sauce, fresh ricotta and the bread that was crisped to perfection. I also enjoyed the little gem, as it was surprising to me that it had a little kick to it. Spicy fusilli was the perfect spice level and the sauce was just creamy enough to create the perfect balance. We had such a good time we stayed til closing and our server was kind enough to give us some cookies to take home. I will definitely be back! So long, Fairfax. Happy to have Jon & Vinny's here in the SFV.

I'm not going to lie, I am really confused by the yelp reviews for all the Jon & Vinny locations. I have now visited 4 of their location's and the only differences I notice are ambiance, food is consistent all around! I can't imagine the food being the issue here, I feel like it might be the standard of the restaurant not matching their prices. The interior and decor here are extremely basic and uncomfortable, I feel like I'm in a first grade class with the 'furniture'. It's very much a casual spot to quickly come and go.I will say I do really love their food! The LA woman is actually my favorite pizza in LA, I know it's not everyone's favorite style of pizza, but it's exactly what I love. My husband gets the Roman gladiator pizza because he is a meat lover. My husband does not eat salad, but he does love the gem lettuce salad. If you haven't tried their lemon pasta you are missing out, I crave it all the time and I even started making my own version at home to help with my cravings. The reviews for some reason are not so great, but reservations are difficult to get. I highly recommend making reservations if you are looking to visit this location, their wait times for walk ins are terrible. We did not have any issues with parking, we found street parking immediately. They have 3 really long booths for groups of 6-9 people which is great when you have a bigger party. They dim their lights really low around 7 and turn up their music, it's not my vibe, but be aware when making reservations.

Always had to trek far to get my Jon and Vinny's fix so beyond thrilled with the location in Studio City now finally here! First tip: definitely make a reservation the location is beyond cozy but also very popular (even if it just opened). Second tip: they have valet! While on a somewhat quiet street its not always easy to find parking so love that i can just roll in and drop off the car! My group started with a few appetizers, the ricotta, orange blossom honey, sesame seeds was light and flavorful and an instant hit at the table, the point judith fried calamari was fried to perfection but the starter star was the mozzarella sticks! Our kind waiter told us we must try it and it did not disappoint a perfect blend of both fried perfection and gooey delicious mozzarella! Next up: brooklyn dodger pizza a classic pie and sarah & shiri's super shroom - i am not a huge mushroom fan but both were fantastic and the shroom wasn't too overwhelming (i snagged several pieces of that one!!!) of course, you can't go to Jon and vinny's without getting some meatballs, so we had to have that as well! Ending the night by trying 3 desserts. I'll be honest at this point we were pretty full, but you always have room for dessert! All amazing my favorite had to have been the bread pudding!

I've dined at Jon & Vinny's in Hollywood so was thrilled to see that it was opening in the valley. We booked a reservation online in advance. Kind of an interesting layout, feels a tad cramped. There is a bar which the other location doesn't have which is a nice feature. I ordered the spicy fusili, tried and true pasta dish I love from the other location. I also got the little gem salad. The salad is simple but good. I think best for sharing, I ate the whole thing myself and it got a little boring after a while. Spicy fusili pasta was great as usual.

Heard that place finally open in Studio City near my work! So my husband and I checked it out before stop by my work on the way. Love their services and friendly! Their food were the bombs! Next time, will come back for pizza! Neat place with modern looks and easily full seated. Valet parking or street parking.
