Updating my OG posts with some more delicious plates. Came back to relive the bolognese. Still hands down one of my favorite pastas in LA. The chicken cutlet was perfectly crispy and thin. Super yummy. Yummy arugula to pair with it! Pizza was yummy per usual! We tried the house salad and it was a solid salad. Nice kick from the pepperoncinis. Service was amazing per usual, with awesome hip hop going in the background. Such great vibes. 10/10

Safe to say an LA staple. A go-to Italian American joint that plays some nice hip hop, rnb, and contemporary tunes during service. So popular that they have a separate delivery and to-go location adjacent. Reservations are fairly easy. Plenty of street parking around on Fairfax or the neighborhood streets. Can't go wrong with a gem lettuce and spicy fusilli. Heirloom tomatoes also go hard. Pastas are all solid. Share the food! For me, the simpler the pizza, the better for this joint. Parties of 2 are automatically taken to the chef's counter but you can ask to be seated at a table if avail. Good date spot!

Sooo delicious! Everything was fresh and shareable, and the service was great. Make a reservation to avoid the wait, since it gets packed pretty quick. Once you order, they even have crayons for you to color your placemat while you wait for your food.Gem Lettuce (calabrian chili dressing, parmesan, bread crumbs): such a great caesar salad, with the dressing and toppings evening coating each lettuce. A great appetizer to order before the main dishes.LA Woman (local burrata (served cold), tomato, basil, olive oil, sea salt): thin and light pizza that pairs well with the burrata!Spicy Fusilli (vodka, basil, parmesan): has a slight kick and every piece is coated with the sauce. Not too heavy and goes well with the other dishes.Parking: street parking

I came here to try the infamous spicy fusilli but it turned out to be pretty basic. There wasn't any depth of flavor or a spicy kick from the sauce but it was cooked perfectly al dente. Other than that, I don't really understand the hype behind it.We also ordered the white lightning pizza which comes with dollops of ricotta and pickled jalapeño. I loved the flavors of these two a lot but it had a pretty one-dimensional flavor otherwise since I didn't taste much garlic or oregano. It seemed more like a cheesy bread instead of pizza, if that makes sense. The service was attentive and we got to sit at the bar so we saw all the pizzas being made fresh. Speaking of which, the cheese on our pizza was very gooey and melty with a crispy crus since it was delivered within a minute of it being taken out of the oven.

The long-awaited visit was absolutely worth it! I tried their iconic spicy fusilli and Chaparitto pizza, and both lived up to the hype. One fun detail: they provide crayons and a restaurant-themed coloring sheet to pass the time while your food is being prepared--it was unexpectedly therapeutic and truly made my night. The pasta was exceptional in both quality and flavor. Tperfect al dente texture with an impressive bounce, and their unique shape held onto the sauce so well that every bite was packed with flavor. The pizza was a thin-crust delight, topped with savory chorizo and a light crema. I appreciated that the cheese wasn't too overpowering. My only critique was that the crust was more burnt than I'd prefer. Typically, the crust is my favorite part of a pizza, but this time, I had to leave it behind.Pro tip: Call ahead to guarantee a table! I visited on a busy Friday night, and the place was packed. Although I didn't have a reservation, the staff kindly managed to squeeze in our party of two with minimal wait time.

We came here on a Saturday night. It was super packed and very lively! The prosFood was amazing. Everything came out really fast. Everything was so flavorful and delicious! The consAll the delicious cookies were sold out by the end of the night! Wish they would have baked more for the weekend nightsSome items were very pricey, like the soft serve. It was very delicious but not $10 worth

My friend suggested we try Jon&Vinny's and I was excited! I'm always game for Italian! Right when we walked in the vibe was cozy and fun. The hostess was very sweet and I loved the intimate seating. We couldn't decide which appetizer to get and finally settled on the ricotta bruschetta - it was astounding. I was sad I had to share it. If there's Cacio y Pepe on the menu I always order it - I was not disappointed!I was disappointed that I was too full for dessert - but their selection looked yummy! I can't wait to go back to LA and eat here again!

Jon and Vinny's is the spot to go!! I've always heard about this place through social media but this was my first time coming and it is worth the hype. I came here for late lunch on a saturday and I was worried about the wait time but we were able to get seated right away. My friend and I split three dishes, the gem lettuce, little nats pizza, and spicy fusilli pasta. All three dishes were delicious and so tasty. The food came out rather quickly and the service was amazing. I will say that the portion of the spicy fusilli pasta was smaller than expected but we ordered enough food to fill us up. The inside is on the smaller side and I would recommend making a reservation if you're planning on coming during a busy time.

I had dinner at Jon and Vinny's last night, and it definitely lived up to the hype! It's a little loud inside so a bit difficult to have conversations in a big group, but the ambiance has a nice energy. We ordered a couple of pizzas, and while they were all solid, the mushroom pizza stole the show. The crust was perfectly crispy--thin but sturdy enough to hold all those delicious toppings. We also tried a pasta dish, which was equally impressive. The pasta was cooked to perfection. You can tell they're serious about the ingredients here. Everything tasted very fresh.Definitely can't wait to go back and explore more of the menu!

What a time we had! We made an 8:00 reservation via Resy, and from the moment we walked in, the vibe was perfect, great rap music, warm lighting, and an inviting atmosphere. The food? Phenomenal. The spicy fusilli vodka pasta had the perfect texture, and the sauce was to die for, easily one of the best I've ever had. The Little Nat's pizza was fresh, crispy, and the perfect shareable pie. We started with the market lettuces with balsamic vinaigrette, which was light, refreshing, and balanced everything out beautifully.Of course, we had to try a wine flight, and our server was super knowledgeable, making the whole experience even better.Jon & Vinny's absolutely lives up to the hype. Can't wait to come back on Valentine's Day!
