My friend took me here to have dwaeji gukbap for the first time and I am in loveeee. We got here around 2pm straight from the airport to have a late lunch. The dining space was spacious, clean, and bright and we even had space to store our luggage while we ate. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, they were able to accommodate making the bibimbap vegetarian so my bf could have something to eat too. I got the mixed pork soup and a half order of the blood sausage to share with the table. The broth itself was so rich and comforting, with just the slightest bit of stickiness on my lips that indicated the great collagen content. The chili paste added a nice layer of flavor and I seasoned the soup to my taste with the salt on the table. The porkiness of the broth was strong but not overwhelming. The banchan were all really good, especially the radish kimchi which was perfectly seasoned and fresh. It was my first time trying Korean blood sausage and I enjoyed the chewy texture from the rice noodles and the seasoned salt it came with. We enjoyed everything with soju and beer, which was just perfect for the rainy weather we were in. This was one of the most satisfying meals I've had in a while, I'll be thinking about this meal for months to come!

JinSol Gukbap is finally in OC. It tastes the same as the LA location without the drive. The menu is not exactly the same as the LA location, but we came for only the gukbap anyways which was delicious. Will definitely come back. The dwaeji gukbap is hearty and comforting soup that is perfect for a cold day. We also love getting the suyuk as well. The small is perfect for two people and a large is great for bigger groups. We came on a Tuesday night for dinner and still had to wait about 15 minutes.

Came here with a group of 3 and all of us enjoyed the food. I got the spicy braised beef soup and leek pancake but I've had the blood sausage pork soup previously and it was all delicious. I came around 3pm so it wasn't busy but I know the restaurant does get packed during dinner time. Parking wasn't an issue as they have a private parking. You use an iPads to order your food and everything is self service but the staff is very attentive if you need help. They give you a few side dishes like a typical Korean restaurant does. Some kimchi, water kimchi and onion/jalapeños with sammjang to dip in. They also give you a complimentary bowl of small rice with sammjang, kimchi, and sesame oil to eat. It's like a mini bibimbap lol Onto the food:10/10 Spicy Braised Beef Soup - It big bowl of soup and I was able to share it with someone else. Very flavorful and has the right amount of spice. If you can't handle spice then get the Pork Soup as that has no spice.8/10 Leek Pancake - I liked it was on the thinner side because I like my pancakes to be a bit crispier. It tasted like what you expected. Nothing out of this world but definitely something I would try if you're curious. Make sure to dip it in the side of sauce they give you. It comes with 6 pieces so it's shareable amongst a group.

I recently dined at Jinsol Gukbap in Los Angeles and was thoroughly impressed. The gukbap (rice soup) was rich and flavorful, with tender pork and perfectly seasoned broth. We also got their cold noodle which was delicious. The banchan (side dishes) were fresh and complemented the meal well. The restaurant's ambiance is very traditional and the staff was attentive and friendly. A must-visit spot for authentic Korean comfort food!

My favorite place in OC for gukbap! I used to always frequent the one in Stanton before they closed and opened in Buena Park. This new location has a bigger menu with more variety. My favorite is their Soondae Gukbap. We also tried out the spicy jokbal this time and it was really good! If you can't handle spice, definitely get less spicy. We got less spicy and it was still pretty spicy for us. The ladies that work here are also very kind and attentive! Store is spacious with a lot of seating so the wait is usually not too bad. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in OC.

Love this place!!! Their pork soup obviously is #1 and feeds enough for 2! We went with a group second time and tried the kimchi stew which serves approximately 4. Super tasty and they use the super sour ripe kimchi. But love the side dishes and radish kimchi my favorite! But yea pork soup always hits the spot!

Their Korean soups and food is very good. A lot of indoor seating and some outdoor. Parking is next to the the building but very limited. Approximately 20 cars can fit inside. Service is excellent and quick.

Jinsol Gukbap offers a hearty and satisfying meal, perfect for those craving comforting Korean flavors. I ordered the pork gukbap and blood sausage gukbap, and both dishes were rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. The broth in the pork gukbap was well-seasoned and hearty without being overwhelming, while the blood sausage gukbap had a distinct, earthy depth that felt traditional and nostalgic. The service was another highlight of my visit. Despite being packed on a busy Saturday morning, the servers were attentive and quick to ensure that all tables were taken care of. They were especially on top of refilling the banchan, particularly the kimchi, which was fresh, crunchy, and added the perfect balance to the heavier soups. The ambience is casual and bustling, with the constant flow of customers creating an energetic, almost communal dining experience. It's not a place for a quiet meal, but the lively atmosphere makes it clear how popular and well-loved this spot is. Seating can feel a little tight due to the crowd, but it's worth the wait for the food and service.Jinsol Gukbap is the kind of place you go for simple, comforting Korean fare done exceptionally well. Whether you're new to gukbap or a longtime fan, this spot hits all the right notes for flavor, authenticity, and a warm dining experience. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

The famous LA Korean spot Jinsol Gukbap in Buena Park! Nice modern space with clean wooden tables, nice lighting, and enough seats for big groups. - Pork gukbap (soup)- Spicy cold noodles- Naengchae Jokbal (braised pork feet with cold jellyfish)Everything's super authentic and delicious. Their cold noodles are my favorite, but that Naengchae Jokbal is honestly the best I've had - love that mustard sauce!Service is quick and friendly. Will definitely be back for more cold noodles.
