Small pork belly - meat was tender but portion much smaller than expected based on the menu photo--definitely single-serving. the accompanying bone broth was hearty but was quite bland, I adjusted it to my taste with about 3 scoops of salt. their ssamjang was SO good, adding a rich, savory kick to the meat.Shop is very generous with their banchans - all paired SO well with the main dish. Came for lunch at 11:30AM and was seated right away with no wait. There is a private parking lot that charges $2 valet (mandatory) for lunch.

Another excellent meal at Jinsol after returning to LA! My husband and I got a small pork order, ox knee soup, and the chive pancake to share with each other. The small pork order actually came with a soup so we had more than enough to eat. They were very generous with the tendon in the ox soup FYIThe service was excellent, as always. The staff is quick to notice and respond, which is appreciated. We like this location as it's closer and going right before the dinner rush means there's room in the parking lot!

- cold noodles, kalbi, and seokeo gukbap (pork soup with pork slices, tongues, ears) are solid in flavor, comforting, and a bang for your buck with all the unlimited banchan refills + large portions. would keep in mind that the set of 6 banchans only applies for the gukbap and not the cold noodles / kalbi combo. the cold combo does come with cabbage + kimchi though. broth for both hot and cold soups was delish. - valet parking $2 for lunch, $3 for dinner. they have a lot with about 10-12ish spots that wasn't busy on a wednesday - service is friendly and food is served quick!- very spacious and well lit inside. - really love the scorched rice candy they give out at the end of the meal - must be a recent thing b/c they didn't do this in july 2024 when i visited for the cold noodles.

The pork soup with rice ($15.95) is a must-order. The pork soup with blood sausage & rice ($17.95) was okay. The beef knee cartilage soup with rice ($17.95) came out lukewarm.Overall, the meal was satisfactory. The group was a bit sleepy afterwards from the MSG? The complimentary banchan side dishes were pretty good. The customer service was typical for a Korean restaurant. Mandatory valet parking at this Koreatown location.

**As of two weeks ago, they no longer have soy marinated crab on the menu. The pork gukbap here is freaking delicious and warms me up! For right under $16, the price is super reasonable. For those that aren't as familiar with gukbap, make sure you mix and stir the soup because there is a red paste at the center bottom of the soup that gives the soup a kick and additional flavor. Toss in the side of chives they provide and then season with salt, pepper, and salty shrimp to taste. My husband that isn't even a soup guy thinks this soup has a great depth of flavor. I literally can come here and just order gukbap and be happy. The leek pancake side is also great and very affordable. Ask for it to be extra crispy! My husband ordered the naengmyun and galbi combo. Both dishes were good with galbi coming with only 4 pieces but for the price and size of naengmyun provided, that makes sense it's a very small portion. The banchan is limited but all very good and somewhat unique. I love their variety of kimchis from jalapeño kimchi, white kimchi, radish kimchi and regular kimchi. Goes perfectly with the gukbap. The service was really great here. They were quick with taking orders, bringing food, giving water refills, and on top of that was very sweet to my little baby (smiling and joking with him). The valet parking here is $2 at lunchtime and $3 at dinner time. If you are looking for good quality, casual Korean food- check this place out! One of my favorite Korean restaurants in LA. They have two locations in LA and one location in Buena Park.

Ordered #15 naengchae jokbal and #16 kimchi Jjim to share...portions are huge and worth the price. Family of four ended up having so much leftovers and having to take the rest home after stuffing our faces. Food was delicious! Loved the side dishes that were provided. Staff are attentive. Small parking lot in the back is valet.

Ambiance: this is Jinsol's second location in Korean town, private lot cost $3 for valet parking, spacious and clean inside, good for large group hangout Service: very friendly, refilled water adequately, and patient with questions Food: simple menu for comfort food Banchan - **** although limited kinds, and they serve marinated raw crabs Naengchae Jokbal - ***** Braised pigs' feet with special mustard sauce, and cold jellyfish salad, boneless thin slices, tender and chewy, very tasty with sauce, if you like this type of food, they serve one of the best in town, highly recommend Price: generous portions and affordable prices, expect $25 per person for a very fulfilling meal
