Of course we tried it bc of Keith Lee. I won't knock down the points because of time bc after Keith Lee has visited a place we know the time gonna be hella long. Husband went 08/26/24Good: - The proteins tasted good: crab cakes (full of crab meat!!), catfish, and lamb chops- husband and daughter loved the cornbread Bad - the Mac n cheese was terrible it was seasoned noodles with curdled cheese (they likely are using shredded cheese which if you make Mac n cheese you know you have to freshly shred yourself bc the cornstarch on the pre shredded causes it to not stick to the noodles and curdle. - the yams were not cut up evenly so most of the yams I got were like mush in the juice that had over reduced so much that it was thick dark brown paste like consistency It is hella expensive, hubby got double protein for 3 meals and the total was $175 Would not go back or recommend

This place is absolutely disgusting! Don't believe the hype!! I tried this place with my best friend on 4/20/24 we waited 2 hours for our food & that's what it looked like when we got it. Not pictured, we ordered the blackened salmon plate with Mac & cheese & cornbread. In the picture is the lamb chop plate with yams & cornbread. These plates were on the 4/20 menu. Also, because we waited so long they gave us a complimentary banana pudding dessert. Both the salmon & the lamb chops were over salted but at the same time had no flavor. The Mac and cheese was truly an abomination & it looked the same color as the yams in the picture. The yams were burnt & had no flavor. Lastly the cornbread was undercooked. We spent almost $100 on this meal & we threw every single item in the trash. Even the free banana pudding was thrown away because that didn't taste good either. We ONLY tried this place because we saw Keith Lee's review but even in his review the food looked NOTHING like the food we received. It was truly a disappointment & a terrible way to end the day. Definitely don't recommend!

Soul food was bussing, and the people down to earth, the chef was a vibe. Lamb chop was the best thing good job guys

This is the best soul food in town and the best Mac n cheese.I truly love your customer service and hospitality. You should be extremely proud of yourself for creating a dope menu and actually knowing how to cook!!Pleaasssssse bring back the sweet potato pie.

So let me give my opinion that everyone's definition of soul food is different. This is by far the most I spent on soul food that I trashed. I am going to lead with the good the service by Jazz was great she was able to accommodate a request for my non-meat eaters. ( heads up if you order online you can not adjust or modify orders so you will wait 1 hour for your food in person. It took my order 53 minutes). Unfortunately it was not worth the wait.So I ordered a lemonade that I did not get $7 down the drain. I will admit that was a error on my part as well I forgot to remind her. We had catfish, blackened salmon, chicken wings with Mac and cheese , garlic mashed potatoes, greens( for the meat eater). The blackened salmon was over cooked and not seasoned well, catfish and wings were fried in burnt or re used oil because it was dark and not seasoned well. The Mac and cheese was oily mainly shredded cheese caked on top. Garlic mashed potatoes were simple nothing fancy or flavorful. The corn bread was more like a cake and had a lemon taste to it. Not what I would call corn bread at all. Overall, always try a place for yourself don't believe the hype on social media videos.

Be prepared to WAIT. Came in person at 5:45pm on a Thursday night and did not get my food until 7:00pm. There were not that many people there, and they do not tell you the wait times until after you've ordered and paid (I think this is intentional as they do not give refunds) so it came as a complete shock to me that it took this long. Granted, there is only one person cooking on one stove, washing the pan in between each order. She looked like she was doing her best, but this process is just not sustainable. The food was so mediocre. I was extremely disappointed since I saw Keith Lee's rave review on TikTok and was expecting really great food. The catfish and salmon were both so salty we could not eat more than a few bites. The Mac and cheese was just bleh. The yams were actually not edible. The best thing there was the fried cabbage, but I still could pass on it. Overall just very disappointed I wasted 1:15 minutes of my life and almost $100 for this food that we mostly threw away. Keith Lee, you steered me wrong!

Stopped by Jazzy's on a weekend late afternoon. The food was so good and my friend and I loved everything we ordered. Overall I feel like there were a few communication mixups but the food definitely helped makeup for it. We were first timers and the person greeting us was friendly. We searched for a menu but were told that there was no menu but we could be read the specials. The surf & turf (lamb chop and lobster roll with three sides) sounded good so we decided to partake. It would've been nice if prices were states since there was no menu because I was a bit taken back by the nearly $60 price for a carry-out only restaurant. We also weren't given a time period of when the food should've been available..just that we would get a text.. but found out from someone outside the wait was ~1hr. After our hour we came back and our food was ready in ~10-15.The food was delicious, lamb chops were tasty and I loved the mac&cheese and cornbread.

Food tasted good, but not $60 good. Do you see those f****n' pea-sized lamb chops! I feel like y'all took advantage of me because i was a delivery order & knew i couldn't check my food before leaving establishment. Also, I ordered it at 5:40ish and got the food at 8:30pm!

We ordered Mac and cheese and corn bread for Thanksgiving. Our pick up time was 7:30 pm. It was then changed to 9:30 pm. The pickup location was in downtown La. We arrived and found an abandoned building. There were a couple of cars waiting and a guy was like, if you looking for Jazzy's it's in the parking lot. They had people waiting in a vacant parking lot to drop off food. It was 9:40 and they still weren't there. So we left. She was extremely kind and offered to meet us at another location downtown, but it was beyond the scope of our expectation for a business. They do not give refunds. Happy Thanksgiving!

Hot honey cat fish, yams, and Mac.By far the worst Mac I've ever had. Mind you I waited over 2 hours for my food. Niecy told me that they were making the Mac fresh. That's why it took so long. It was so dry and the worst Mac I've ever had, especially when they're considered "soul food" The yams were okay. The catfish barely had any sauce on it AND they messed up my second order by giving me the exact same sides as the first order. I'm missing my rice and cornbread after calling and Niecy telling me she wrote my order down. Horrible service. The lady told me to call her once I received my order and when I did she wasn't there anymore. Please do better for the next customers coming to support. I will not be returning after trying this place not once, but twice!
