My food came via Yelp/GrubHub and although the food was left on the door step and no one rang the doorbell, it remained warm. I ordered an Aloo Puri, a flaky fry bread with an amazing potato curry and the lamb biryani. Both tasted amazing, with the Aloo Puri being the standout. Buttery boiled potatoes coupled with an amazing curry base that I paired the next day with jasmine rice. I could eat it every week! The lamb biryani felt comforting and possessed an ample amount of meat. However, I prefer the chicken version, because the lamb felt a bit dry and tasted slightly bland, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it and would order it again (every shop has a off day). Jasmine Market and Deli will continue to be my go to for delicious delivery food!

I take friends and family to Jasmine Market whenever they're visiting the westside and in search of an affordable, tasty option. I've gone here 5+ times in the past year and it does not disappoint! My favorites are the asone thoke (everything noodle) and the paratha. The asone thoke is a tangy and spicy cold noodle salad with lots of tofu and veggies mixed in. It's my go to when I want a refreshing meal. The paratha is perfectly crispy and has generous fillings that will complement any entree you get here. Other great options here include the dumbauk (Burmese biriyani) and the classic tea leaf salad. Portions here are big! We usually end up with leftovers :) the service is also pretty quick - you order at the counter and choose your own table outside, where the food will be brought to you. There are heat lamps for the colder nights so you can stay nice and cozy.

Large portions of delicious food! +Chicken curry lunch combo was great value (curry, rice, pickled vegetables, and veg curry side with naan).+Chicken biryani was a big portion and super tender meat, which included the breast ( not dry).+Tea leaf salad was something I've never had before and I really liked the pickled tea leaves. Beware, there is caffeine from the tea leaves. So don't eat this for dinner if you're sensitive to caffeine. It will keep you up at night. +Potato samosas were alright. Nothing mind blowingAll of this food made for 3+ meals for 2 people. The restaurant is a market and you can find a selection different Asian snacks and pantry items. Parking is metered street.

Ambiance: it's a deli style restaurant, so packed and crowded, limited seats inside and large covered patio in front of the establishment Service: friendly but so slow and forgetful, and they don't have a proper tracking system, like number tag or so, initially they made the wrong order and I quickly corrected the items ordered, however, after literally more than one hour waiting time, none of ours was served whereas other people who came afterwards and already finished their food, so had to check with the cashier again, apparently they served our food to the wrong table and that table happed to order one similar item and they took the entire package supposed to serve us, anyway, both parties were wrong and we had to suffer for their mistakes, so we had to wait for the kitchen to remake our food, the staff sincerely apologized for the inconvenienceFood & Drink: their menu has numerous items and lunch specials have the best value, served with Rice, Vegetables, and freshly baked Naan Mohinga (Fish Soup) - **** Considered to be the national dish of Myanmar, a savory fish soup with rice noodles, chili, garlic, onion, and lemon grass, interesting combination of flavors, recommend Lamb Curry - ***** Lamb curry and their blend of homemade blend of spices come together of this savory stew, flavorful lamb meat and tasty curry, highly recommend Boneless Tondoori Chicken - *** average taste Naan - **** crispy and chewy, recommend Banana Halwa - **** fresh banana, sooji powder, eggs, coconut milk, sugar, ghee, sweet and sour desserts, recommend Thai Tea - *** canned drink Price: generous portions and affordable prices, about $20~$25 per person for a very fulfilling meal

it's been awhile since I came here. Decided to stop by with my sister for lunch on a Friday afternoon. There's a few covered tables outside (heat lamps too) and a few smaller tables inside. You order at the counter. There's also a selection of packaged goods and groceries inside. We got the mohinga, ohn no kau swe (coconut chicken noodle soup), fish cake salad (it's B9 on the menu posted on the window of the restaurant, but not the menus inside, fyi), and chicken samosas. Everything was delicious. The samosas were piping hot and juicy (it's an order of 4). Both noodle soups were so good. My mom's mohinga cannot be beat, but this hits the spot when I have a craving. I would order everything again. And try their naan (table next to us had it and it looked really good) and thoke. I've had their biryani in the past - also good - but I like noodles more than rice. Bathroom inside in the back, and metered parking available on Sepulveda.

I wanted to love this place... but the greasiness and dryness of the meat just didn't sit well with my stomach :(I love a good hole in the wall restaurant and I was so excited to stop by for some Burmese food! I placed my order over the phone and went to pick up. The service was great and my food was ready and packaged. The cashier was so friendly and I think it's always great to support these small businesses. I got the beef curry, lamb biryani and mohingha. The mohingha noodles were separated so they didn't get soggy which was nice. The mohinga was underwhelming. It lacked flavor and any fish at all! It mostly tastes like grease mixed with dilute curry to make a stew. There were HUGE chunks of herbs/veggies but not any meat which was disappointing. The noodles were much to soggy and over cooked. The lamb biryani was HUGE. There was a ton of rice that lasted so many servings and 2-3 large pieces of lamb. The lamb was pretty dry and over cooked but the biryani was flavorful. The beef curry was probably my least favorite. The beef was extremely dry and the curry was tasteless and mostly grease.I wanted to love jasmine market so much but unfortunately the quality really wasn't great. I would possibly come here for late night munchies if you want to load up on the grease, but my stomach didn't feel great after eating this food so be warned!

Delicious foods. Different curries have different flavors. Different naans have different texture as well. The environment is nice.

We felt this place was excellent. If you are in the mood for Burmese food, kabobs and curries this is the restaurant for you. We ordered the three leaf salad, the tandoori chicken and the tikka masala. The chicken was juicy and fresh and well seasoned. The vegetables, rice and naan came with the kabob plate and were very good. We also added a garlic naan which was delicious. Great food and great service from a well operated family establishment.
