Came in for lunch on a Sunday and there was only one employee in the front. It wasn't very busy so the cashier who is also the waitress was attentive with us and everything came out fairly quick. The beef jerky was delicious! Excellent appetizer and loved having it with the rest of my meal too. The pad kee Mao and the pad kra pao were both very good as well. Not overly salty, noodle texture was good, with decent amount of sauce. We asked for mild for each and it was flavorful with a great level of spiciness to it. Definitely a hidden gem. We stumbled upon this place because the Korean chicken spot across had a long wait once you order. So grateful I was able to have this instead. The parking lot is small, but you may be able to find street parking around the area. Would love to go back!

A must try Thai spot in Koreatown!Blue crab papaya salad is a must try. The blue crab is raw so heads up and is tender and flavorful. It didn't have an overwhelming seafood smell. They specialize is Larb, which I will have to get next visit. All their dishes were flavorful and cooked perfectly. Solid spot!Thank you for the complimentary coconut panda sago pandan pudding! Creamy, nutty, and the perfect sweet treat to end the meal.

This place is in the Wilshire center area of LA (Korea Town). Traffic can be tough and parking is tight here as well. Once inside, it is nice, clean and new with a tuktuk in the corner. It wasn't crowded at all during lunchtime. In general, Thai restaurants that offer northern Thai-style dishes are hard to find. As the name suggests, Isaan means "northeastern". This restaurant serves Sai Oua (fermented pork sausage) and sticky rice. Being this is my first time here, I also tried the Larb Khai (ground chicken salad). Service was friendly and the dishes had a nice presentation to them. The sausage was not bad, but I've had better when I visited Chiang Mai. The Larb was good and you can order it as spicy as you like. Afterwards, the nice server gave me a free desert: green pandan jello with coconut cream on top. Overall, the experience was nice, but beware...they only take cash.

We ordered in from here and everything was delicious! We had the spring rolls, the pad Thai with chicken, the beef jerky, and the tom kha with tofu. The beef jerky was something I'd never tried before and definitely needed the sauce but everything was so good. I have not been in person so I can't speak to the restaurant but it holds up well as delivery!

Isaan street has always caught my eye when I go grocery shopping at HK, but I finally had a chance to try it and it didn't disappoint! My friend had been here before and knew what I would like so she ordered for me. The papaya salad was nice and pungent with a lot of blue crab. It was exactly how I like it! We also ordered the hotpot which is something that I always crave. The broth is a bit tangy and fragrant. For two, the amount of veggies, meat and noodles were plentiful! It tastes exactly like how the hot pots in Thailand taste.I have my own Thai spot that I love, but when I'm craving a good papaya and hot pot, I will be back!

I had this place saved for a year and finally got a chance to try. It was recommended by a Thai person so I had high hopes.Food: we ordered the Green Curry with chicken, Pad See Ew with Beef, and Crying Tiger. Oh my goodness.... Everything is so good ! The crying is exceptionally good and the sauce pairs so well with it. The Pad See Ew is some of the best I have had. The beef is tender and marinated so well. Some places overcook their beef but not at Issan Station. Everything was so flavorful. We also order the Thai ice tea and the popular Palm Juice. You have gotta try the Palm juice ! It's so refreshing but it's on a sweeter side FYI.Service: Food came out the same time and the wait time was minimum since we were the only customers at the moment. I noticed a lot of take out orders. Our friendly server asked us quite a few times if we needed anything. No issues at all. NOTE THAT this place is cash only and they do have an ATM machine. Ambiance: The interior is cute and there's a Tuk Tuk inside for the gram. The parking lot is hella small and it's shared with a few businesses in the plaza. We were lucky to find one with 5 mins wait. Parking spots are tight but I think you could park in the neighborhood behind. I definitely would come back to try the other popular dishes !

I've been to Isaan Station many times but never had their beef boat noodle and I'm so glad I tried itJust as I had imagined, the broth was super rich and flavorful with a perfect blend of the 4S of flavor (sweet, sour, spicy, and savory)Also got their papaya salad with a choice of mild spiciness which was simply perfect and deliciousAnd when I visit a Thai restaurant I usually getshrimp Pad Thai, and honestly some placesskimp out on the sauce resulting in a bland taste, but Isaan Station made it perfectly rightfor my palate Parking is only valet but the parking lot is very small so most of the time it's hard to get in and out since there are so many cars all trying to get in and out at the same time

Omg they need to fix the AC up in here during this summer heatwave! I almost left, but reminded myself that I drove a distance and fought LA traffic to get here, for some good authentic Thai food... What kind of Thai of food? Isaan Station serves regional Thai food from the northeast part of Thailand. Isaan" food focuses grilled meats and seafood, meat and vegetables with the usage of exotic herbs, spices, and pungent sauces unique to that region of Thailand- not to mention the food is spicy! It's similar or exactly like Laotian cuisine. Isaan food are known to be intense due to the spiciness and fermented sauces; however, a tone down version can also be made. You either love it or hate it. Overall I think this restaurant was okay - I have my favorite spots, so maybe am bias. Flavors and quality of ingredients were on point just a bit too salty on some dishes I ordered. Service is so nice! A tad slow but I understand they probably were short handed. Parking is super tight with shared businesses. If you drive an SUV or Truck good luck; find street parking is my advice. Cash only!

Food is good but it's consistently the slowest disorganized service when getting the food. It's common to get your first order 20 minute to more than 30 minutes after you order. Don't come here if time is of essence
