Ireland's 32 just may be the very best pub in the San Fernando Valley. The dark wood and muted lighting draws you in and seems to shelter you from the craziness of the big city outside. Friendly bartenders like Moses, Alan and Lindsay keep you laughing and keep the drinks flowing, be they imported tap beers, a dram from their well-stocked bar, or a masterfully made Irish coffee. Live music rocks the house at night, while a great jukebox keeps the place lively the rest of the time. Ireland's also features a menu of top notch, bespoke-made food that will surprise you with how good it is. Sausages, fish & chips, and steak sandwiches all hit the spot, and they make a superior burger: 8oz of fresh ground beef, char-grilled and served on a fresh-baked bun with any of several toppings, like Dubliner cheese and Irish bacon. Their fries (chips) are hand-cut from skin-on potatoes and cooked to order, served perfectly crisp and properly salted. And there are several daily specials you won't be angry about either. There's always a friendly crowd and a good time to be had... and it's the ultimate spot to celebrate St. Patrick's Day starting very early and going very late. Don't wait on this place... head in ASAP.

It really depends on the band playing, and in general don't expect a waitress to come around and take your order. I've been here many times and had some really good times, and some not so good times.It's definitely a bar like Cheers that if you come there all the time, people know you and seem to get your drinks faster.If you don't get there early on a night of good bands playing, don't expect to get a table . I do like that they're still promoting local bands, and the bands of seen there are quite good

The closest to a proper poured Irish Guinness in Los Angeles . The black and brown goodness of Ireland the Guinness schticks are delectable. If you're a fan of traditional dark hole in the wall taverns with good pub food, friendly bar tender, mini TV, and splitting the G, this might be your place! The portions of food are pretty big so either come hungry or ready to leave with leftovers. Street parking available.

Amazing service, drinks, and food. Sunday night karaoke is so much fun! The guests always have so much fun performing and you will be smiling all night.

Ireland 32: Totally charming dive bar dating back decades is a Van Nuys institution. If you like noise with hyper, screaming harpies, this is the place for you. Bands also become part of the noise scene later in the evening around 9pm so definitely not for people who easily become sensory overloaded. Alan is the amiable, avuncular Bar-t on an early Wednesday evening. I ordered the Dubliner Burger, the most Irish of the burgers at 7:40pm, and got it to my bar seat at 8:10pm. Found out it was well worth the wait. The bun is seared like a brand with the word Dub to distinguish it from the other burgers. Generous, thick beef patty that seems aged full of blood minerality, meaty beefiness. Ordered medium rare so meat is plush, bouncy and not dried out & hard if you go beyond medium. Aïoli/garlicky mayonnaise, grilled tomato, good slice of salty smoky Irish bacon, Dubliner cheese is also smoky with a creamy, milky sweetness. This burger & fries are substantial so it is a meal unto itself. I snuck in home grown Nira/Japanese garlic chives, Italian Arrugula, organic shredded cabbage to add into the hamburger for added refreshing vegetal tones to counter the meatiness. Came with thick skin on potato fries. I ordered crispy, but that thick, it's hard to achieve perfection. Half Guinness & half Harp two layered drink in a pint glass, but for historical reasons, NEVER call it Black & Tan in an Irish Pub! Light & dark combo was a good thirst quencher for the big burger. Ireland 32? Bar itself is 3 stars although for regulars, it seems to be a social lifeline. Perhaps going at 2pm will provide a calmer, less decibelled venue. However, the Dubliner Burger tipped me over the line to a 4- star review.

Est. 1963-As more and more live music venues in the valley are closing their doors for good, Island's 32 has become one of the last and best places to hear live music nightly, and with no cover. Bands play from Tue-Sat, as well as Karaoke on Sundays and Comedy on Mondays. In addition, they have a great menu and the food is excellent. They serve typical pub fare, which is all good, but the Fish & Chips are exceptional - some of the best in town. The burgers are also excellent, and I don't have to mention the creamy goodness of draft Guinness, but I just did. Ireland's 32 is a Valley gem. Good food, good prices, live music, plenty to drink, no cover, and no stupid hidden fess added to the bill.. What's not to like!

My parents like this spot, it came to me on recommendation from them.My Mom really likes the fish and chips but she didn't mention how large they are.We stopped in early one evening for a couple pints and the fish and chips. One order will easily feed two people, you don't each need your own.There wasn't any live music going during our visit, that may not start until past my bedtime.Good spot for a Guinness and fish and chips.Street parking out front.

Love this place for both the food and the ambiance. Great people. Live music. Dancing too on a good night. Usually am older crowd, which I prefer. Just a good old fashioned pub. Reasonably priced.

If you are looking for a good fish and chips, this is the place! Lots of locals and regulars at this place, The bar area is fun! This place is popping sometimes!
