Intimate and lovely restaurant Love this place! Pierre is the lovely gentleman who greeted us upon arrival and Nicola was so fun and lively as he explained all the menu in detail. An extra thank you to Daniel who made sure our table had everything we wanted, from the bread to filling our water to making sure our table was always kept clean and in order. Thank you everyone for making it a memorable night to celebrate our anniversary.

Delicious!!!! Even though it was busy the service was great, and the food was amazing. Only get the pizza if you like thin crust. The corn ravioli, which was on the specials menu for the night, was my absolute favorite. Great place to carb out!

The Drago family never disappoints! This is probably my favorite Italian restaurant in the city! It's an absolute hidden gem, and the food is hmm hmmm hmmm amazing! Fantastic service. You can see that the staff really loves it here and really enjoy providing the best service with knowing they have the best food! Ambiance is like a transport to a cute hole in the wall alley somewhere in Italy that only locals know about. Some of the best pasta tasting dishes you'll find in LA! You want a hidden gem? This is it!

We have been going to Il Segreto Ristorante for decades. It is owned by the Drago family, who have many other restaurants in Los Angeles, including Panzanella in Sherman Oaks. The restaurant is warm and welcoming, although please take note that it is usually quite noisy, but aren't most restaurants. The menu is extensive, without being overwhelming, with many options for everyone. One of my favorite dishes to order out is Branzino, and Il Segreto prepares the fish to perfection. Their pizzas, pastas and salads never disappoint either. Enjoy!!!

We went on a Monday at 6pm and wasn't that busy but it started to pick up once we finished. Amazing service and attention to detail when served. Excited to come back to try other plates!

Last night was absolutely magical! This was our first visit and it will not be our last. We heard so many great things about the restaurant, and they are all true!I made my reservation with the host, Pierre. He was very friendly and promised to help make our evening special. I asked for a seating accommodation, and Pierre made it happen! It's a beautiful restaurant and our table was perfect! Our server was Nicola and he was fantastic. Based on the fact that this was our first visit, he walked us through the menu and the specials. He is very passionate about the restaurant and the incredible dishes that they offer. We started with the Burrata and Nicola recommended the Carbonara special. We also had the Branzino. We finished this incredible dining experience with the limon desert and it was a perfect way to conclude the evening. Everything was simply amazing and so delicious! Thank you to everyone for making our evening so special.

Charming and comfortable, with very familiar and strong wait staff. Felt like you were visiting the famiglia. Interesting short wine by the glass list. We shared a ceasar salad between 2, and it was easily enough for 3. It was delicious, with crispy romaine, a rich dressing, and shaved parm. We all had pasta, and I think everyone was pleased. I had the spaghetti cacio e pepe, and enjoyed it. Not exactly like sitting in Rome, but a satisfying take on this dish. My other had the bolognese and thought it a robust dish. The bread service with olive oil and balsamic vinegar was worthwhile. A nice, crusty Italian with a moist, soft crumb. Know that while it appears on your table when you are seated, you do pay for the bread per person. Overall, it was a very enjoyed meal.

So impressed by Il Segreto, "The Secret" is well-named, because it's tucked away in the corner of the Glen Center mini-mall, so easy to miss. But you don't want to miss this exceptional restaurant--absolutely one of the best Italian restaurants in LA. The decor is simple and warm, with large photographs of Italy. The staff is friendly and many have Italian accents (I heard Italian coming from the kitchen, too). I ordered the classic Spaghetti and meatballs--because that's what I was in the mood for. It was the best I've had outside of Italy, and honestly was as good as anything I had in Italy, too.Everything was fresh, the "light spicy" tomato sauce was bright and deep. I'm not good with "spicy" but this was really mild and I loved it. The meatballs are ground beef and veal and perfectly seasoned. My friend had the spaghetti with black pepper sauce and and pecorino cheese. It was rich, peppery and delicious, too.The serving was large and I took half of it home. Yes, they do charge $1.50 for the bread, olive oil and balsamic vinegar--but it's grilled, hot and well worth it.Note that they don't have some dishes you might except, like lasagne or carbonara, but what they serve is so exceptional I look forward to dining here again soon!

I just love it here. Delicious, well-crafted Italian food. A hidden gem. Always fantastic service. Quality ingredients. My favorite eggplant parmigiana is from this restaurant because I personally like that it's thinly sliced and soooo cheesy on top. The sauce is a pretty orange rather than an acidic red. With a sexy touch of basil inside. Those penino noodle shapes are heavenly. They hold the sauce nicely on top. The chop chop salad has a great variety, so much protein w the tuna and beans. Even the bread basket tastes perfect.
