holy cow, where do i start?bestie and i were looking for dinner and we were skeptical about how highly rated this place was. personally, many reviews didn't seem authentic. boy, were we sorely proven wrong, and we're so glad we were!walking up to the establishment, it was already crowded with people. the interior was super vibey and decked out with music decor, very good theming. it did sort of remind me of what used to be a pizza or fish taco place with the layout and the metal wrapping around the kitchen. it was a "place your order and be seated" type of situation. their takeout boxe resembled a boombox - very clever and cute! we saw some bagged furikake chex mix at the register and were intrigued. we were able to grab a table immediately as a table had just left. the round table was in the image of a record - veryyy nice use of theming. we had to get our own water and utensils (no biggie). by the entrance, there's a hot beverage vending machine that had tea/coffee/hot choc for a quarter a cup. as soon as we were seated, we were provided with a complimentary tray of aforementioned chex mix and we were stoked. the mix was delicious, perfectly seasoned, and not soggy. we were so happy with this "sample" that we each purchased a bag after our meal. we ordered the apple tteokbbeokki, seaweed (gim ballad) wings (we only got 1 flavour though you can get 2 because the value was higher to get all seaweed since we were paying extra and added $ is priced higher than the other flavours), and loaded samba fries (asked for sauce on the side).samba fries were crispy and delicious - came with diced kimchi and melted cheese. sauce was unexpectedly chunky but delicious and packed some heat. overall, good but expected it a little more to be "loaded".apple tteokbbeokki - we couldn't adjust the spiciness but it was definitely a lot sweeter than our places, likely due to the apple. just the right amount of heat for us, but that spice definitely was creepin. enjoyed the actual pieces of apple. fishcake left much to be desired, tasted old/rubbery. rice cake was perfectly chewy. would get again!seaweed wings - def the star of the meal and a feast for the eyes seeing black wings! they definitely looked burnt was that's part of the fun, i guess! literally the crispiest wings. meat was juicy and tender. the batter literally tasted like the seaweed chips, which are one of my faves. literally such a game changer. also came with a sauce on the side that didn't really match as it reminded me of the watery chili sauce you get with thai grilled pork (crying tiger). the sauce was good - it just didn't compliment the particular flavour we got. we both felt it would've been fine with an OG fried wing. pickled radish was also provided, as standard with kfc. had leftovers and hubs said it was delicious even after re-airfrying. staff came to check in on us multiple times and was very sweet! wasn't expecting that at all since we ordered at the counter.can't wait to try other items on our next visit!

Came here for dinner, on a Saturday evening in late February 2025 via car, with another couple. Parking was easy and free in this huge plaza. You go inside and order at the front but because it was busy, they decided to take our order outside by our table. The service was excellent - you can tell every member of the staff cared about the quality of the food that's being served. The food was very good. My partner ordered the Lang Saeb Chicken, which was exactly how it would taste if you ordered it in Thailand. The skin was still crispy. That sauce was to die for! We even asked for more of the sauce to dip everything else in. I ordered the Spicy Carbonara Topoki, which was very good. It was, in my opinion, how every carbonara should be. The rice cakes were cooked perfectly. My friends ordered the 12-piece chicken - half Gim Ballad & half Honey Luv Rap. They said they liked both. The deep fried batter on the Gim Ballad was out of this world. They got it so crunchy!

A Fantastic Spot for Korean Fried Chicken!We stopped by on Friday, 2/21/25, for dinner around 7 PM. The place was busy, with all the tables taken, but we only had to wait about five minutes before being seated--not too bad at all.We ordered the 12-piece wings, half in the Original flavor and half in the Curry Lemon Pepper--a new one for us. The Curry Lemon Pepper had a unique, flavorful twist that we really enjoyed! I've been here a few times before and have now tried about half of their wing flavors. Our top favorites are definitely the Gim Ballad (seaweed-coated and fried) and the Original, but the Honey Luv Rap and Lemon Curry Pepper are also excellent choices.To round out the meal, we also got the anchovy French fries, which were crispy and full of flavor, and the Carbonara Topkoi, which the kids really enjoyed. The food came out surprisingly fast--less than 10 minutes. While we waited, they brought out complimentary Furikake Chex Mix, which was a fun and tasty snack that our kids couldn't get enough of.The service was great--the staff was attentive, friendly, and checked in on us a couple of times to make sure we were enjoying everything. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual, making it a great place to enjoy a fun and flavorful meal.If you're in the mood for delicious Korean fried chicken, this spot is definitely worth checking out. Whether you want to try something new or just switch things up from your usual routine, it's a fantastic option. Great food, great service, and great value--we'll definitely be back!

Had a huge party of 15 family dinner to end my son's birthday celebration. Everyone agreed the food was phenomenal and the service was amazing. The wait was a little long but expected when with a group of 15 so we didn't mind. Loved that the lighting was dim providing the cool laid back environment that tied everything together.

I recently visited this spot with some friends and it was such a hidden gem! The service was great, Darren was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our time here.We ordered the 12 pc chicken (half Mala and half Honey) along with the Spicy Carbonara, and everything was crispy and good! I personally really liked the honey flavor the spicy carbonara was super creamy and the spice wasn't overpowering.The store itself was really cool and a fun hangout spot! I'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend checking this place out!

I'm in the area and wanted to have some Korean fried chicken. Los Angeles tend to have better options when it comes to Korean fried chicken. When I came across this place. I was intrigued since they had a black looking fried chicken. To my surprise, this friend chicken is seaweed flavored batter! I had to try it and to my surprise it does taste like seaweed. I ordered takeout this time around but theGentleman who took my order and checked me out was super nice and answered all of questions. Also introduced the canned Makgeolli- highly recommend, it was a perfect pairing for the fried chicken. The bonchon was mediocre, I had better. The dinning area isn't that big and doesn't look like it can accommodate big parties but is big enough for a party of 8. Overall, I enjoyed the fried chicken with the Makgeolli.

Love this place! From the moment you walk in, it's an experience. The theme is great, but the food will bring me back. Absolutely FIRE chicken wings. The carbonara was good, too. Makes great leftovers if you can't finish
