Found this place serendipitously while out and about in Ktown, and what a wonderful discovery! It wasn't busy when I walked in around 9pm, in fact kind of quiet, but everyone eating there was Korean so I thought it should be quite the authentic korean food experience. The servers do not speak that much English, so communications were limited to ordering food and drinks, but couldn't really ask about certain unique dishes that I have never had, like the Spicy Skirt Fish. Anyway, I digress...The restaurant was cozy, feels mom-and-pop, very casual and pretty clean. I was with a friend and we ordered the cold soup noodle (Naengmyeong), galbi-jjim, and chicken with ginseng soup. The banchan that came with pickled radish and kimchi were delicious, but as far as side dishes go, there's not too many, but it's simple and tasted top notch. The cold noodle soup was soooo good since it was a warm night, and cooled me down. The chicken with ginseng soup was very wholesome and tasted like home. Since I worked out before dinner, the Galbi-jjim was just the right amount of protein to fill me up and give me a little food coma :-D. The servers were very nice and pretty efficient, since it was not busy. Overall, fantastic authentic Korean cuisine, seems frequented by local Korean people, efficient and friendly servers (with limited English), and very reasonable pricing in my opinion. Parking lot had plenty of parking, around 9pm, not sure about peak dining hour. Will definitely come back next time and bring friends!

This is a long overdue review. I dined here with friends a few months ago and it was one of the best dining experiences I ever had in Ktown -- which says a lot, considering the neighborhood's strong culinary game. The ambiance had a local feel to it. Most of the customers were elderly Korean, an indicator that this place was legit. It was. The food was flavorful and filled with umami. Portions were generous too. I dined with a table of three and we still had to take home leftovers! Our waitress was the sweetest aunty ever. She offered recommendations, educated us on the side dishes, and even sneaked in a few free treats for us. I forgot her name :( , but I hope she is absolutely thriving and living her best life. If you are on the hunt for true, authentic Korean food, come here! You won't be disappointed. And maybe, you're lucky enough to get the same waitress we had hehe.

Been coming here for a while. They have very solid traditional style food at a great price. I always get the soondae guk (korean blood sausage soup) when I'm here.A+

Hidden gem, hole-in-the-wall, where you'll see all of the middle-age koreatown ahjussi (middle aged men) with a bottle of soju on their tables. I'm sure none of them would really like that I'm writing this Yelp Review for the rest of the world to see and visit haha! Love it here, the ladies are friendly and fun! We were a group of 5 and they kept coming to our table to check on us because we were "young" and we reminded them of their kids. They kept bringing us more side dishes and telling us to eat more HAHA it was a lot of fun here. I crave their galbi and octopus soup some time, it's a large pot of nice warm broth from the short rib and a whole octopus with some radishes and leek. It sounds simple but it's like a comfort food for the soul, and of course the soju is cheaper here than other places (pro tip). There may be some language barrier but it's something you need to accept for cheap soju and close-to-home-cooked food! We went on a random Tuesday night and the place was jam packed so I cannot recommend when to go.Get their short rib octopus soup (not spicy) or their spicy chicken stew. The side dishes are simple but delicious and their dumplings are great--they are huge. Everything is sharing portion unless they are in the $15 range.

Pleasantly surprised - was heading to BCD tofu house but the line was impossible there. This authentic restaurant has super delicious soups and stew. Side dishes are impeccable. Service is friendly. Will be back if I can.
