I've been eating here for 20yr. Best curry chicken I've ever had. The only downside to this place is that there is only one location, other than that this place is 1st class

They are only takeout now. No more dining in except by reservation on Wednesday evening by appointment But I still love the kung pao shrimp and the green beans. And brown rice.

I've been going to whose Szechuan restaurant for many many many years. My go to dish is the Szechuan shrimp , Kung pow chicken, spring beans, and the fried rice. The last few times I've eaten here. It definitely was better than in the past. They have strange hours now so make sure you call before you decide to drive over here to eat. They deliver every night I think except for Mondays, but dine in is very restricted now. Definitely give Hu's a try!!

If you want food poisoning then order from here . Crappy Chinese food ordered a kung pao chicken which was just chunks of chicken with gravy no peanuts no springs onions nothing at all took one bite and felt like throwing up.

This place was my first Chinese food I had in Palms 3 days after we moved here from Santa Monica. I love their mu shu pork, shrimp in lobster sauce, and ma po tofu. Their fried rice is perfect.Szechuan is my favorite province for Chinese dishes. Living in NYC on UWS, every other block had a great Szechuan restaurant on it. It has been our "go to"in our neighborhood for last seven years. Parking is a challenge. Be patient because this old school establishment is well worth the challenge !

Bottom line: Is this the best Westside Chinese restaurant ? Hmmm..While the ingredients are certainly way more fresher than casual Chinese fast-food or dine-in, the kung pao chicken wasn't all that great when everything else considered .Ordered kung pao chicken lunch special. 13 dollars is okay for the price when you also factor in the mandarin chicken side salad .And the mandarin side salad was the highlight of the lunch special. Homemade toasted sesame dressing with the crunchy iceberg lettuce with cuts of chicken was a nice palliative for the disastrous bitterness of kUng pao chicken. The Kung pao chicken was just awful. It wasn't spicy, nor did it contain any veggies Im accustomed with. The sauce consisted of a nauseating dry and toasted almost bitter taste. Kung pao chicken has a pleasing heat or spiciness consistency, but this was just bitter. Meats seemed like a bump above , but the sauce absolutely killed anything redeeming.Had to order a cup of hot and sour soup separately. Should have came with the lunch special. It was neither spicy, nor sour and seemed genericAltogether, $20. Ridiculous. For lunch portions .

OMG! Horrible place. I placed a pick up order. Ordered rice but got noodles. Ordered chicken and got beef. And I don't do beef at all. Then the noodles had the plastic cover of the top of a bottle in it! Like the at white plastic film on top of any bottle. That was in the noodles. When I called the place later to talk to them about the wrong order , the attitude of the owner was horrible. Never going back to this place, even though now I have a credit sitting with them. Above all the food tastes HORRIBLE! Horrible being an under statement.

We ordered from Hu's while at a friend's house. All three of our dishes were very underwhelming.
