This establishment does not have any restrooms. It is small hole in the wall with 5 tables. They accept visa and Mastercard as long as it's 10 dollars or more. Great friendly service. I liked how they did not rush us out even though a couple was waiting to be seated and all tables were full. They serve you some nice hot tea, wait a little so the tea can infuse. My first cup with mild since I did not wait. They have a house made chili oil (made with peanuts) that is very good. Ordered several dishes but my favorite was the baked bbq pork buns and the yu Choy with garlic sauce. I forgot to order my egg custard tarts, maybe next time. I will return.

Single handedly has become my go to dim sum spot. The place is pretty small so you won't be seeing carts of dim sum being push around but everything comes out pretty quickly. I rave about their chili oil! My go-to items are: shu mai, friend chicken fried dumpling, and pan fried chive cakesExpect to wait during weekend lunch times but it's so worth it

This place is a gem! Ordered the shrimp shiu mai, sticky rice (awesome) , shrimp steamed dumplings, sugar cane shrimp, and chinese broccoli - everything was delicious!Staff was super friendly and attentive. At the end of the strip mall with a parking lot. Restaurant is small but the line moved quickly. We will be back for sure!

Looking for a close Dim Sum to my friend's house, I found this hole in the wall place, which is now very favorite! Shumai was so juicy and delicious. The porridge was what I craved for and felt like home. The friendliness and welcoming staff puts the cherry on the top! Will be back!

Best dim sum! Absolutely worth the drive (from Woodland Hills) and queue We came for a late lunch (2PM) on Christmas Day, and waited about 30-40min to get our table. The staff were all very accommodating and friendly -- definitely helped pass the time and lighten the mood of people waiting outside.Wait for food was not long at all. The menu is pretty straightforward and our server was very happy to entertain any questions and give recommendations where we asked. All the dishes we ordered were They all came out nice and fresh. Generous serves for such good value. And really, probably some of the best versions of these dishes we've had.Not pictured were the sesame balls and pineapple custard buns-- also so, so good!!

I met up with some friends at Hong Kong Dim Sum House to catch up. We didn't realize the restaurant is extremely small with limited seating so the wait time was a lot longer than anticipated. We waited over an hour. If you have time to spare and hunger did not strike you yet, the time will fly by. While waiting, I noticed a lot of people ordered food to go which is another option if you are short on time. Ordering was really easy by marking up the menu. The food came out relatively quickly and was hot and fresh as well. We left full and satisfied.

So, we ended up here because we tried to AYCE dim sum and they refused to let us on the list, saying we would keep them working longer. Since we were all craving dim sum, we Yelped and found this spot close by. First, service was super friendly! And it seemed like they had a few set regulars, which set all our minds at ease. Second, they had all the basics, which was exactly what we were looking for. And it was all yummy. Lastly, the price basically worked out to what we would have paid for AYCE and we were stuffed and left with leftovers.

This is a small restaurant in the same plaza as golden deli. There are a total of about 5 tables of four and two seats which is why there will be a long wait. Dim sum isn't a quick service and is meant to be sipping on tea and enjoying small plates. We ordered the main staples: chicken feet, meatballs, shrimp rice rolls, hargow, shumai, custard buns, yu choy, pan fried noodles, turnip cake, and shrimp with sugar cane. Everything was pretty tasty except for the noodles. Service was a bit slow and unorganized. When we were seated, we kept asking for a menu several times. In addition, they kept messing up on their to go orders. To get a seat here, it's probably best to come before 11am or just be lucky. The quality and taste are pretty good.

A delicious alternative to all the crazy dim sum cart restaurants in Monterey Park! Hong Kong Dim Sum House is a friendly mom & pop dim sum restaurant in the same plaza as Golden Deli. No carts here, just really friendly servers serving you your dim sum dishes. We were quickly seated on a Saturday morning - there were only about 8 tables or so in there so it could fill up quick. Luckily, the wait never seemed too long. All the dim sum dishes were delicious. You could tell they took their time in making them and cared about quality over speed. My personal favorite was the shu mai and shu mai is never my favorite! But you honestly could not go wrong with any of their selections.

Must be the best rice noodle in town! It's perfectly cooked, charred, the right ratio between rice noodle and onions, with onions perfectly softened, and at $9, plus the amazing nutty chili oil, definitely will get you hooked for more! The panfried chives cake is amazing. Especially dipped to the chili oil. Make sure you have them packaged for you if you're ordering takeout. Because the chili oil truly elevated the flavors even more.Service was curt as it should be, the place look always busy. Great place to have a hearty meal. Not the place for a quiet dining experience, but the hustle bustle definitely will jumpstart your appetite. Be prepared for next table envy, you might want to order what the next table ordered. You've been warned.Pricing and portion is not the cheapest, but quality is great for the price.
