Came here for roasted duck and it did not disappoint. The duck was juicy and the flavors hit the spot. I did the take-out option and I had a very good meal.

The food is very bomb! The service is very quick! The ambience of this restaurant is so calming and the room temperature.

Big Bro and I were tunnel visioned: SIL needed a mahjong set. We knew exactly where to get it. Drove half hour, parked at the bank half-a-block away, got to our favorite store who sells it, got the set and then started finding our way back the car. 10 minutes, tops. But walking back, we decided to stop somewhere for a drink. This was practically next door, so eh. Why not. We weren't being picky. Cool, they even had boba options! Big Bro got passion fruit green tea, I got the black, Hubbers got mango black. I can't speak for them, but mine was... meh. It certainly quenched the thirst, but boy, I can taste the lack of love in this drink! But keep in mind this is a restaurant, not a boba place. The goal was just to get a drink. Then we noticed a piece of roasted prom slap hanging with the ducks. It was small enough to feed maybe a party of five, so we purchased it and took it to go. We snacked on it soon as we got home. The skin was incredibly crispy and tasty. The inside was seasoned good, but slightly dry. This tells me it's been hangin' at the warmer for a minute. Still good. Could have been better. FOOD (and drinks): 3. SERVICE: 3. VALUE: 3. PARKING: Street only, but parking lots available for a small fee. OVERALL: 3. I might just try a sit-down experience next time to get a better overall feel of the place. I saw some food being served to patrons and they looked good! Making a mental note...

The most authentic Hong Kong style barbecue you can get in Chinatown Los Angeles. They've got a restaurant side with a simple menu as well, but I usually come for barbecue take out, like the Roasted Duck and BBQ Pork pictured.

Came here for takeout. Ordered duck and bbq pork. The duck was delicious. Juicy and full of flavor. I was in the mood for duck and this definitely hit the spot. It wasn't the best ever but it did the job when I was craving it. Bbq pork was good too although the pieces I got were a bit on the dry side but at least had good flavors. This is your no frills fast Chinese take out spot with greasy delicious food. Prices were decent as well.

Had lunch at this old staple that I haven't been to since covid. They have changed a bit in that their prices have skyrocketed and they charge 3% for using the dining room to eat. The staff is okay. There was one male and one female server. The male clearly didn't wanna be there and was mostly on his phone. When he did help it felt like we were irritating him. The female was helpful but clearly busy working all the tables. The restaurant is old and has not been updated for quite some time. The inside is dim and not very welcoming. I think people come for the location and reputation. The food was decent. The steamed fish was steamed through and had a light flavor. The onions were not finely sliced so they were hard to eat with the delicate fish. We also had the stir fried bbq pork with spicy sauce. It had great flavor but the slices were all different shapes instead of uniform. All in all an okay experience but will try somewhere else next time.

I was waiting for some clothes to get altered and ran across this place on the corner of the street. Decided to stop in and I'm glad I did. The food was flavorful and yummy. The pork chops were not dry which is my normal concern as it easy to dry out when frying. I would stop by again if I were in Chinatown.

Food was amazing can't deny that but.... The customer service was trash and having to pay 18% on a tip which I think wasn't well deserved

We walked by this place and only got one thing: the siu yuk to go. Note: this is a Cantonese restaurant so mandarin is not their first language. The food was good, but my only gripe was that it was a bit expensive (1.2 lbs for 28$).The food is good, but when we come back to the actual restaurant we will give a full review
