I came with a group of four on a busy Sunday and was seated within five minutes! The service was great! The staff is very nice and patient. They don't rush you even though they seem to be understaffed and busy. The inside was pretty big and it seems like the could accommodate huge parties. The food was really good! The meats were all super tender and flavorful. I didn't really hate anything. I would definitely come back!

So healing! We ordered delivery and had the galbi tang, kimchi jjigae, and omurice. Definitely too much for 2 people but we couldn't resist! Everything was incredible! The omurice was so flavorful and the soups really hit the spot on a cold day. Delivery came with a personal tray of 4 ban chan per dish. Can't wait to order again!

The food is fantastic! My wife and I stepped in just after shopping at the mall. I didn't know what to expect at first, but the menu looked interesting. I had the beef short rib soup... Galbitang. My wife had the Galbi Dolsot Bibimbap... with short rib meat. Everything was delicious, and there was plenty of it. We plan to come back with our kids for the Korean BBQ.The service was great, and we were entertained by the robot food carriers that assist the waiters. The restaurant was spacious enough to handle big crowds. There were plenty of space for families, and it is cozy enough for a date.I can't wait to go back.

Food is amazing! We order the Large beef combo for 2 adults and 2 kids with no drinks and it came out to $200 including tip. A little on the pricey side but i think its totally worth it. Service can be ailttle slow, but they were very nice. Would definitely come back.

Great spot in the outdoor area of Santa Anita Mall. Appears pricey with the $199 kbbq options, but A La Carte options are more affordable ($15+) for Bibimbap and already-prepared Bulgogi. Family and I bought 4 items: Fried Mandu, Galbi Bibimbap, Kimchi Fried Rice, ans Bulgogi (A la carte). We also received all the side dishes: 2 steamed rice bowls, kimchi cabbage, kimchi (radish?), potato salad, the sweet veggie with jalapeño, broccoli, bean sprouts.Delcious and filling taste -- we took food home! Service was consistent and servers always checked in. Didn't have to wait long to ask for check, containers, etc.

I really wanted to like this place, and everything about it was great except for the most important part- the meat. We got the beef combo, and unfortunately the beef tasted like it sat in a freezer for months. No flavor, and the cuts were poor texture and cheap. Great things about this place: service, ambience, and banchan. I'd love to come back here to try a soup or lunch special, but the barbecue was disappointing. Unfortunately, I think the price here is high because of rent, not because of meat quality.

Located inside the shops at Santa Anita mall. Plenty of parking available but can get really busy depending on when you come. I always pass by but never ate in here. Finally decided to make our way inside. It's much bigger than I expected and fits a lot of larger sized parties too. Perfect spot to eat after spending a day shopping. We ordered the beef special combo set which included a few diff types of meats and served with rice, salad, corn cheese and choice of stew. We also ordered the egg custard which is a Korean staple. This I could've done without. The waiters were attentive and came to help cook and grill our food. Loved their banchan, loved everything! Also, the bathrooms were surprisingly very clean compared to other places!

I've passed by this spot so many times walking through the promenade in the Santa Anita Mall, finally got a chance to give it a go. I opted to get a few ala carte dishes since I read the reviews about the sets being too pricey. Service was attentive when we arrived and we placed our orders fairly quickly. Tried these 3 dishes out.Gyeranjjim (steamed eggs) - Very good, not sure if it's worth $6.99 but it was tasty. It was a solid appetizer and is a Korean classic. (4/5)Sulungtang - This was solid and quite flavorful. Beef pieces were super tender and had a good amount of glass noodles. Really enjoyed it. (4.5/5)Galbitang - Few rib pieces with super tender meat. Flavor was very strong, wife thought it was a bit salty but I enjoyed it. Overall solid flavors (4/5).These all came with unlimited refillable side dishes which I thought were better than other Kbbq spots that I've been too. Overall a delicious spot even only getting the ala carte dishes. Another plus is that it wasn't too crowded on a Friday and they have huge tables to accommodate larger parties. Overall, it's pricey compared to other spots but for the stuff I got wasn't too bad. Spent $49 for two soups and an appetizer.

KBBQ inside of the Arcadia Mall was hard to find and a little pricey, but we were in the mood for bibimbap today. The restaurant is located on the Nordstrom side of the mall with the outdoor Asian restaurants across from Cha Tea. They have a decent weekday lunch special for soups at $11.99 but we opted for their a la carte options for our party of 4: Omurice (Delicious and had a homemade ketchup sauce), two galbi bibimbap bowls (beef was a little overcooked but flavor was good and so was the chili sauce they mixed in), and one japchae (this was the best of the dishes we tried and even had some beef in it) Everything was larger portions than we expected and we could've split two amongst the four of us!The service was really great too. It tends to be a little pricey, but they have robot staff and very clean modern decor. We might come back to try out their combo KBBQ since our a la carte came out to be about $100, which is similar to some of their lowest KBBQ options. Overall, it was a nice place.

My family and I walked into Hodori on a Saturday afternoon, and it was practically empty! It doesn't look like it from the outside, but the inside of the restaurant was spacious, clean, and decorated nicely. We didn't want KBBQ, but opted for some of their a la carte dishes. My partner ordered the bibimbap, me the sulungtang, and the tteok manduguk for our kid. My partner also ordered a Sapporo (only $3 during lunch!).The banchan came and it was the usual fare: kimchi, radish kimchi, bean sprouts, etc. All of it was good and fresh. All the food came out a little while after that, piping hot! Unfortunately the bibimbap was bland, even with my partner dousing it in the hot sauce that was provided. The steak in the rice was also not seasoned well, which was disappointing. The manduguk was really good, with just a taste of ginger. My kid enjoyed the broth and rice cakes! The sulungtang was so comforting and delicious after I added the usual salt and green onions (I asked for more green onions). The beef slices also had great texture! When I was almost done with the broth, I put some kimchi and the juice in it and it completed the meal beautifully for me.They also had a frozen treats menu (all $3 each). My son got a mango melona to enjoy after our meal.I would definitely come back again and try their ganjang gejang and their KBBQ!
