Hill Street Cafe

Though I'm a loyal Burbanker, I've never been to Hill Street Cafe until today -- maybe because I'm a flatlander (as I live west of the freeway). But I decided to take a trip to the fancy part of town and there it was -- a glassy, barn-like diner with an awesome family-style menu. E-Z parking naturally, it's Burbank. Think breakfast pancakes and omelettes, lunchtime burgers and salads, and dinner specials -- that's Hill Street. Super friendly service with big booths. I'm a fry guy and these fries check all the boxes -- hot, crispy, tasty. Hill Street, you have not seen the last of me.

Hill Street Cafe is a great place to catch a bite. Their menu is large and the for is on point. You could enjoy a meal here at any point in the day and leave happy. The service has always been top notch and they really take pride in providing a pleasant experience. The restaurant has a classic feel and is always very clean.I have been coming to this location for many, many years though different owners and actual restaurants. I remember coming here when I was young and it was a Bob's Big Boy. I have always loved the location because I lived close. Hill Street Cafe has kept those memories continue to be made and has never let me down.I will be returning!!Enjoy!!!!

This place is conveniently located in Burbank near Woodbury University . It's clean, with ample parking. The staff is very friendly Food is fresh and tastey and comes out fast highly recommend for breakfast and lunch Great for kids and families

This was my oldest brother's place to go to. It was his favorite place. He brought my parents when he came to visit them. He also brought his coworkers after a long day out on the field or just for meetings. Hill Street Cafe is similar to diners that you are most likely familiar with. It does cater to the older folks but has something for everyone. My bro's go to was their Chinese chicken salad. The salad is huge and very tasty. At one point I would come just to get the salad as well. I've tried a good amount of items on their menu through the many years of coming. Everything is delicious (except breakfast burrito) but my main gravitation is their BLT (add avocado). I guess one simple thing about Hill Street is they have tatter tots. Its simple and for me its almost an automatic win. The service is great, the staff is friendly and I've brought my friends over to introduce them to having a meal with me at Hill Street. I do talk about my bro in memory of him and my father who loved coming here. If you have gotten this far, order the Chili Size. It is not on the menu no more but they will make it for you. Make sure they understood you as well. Last time they made me Chili Fries instead. Hill street is always our go to when it comes to a breakfast spot that never disappoints.My usual go to are the chilaquiles but recently I tried out their waffle, with a side of water tots. The waffle was great but I would recommend getting the fruit or toppings on the side because it ended up making my waffle soggy in the middle. Parking is plentiful as there is a huge lot and there a ton of options for food and drinks to choose from. This is a diner style restaurant, but the serving staff are always attentive and friendly. If you are in the burbank area, this is spot you must try!

Nice place for a casual bite. Good food, good service. Senior over 60 breakfast choices were nice.

Some of the best pancakes that I have had in a long time. I was really impressed with this diner and thought it was a great breakfast. Burbank has a lot of great and famous diners so the fact that this one sticks out in a good way really says just how good this place is. Parking is extremely easy, they have a very large free parking lot attached. Our server Alena was extremely polite and super fast with everything. They have a huge menu filled with all sorts of options and they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I also felt pricing was fair and you get a lot in terms of portion size.For my meal, I chose the Eggs San Francisco, which is basically an egg scramble with bacon and cream cheese, and I also added avocado, which I feel was a great addition. We also ordered the Pancake Combo which came with thick and delicious pancakes that were truly fantastic. I get pancakes often and these were some of the best that I've had in months. Overall a great diner in a really retro and unique setting. They have a lot of different seating options indoors and I definitely plan to be back in the near future to try more items.

This is a very nice cafe to bring your family to. They serve breakfast all day which was nice because I loved their steak and eggs. The food comes out pretty quick too and it's hot. Love the old cafe style seating and vibes. Also very kid friendly.

I pass by this cafe nearly everyday and I finally decided to give them a try. This cafe is a favorite for the locals Tons of indoor seating options! This is a great place to grab a delicious breakfast. I order soft scrabbled eggs, turkey sausage, hash brown, and sour dough toast. Super good! The entire staff is friendly and ready to serve. This cafe has an old school vibe when customer service was expected! The entire staff was amazing! Thank you for your level of service!

Unassuming coffee shop by the hills of Burbank. Great service, and their omelets are better than most coffee shops: thin and juicy! Not thick, fluffy and dry! They don't have too many option, but they got fruit, turkey patty, eggs, and coffee. What more do I need?
