Everything is amazing!Wife and I came for an omakase that is long overdue.This place is affordable, nothing to break your wallet for. I always come when I want fresh fish and a nice atmosphere to eat in. Take your favorite and create some beautiful memories! Definitely one for gastronomy.

WOW one of the best restaurants I've been to in LA, both the food and service was amazing. I ordered the premium sashimi selection, the quality was SO GOOD and it was plated so intricately. The toro garlic toast was also so good it literally melts in your mouth. I also tried a bite of my friend's hato stone pot and it was also so delicious! I like how they have a wide variety of foods on their menu and all of it is made so well! The waitress was also super nice and gave us free miso soup and ice cream :)) The atmosphere was nice and seems good for both girl dates and groups!

Food is unlike other sushi/sashimi places nearby!Their fish selection is unique vs the usual suspects- salmon, tuna, unagi, etc.Most of the fish on the menu - i have never heard of!It was a very unique experience with great attentive service!Try the dassai sake! Ask Jessica for recommendations~Sorry I don't have any photos to share...was preoccupied enjoying the deliciousness!

Came here for date night and LOVED it Hato is easily one of the best sushi spots around! The fish is insanely fresh-- Japan level quality-- and the sushi chefs are the sweetest. You can tell they genuinely take pride in their craft and it shows in every bite. The restaurant is super clean, modern and stylish, making it perfect for any occasion. Whether you're into classic nigiri or specialty rolls, everything is excellent. So happy I found my new sushi spot in Ktown (huge plus that parking is easy)

I thought this place was OK. There isn't anything really special about their sushi quality. I felt like their salmon was actually a little bit lacking and honestly a bit fishy, but their hotate, kanpachi and amaebi was fresh. The $18 Toro garlic bread was honestly a little bit of a letdown because the garlic bread was kind of soggy from the Toro that's sitting on top and I felt that the flavors did not really go too well together. However, the service here is good and the price point is honestly decent especially for LA area. The restaurant vibes are very casual and there's ample parking space in the plaza so if you're looking for or craving sushi on a weekday, this might be an ok spot.

Came here because my bf made a reservation for date night. 1. Toro Garlic Toast - This was the perfect start! Served on crispy toast and topped with caviar, it felt fancy but not over-the-top. The crunch of the toast with the creamy toro was perfection. Highly recommend. 2. Baby Octopus Karage - WOW. This was fried to golden-brown deliciousness, super crispy on the outside but tender and juicy inside. It came with a little green pepper on the side for a kick, which the bf loved and gobbled up. 3. Red Miso Japanese Eggplant - This was given to us on the house. Mid. 4. Supreme Sushi Selection - Just look at this sushi! Each piece was fresh. The fish melted in my mouth, and there was such a good variety.Overall, this place was a total win! The service was attentive, the ambiance was great, and the food was outstanding. Perfect for a special night out or if you just want to treat yourself.

Great experience. Was anxious about parking. There is a small shared lot and we got a spot. Were the only ones in there when we arrived. Very modern vibe, although the outside of the plaza doesn't reflect that. Even the bathroom was remodeled and very clean. We had the spicy tuna rice cakes, the salmon sushi, the toro bowl, and the premium sushi selection. It was all delicious and very fresh. I'm very sensitive to any fishy taste and was hesitate of a couple of the choices but it was all delicious. Walked out very full. Staff was so friendly and kind. Great place for a date night or even just to meet up with friends. You won't be disappointed in the ambiance or food. Meant to take pics but we were too excited to eat!

Found this spot while looking for a sushi dinner spot around 9PM in LA. One of my new favorite LA spots now! Definitely worth and was very good. They even gave us a new menu item to try. We ordered the chirashi and supreme sushi selection. They also gave us all miso soups and it was good because it wasn't as salty as other places. The chirashi had a variety of fishes too including a scallop. I like the variety and their menu selection. Definitely coming back when I'm in LA.

The sushi here is always fresh and made with such care, which is why I keep coming back.However, this time, I noticed that miso soup was charged an extra $3.50 at checkout. Last time, it was served without an extra charge, so when it didn't come this time, I simply asked for one, thinking it had been forgotten. It would have been nice if they had mentioned the additional charge when I ordered.That being said, the sushi was so good that I'll probably come back again. Also, I had the unagi don (though it's not in the picture), and it was delicious as well!
