Such a fun and filling Valentine's Day meal! My companion and I are in LA for the long weekend and wanted to get some KBBQ since K-Town does it well. He chose Hanu for us since they took reservations and are dog-friendly.We arrived in the midafternoon on Valentine's Day (a Friday). To find the restaurant, enter through the main building door and follow the signs. It's an extremely spacious restaurant with ample indoor dining and an outdoor patio (the patio was closed when we came). The majority of the seating is booths with a grill so perfect for any sized party. The restaurant was practically empty which was surprising since KBBQ in K-Town is notorious for long lines. So, if you want your fix I recommend coming here as wait times aren't as long and you can make reservations! Loved how clean it was and how everything is either on your table or delivered speedily. Service was impeccable! We didn't expect the workers to cook and cut the meat for us. We also loved the robots that brought the food out blasting K-Pop. Everyone was kind and accommodating and we loved that our pup could dine with us!First off, we were blown away by how much banchan was provided. Some of the items definitely would be priced as an appetizer or entree at a Korean restaurant. The banchan were all superb and we appreciated the free rice, lettuce, and rice paper. We had the Steamed Egg appetizer which was hot and savory. For meat, my companion and I shared the Honeycomb Fresh Pork Belly and Marinated Pork. Both types of meat were fresh and well-marinated. The salt and other sauces were a great accompaniment making each bite delectable. Quality was good but we agreed it's not as great as other spots. For those in K-Town craving KBBQ, I highly recommend Hanu Korean BBQ for their service, fresh meat, reservation options, and being dog friendly! I don't eat beef and this is my first time having KBBQ in K-Town so my knowledge is limited, but they've surpassed my expectations. Also, super grateful for the massive free parking lot. Thanks for a memorable Valentine's Day meal!

Love their brightly lit signage outside, otherwise this is rather desolate business building. We came as a party of 4 & didn't have to wait on a Thurs. night.Initially we were going to order ala cart but decided on the Combo B meal for $159.99. It came with so much food we ended up taking a few things home.It was fun to be escorted by a Bot who played only 2 songs & delivered our food.Good quality food!

Having read that they have an average of 4.5 stars and also take reservations, my group of 13 decided to give them a try. We came around 8p on a Sunday night, they weren't too busy but our server who took our order, changed and ran off in the middle of it. Fare warning to all: you're better off going to an AYCE. Here, they required you to order a minimum of $35 per person. And although they cook the meat for you, our server was barely turning the meat. At one point, he said "ok, ready" as in the meat was ready to eat and I can clearly see that some of the pieces of marinated short ribs were still red. Definitely disappointed. Meat was mediocre. Spicy crab was just ok. If you're looking for a no wait place, this place is it. Sides and food was ok. They charge you extra if you want more rice paper. Kimchi fried rice that came very last was disappointing, and came in a nonstick squared pan that had no nonstick part left.

We ordered Brisket and beef tongue, which came with some extra sides including a stew, cheese corn, kimchi fried rice and a few little sides. Brisket was standard but tongue was really rubbery. Sadly the kimchi fried rice was flavorless, although looked pretty. The best thing there was the stew.

Wow! The KBBQ meats were so good here!! Everything was perfectly cooked for us. I loved that there was free parking in the back as it could be difficult to find parking in ktown. We ordered the small beef combo for 2 but really it could feed 4. We had leftovers to take home. It comes with a lot of complimentary sides. Service was great! Ambiance is nice and clean. Also I loved the fact that I didn't smell like Korean bbq afterwards!

We opted for Hanu KBBQ because we had a dog and saw based on reviews that this place was dog-friendly! However, once we called, they said that their outdoor patio was closed. Not sure why but maybe because it's winter time? We ended up going because we saw that they had a big parking lot (& free!) so we felt remotely safe to leave our dog in the car. We called ahead and made a reservation like an hour before, but when we saw that they had a free champagne promo. We inquired about it because it was my birthday and my FIL's birthday a week later. They said that it had to be booked at least a day in advance but that they would check to see if it's possible. Really confused why the day in advance notice since it's only a champagne bottle. Anywho, they led us to our seats towards the back. It was really spacious! There was 9 of us so we just separated into 2 tables that were conjoined with a partition in the middle. On the table that I sat with, we ordered the combo B beef/pork. It was the one that could feed 4 people but it was a lot of food! Really decent quality meat. The only disappointing thing is that they don't refill rice paper or japchae. Odd since most other kbbq restaurants do offer free refill. They do refill kimchi, bean sprouts, cucumbers, and fish cake though. Towards the end, they give you kimchi fried rice. I wish the grill they served the fried rice on was something that can lay flat against the grill so it could get the rice nice and crispy but sadly, it sat at a 45 degree angle so the grill couldn't even warm it out. As a surprise, they ended up giving us TWO free birthday champagnes and even choco pie's. They also gave my niece and nephew ice cream for free. The service was amazing, and I would go back just because it was a really great experience!

Highly recommend Hanu KBBQ!My partner and I went on a saturday at around 7:15 pm without a reservation. Luckily we only had to wait like 5 minutes to be seated. There seemed to be a lot of seating so even if there is a wait, I presume it wouldn't be too long. We got Combo A which was SOO worth it. Everyone gets banchan (two types of kimchi, cucumber kimchi, rice paper wraps, sliced sweet daikon, and japchae). On top of that, any Combo order comes with $40 worth of additional dishes. We both really enjoyed the bulgogi the most. The brisket was good as well. The steak was slightly chewy but pretty good. The waiters come by and cook for you which is nice if you aren't familiar with how long to cook the meat. I think for the price, it's an absolute steal!! All the side dishes were sooooo good. We had a good amount of leftovers for the next day. We will definitely be coming again!
