Brought my grandparents to try raw marinated crab for the first time and safe to say that they really enjoyed it! The presentation is incredible with the gold flakes and edible flowers, and the quality is definitely top tier.We ordered the premium marinated crab combo which comes with 5 female soy marinated crabs, soy marinated shrimp (without the heads), and 2 eggs. The large and medium have a mix of male and female crabs. The female crabs have the golden orange egg which is super flavorful! Highly recommend premium if you're eating with 4-5 people. The head didn't have as much crab egg as I was expecting but the flavor was really good. I wish the crab size was just abit bigger but their crabs are shipped directly from Korea so you know you're getting the best in terms of taste quality!Uni was also super fresh with a creamy and sweet taste. The Uni in shell is great if you want to try everything mixed together with rice, but if you want a more deconstructed experience, try the Uni bowl that comes with Uni, shrimp, and eggs egg on the side. The complimentary miso soup was also so delicious, like a crab bisque with broken up crab legs inside. Would definitely come back for a special occasions, and the service was really great too. On the pricier side, but you're paying for the ambiance, quality, and presentation :)

We came here on a Friday for dinner. We got soup, boiled beef, & grilled beef. It was so busy since they had tables of 9 waiting to celebrate there. Service was amazing even though they were so busy. Inside was super clean and nice. Very busy!!We also got the raw crab, not pictured!!

Be prepared for a wait if you wan that raw crab! Our party of 6 came on a Friday night and had to wait well over 2 hours for a table. Although they were quite busy the team came by and took our order maybe an hour and a half into waiting. Perhaps unfair, we thought once we got seated our food would come rather quickly. However this was not the case, our party waited another 30 minutes for our food to come out. Yes the raw crab was creamy and delicious. You even get miso soup and rice for everyone at the table which was nice. The uni was fresh and the salmon was delicious as well. I would recommend the mix rice bowls if you're in a group as they are easy to share. The staff was apologetic to our group but our overall dining experience fell a little short due to the long wait time.

After our trip to Korea, my niece and I wanted raw marinated crab again; Yelp led us to Master Ha and dare I say it was better than the one we had in Korea!! Omg. So good, flavorful, and fresh! The medium was a good size for two gals to share if you are wondering what size to order. It came with crab tofu soup and banchan. The interior appears new and modern. The bathroom even has mouthwash to clear away crab breath, hooray! Service was fine. Left us alone to eat our crab in peace with our gloves, not bothersome. Valet park, it's Koreatown.

Food: everything was so good, and so fresh! You have to try their uni, marinated crabs. The complimentary miso crab soup, tea is amazing to wash down the food with! Who doesn't like free? lol. Service: excellent, if u don't know the menu or what to get they're so helpful and will explain and recommend what's best for you and your group! Ambience: definitely a cute place and it's big with multiple seating inside and out. If I had to visit again I will be going back for sure!

PSA: Do NOT let the wait at Master Ha deter you, it is well worth it! For our first time here, we went with the Marinated Crab Rice Bowl combo and ox bone soup. If you don't care about having the nice photos with the whole crab, I would highly recommend the Marinated Crab Rice Bowl combo instead. It's significantly cheaper and they actually pick out all the meat for you! All you have to do is eat it with the rice and nori they include. This one also has the banchan sides which help balance out the richness of the raw crab. The bone broth was also another surprising pick, absolutely packed with beefy flavor and another good dish which helped refresh you for another helping of the crab! I definitely plan on coming back here with more friends so we can go all out on the crab!

This was recommended by someone I know so this is the first thing we had when we arrive LA. There's a small parking lot but you cannot self park. The businesses blocked it for valet parking only. It cost $3 to park in the lot. We did not know until someone came up to us asking us to pay. Let's talk food! Ordered soy marinate crab medium order. It came with 2 crabs $84.99. We added salmon sashimi $17.99 and also order live uni $44.99. We got a few banchan and bowls of rice on the house. Our server Sean was very attentive. Everything was very delicious and fresh. I personally enjoy the soy marinate crab but my friends not so much. The live uni was so fresh and delicious! I will definitely be coming back when I'm in LA.

Fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented seafood dishes with rich Korean flavors. If you're craving for raw marinated crab this is your place. This place offers both the soy marinated raw crab and the spicy marinated raw crab. Honestly from a personal standpoint I prefer the spicy marinated crab but fought my innate temptation and ordered the soy marinated version (don't regret it but definitely a second trip is a must). The crab was very meaty and perfectly marinated with onion/jalapeño soaked soy sauce. The final masterpiece was topped with bright orange ikura, leafy greens and purple veggies to complete a rainbow look. The crab was packed with orange roe and was delicious served alone (straight out of the crab shell), wrapped in seaweed, or mixed with rice straight from the crab shell. Of course we couldn't neglect the uni bowl. Ordered the smaller of the two which still came with three shells. Again such a beautiful dish with a rainbow of colors that were just too perfect to eat. This dish was served straight from the uni shell (spikes intact). At the bottom was seasoned rice topped with a middle layer of rich uni, and above it was flowered with orange/green roe, ikura, and raw quail eggs. Sooooooo phenomenal. I could have just sat and ate this all night.Overall such an amazing experience. Coming back for the spicy marinated raw crab and of course must have the uni bowl again as well.

Waited more than an hour for dinner on a Saturday evening at 7p the week before Christmas for a party of 2. By the time we were seated, they were all out of uni, unfortunately. Still, we were thoroughly impressed by everything we tried. Raw marinated crab - we opted for the peeled version to save ourselves the inconvenience of having to pick through the crab shells themselves. It was gushy and soy saucy and went very well with the sesame oil-and-furikake-perfumed rice. I would have been happy to have a whole bowl of that rice to myself. Ox Bone soup w/ brisket - theirs is probably the best ox bone soup I've ever had. The broth was super milky and creamy. Once the salt was added tableside, its flavor was amplified dramatically. It was so comforting, the best dish to warm the soul from a cold night out. I also loved the banchan. The fresh kimchi was subtly sweet and the marinated perilla leaf was so unique. The wait was totally worth it and I'm salivating until I can return again.
