Honestly for the lunch price point of $20 I can't really say much negative. The bar and buffet are really nice to get what you want without having to go through service. Unfortunately I have to dock points because several items at the bar and buffet were out for longer than I'd expect and the quality died down pretty fast on the hot buffet items. Felt like there wasn't enough heat.Aside from that, solid experience and solid meats. My go to bite was a beef belly taco with corn cheese, which was really easy to stock up on because of the bar.

I found Gui Gui 9292 on Instagram and was immediately intrigued by their lunch and dinner specials. Korean barbecue often costs upwards of $40 these days, so I'm usually hesitant about going unless I'm really craving it. However, this place offered a $25.99 dinner special with tons of options, which caught my attention right away.Their setup is fantastic: the server brings some cuts of meat to your table, but they also have a self-serve meat bar where you can grab as much (or as little) as you want. In addition to the meats, they have an amazing selection of sides--glass noodles, tteokbokki, fish cakes, and more. I was so excited to see rice paper, which I love, and I kept going back for more. The staff was super helpful and accommodating whenever I needed anything.Speaking of the staff, they were incredible! Everyone was kind, welcoming, and smiling. Korean barbecue places are often chaotic and understaffed, but that wasn't the case here. We had at least three different servers check on us throughout our meal, and they even came by every 10-15 minutes to change our grill, which I greatly appreciated. We arrived at 4 PM for the dinner special and were seated immediately--no wait, and it wasn't crowded at all. I'd expected it to be packed, but it seems like they're still relatively new. The service was quick and attentive, making the experience even better. As for the food, the cuts of meat were good--nothing premium, but you can't expect the highest quality at this price point. For the value, it was fantastic. This is a perfect spot to bring someone new to Korean barbecue without spending a fortune. They also had tortillas, pico de gallo, and salsa at their bar, so you could make a little taco with your meat. I've only seen one other Korean barbecue place do this, and I absolutely loved it.One tip: their website says the $19.99 lunch special is only available Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 4 PM, but their in-person menu seemed to indicate it's offered every day, including Saturday and Sunday. If you're planning on going, you might want to call and confirm.Overall, I highly recommend Gui Gui 9292! The value is unbeatable, the staff is incredibly sweet, and the experience is just so enjoyable. I'll definitely be back!

We called 3 AYCE place for MLK lunch experience and this was the only place that still have lunch special for normal pricing. We never been here before and the server was kind enough to tell us that meat choice 1 to 6 was order only the rest was serve yourself buffet style! It was awesome because while we wait for the other meat options we can eat the meat that was available. The banchan option have a wide variety from the normal cucumber, kimchi, potato salad / mac salad mix together( taste funky for me), salsa, tortillas, taco sauces ( available on buffet side). There's also fish cake soup, tbebokki that's very runny, fried onion rings that's very popular and tons of ppl like but they ran out fast. Fried rice and chapchae noodles was also acceptable taste. The one problem I have is that not enough servers and table space to put all the food we get. Since server was so busy sometimes our plates was stacked high and we didn't have room to move around much. Pricing: for 20 bucks a person everyone get their fill. Meat eaters get their meat and me the person who can't decided gets a bit of everything myself without bothering others

This place used to be Buga KBBQ, which we really liked a lot, especially their beef belly. It's changed ownership and been renamed. Came here for the first time since the change, for their $19.99 AYCE lunch special. For the money it's a good deal. However, I thought the meats and flavors were just okay. I like that for some of the meats and bon chon items, you can get them yourself at their self serve area. The lunch special price is what brought me in - it's good but not great. I think people will either love it for the value or be just okay because of the quality/taste. It's your own preference on what matters more. Interior hasn't changed much from before. The have a decent amount of tables and decor is good. Only complaint is that the music was loud when we went in, which made it difficult to talk/hear each other. So for $19.99 I think it's worth it to try, then decide for yourself if it's worth coming back.

Cheap. Normally you get what you pay but the meat quality was just bad. The side and fried stuff all tasted old and refried and I felt like if I ate too much I'd get sick.Oily, low quality meat. Sorry

This is for our lunch around 3pm. We were looking for places to eat and I was trying to find a place that isn't too expensive but good amount of food. After yelping several places, this was new and replaced a previous cheap AYCE kbbq place I've been. Once we entered I immediately realized it's completely different. There is a self service station for meat and appetizers. The lunch deal price is 19.99$ with limited meat options than the usual dinner menus and there's a dinner deal priced at 24.99$. The only downside is that since it's a lot of self service, we didn't really interact with any of the servers and had to really get their attention if we wanted to water or the check. We got to order with a server the meats not in self service at the beginning but then given how hard it is to get their attention we just kept with self serving meat options. I think we asked for water refill three times and finally got it. We had fun eating some creative dishes we mixed together though, making tteokbokki with cheese and bulgogi fries, etc. the corn cheese was good, but the fries were stale unfortunately. They didn't replenish some of the appetizers or fries even after we left. When we asked for the check, they were a bit rushed. We didn't even ask if there was desert because it was transitioning to dinner time so we just left and by the time we remembered, we just went to Rite Aid for our thrifty ice cream. Bathroom is clean, not unisex even though they have a sign showing unisex restrooms. They are separated by gender and stalls inside.

Got sat down pretty fast on a Sunday night. Kept trying to make eye contact with the servers because no one has approached us after being sat down. Took 15 mins to get someone's attention and for them to bring us our initial water, glasses, tongs, and our first round. The place was packed, but I saw a lot of tables that were also waiting on service. Food was solid, the bar was pretty convenient and provided an array of dishes. We got the B menu and I especially loved the marinated galbi. Overall, it was ok, needed more servers though.

Cutting straight to the chase - EVERY DAY $20 AYCE from 11-4:30 and I believe $25.99 for Dinner every day as well. These prices are pretty much a miracle in these times. So I don't know how long they'll keep up this special, but take advantage of it in the meantime. For 20 bucks, they have a relatively extensive menu of meats. Only meats to order are beef belly, brisket, and thin pork belly, and the rest are at the bar which is actually a decent selection and meat you'd actually want to order instead of some filler stuff. If you or your group are looking for volume, this is definitely the spot because I've definitely gone to places with a way higher charge and worse meats.Their bar of side items is mostly a miss for me, things like the French fries, onion rings, even chicken nuggets.Service is a little slow, but understandable seeing the almost full house during lunch time on a weekend and people checking out the place, but it was sometimes hard to call a server as they seemed occupied with stuff and did not check on the tables very often.

Just had an amazing feast at Gui Gui 9292, and I'm still dreaming about it! From the self-serve meat and side stations to the top-tier quality of the cuts, this spot truly hits different. AYCE Lunch starting at just $19.99 and Dinner at $25.99 -- super affordable! The self-serve station made it so easy to grab everything I wanted (yes, I went back for seconds... or thirds). The staff was also super attentive, making sure we got many grill changes and checking if we needed anything. Check out Gui Gui for your KBBQ AYCE cravings!

Such an affordable and fun place to eat at. The dinner special is 25.99 and has so many options to choose from. The service was amazing. And the location is very easy to find. The place itself is big and doesn't get too hot. I've been to some other Korean bbq and the grill makes it really hot and smoky, but the smoke was not so bad here.
