Ahh such a good experience here! Celebrated a friend's birthday and the skewers were sooo good! The servers were attentive and there was a lot of space to enjoy a late night dinner. We got the Gui Dan Dan Noodles & Scallion Oil Noodles - both were really good! I liked the scallion one best! In terms of skewers, I really enjoyed the ones we ordered: Premium Beef, Pork Jowl, Fish Tofu, Pork Belly, and Shrimp!

I had an amazing experience at GUI BBQ, and a big part of that was thanks to our server, Stephanie. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The service was quick, and they offered great recommendations that really elevated our meal. I really appreciated their positive attitude and professionalism throughout the meal. Definitely looking forward to coming back!Atmosphere is very laid back and fun with the big tv screen playing the most current K-pop songs.

This is a cool spot!! It was such a neat dining experience. You pick whatever foods you want and the contraption/BBQ pit in the middle does all the work for you! I think I ate about 15 skewers and paid about $30. The vibe felt like I was in Asia again. The booths are nice and wide/big. Servers are really nice and helpful. Definitely worth a visit!Side note: the parking structure is a nice way to get covered parking and there's a walkway directly to the restaurant!

Delicious and flavorful skewers!I've been wanting to try Gui BBQ for a while, but there is always a long wait. I finally decided to give it a try and joined the Yelp waitlist. On a Friday night for dinner, it was about an hour wait. Once we were seated, we ordered right away, and the food came out pretty quickly. We also had complimentary peanuts to start, and they were so good! I usually don't care for peanuts, but these had a spicy kick and delicious seasoning. For skewers, we tried the premium beef, mala premium beef, marinated lamb, and sausage skewers.The man who brought out the skewers helped us set it up and explained the meats to us. My favorites were the premium beef and marinated lamb! They were meaty and not too fatty nor gamey. They were also pretty flavorful, so I enjoyed them.We also tried the chicken wings, sweet corn, dan dan noodles, cucumber salad, and fried rice.Honestly, all of it was pretty good, and there wasn't anything I disliked. I just didn't care too much for the Chinese sausage and probably wouldn't get that again.Ambiance was casual and a bit loud. They serve alcoholic drinks there including beer, so it's a good spot for a casual group of friends.

If you're looking for a party place with a quiet room, I highly recommend this place. They have separate rooms with very affording minimum charge. They have a large selection of skewers in various meats and vegetables. The best part about this BBQ is, the skewers are automated! They have a mechanism to allow the skewers to continously turn so you can have bbq while still chatting with your friends, I highly recommend. They have various seasoning and sauces as well, make sure you ask about it.They also have a good selection of cooked items and drinks. Located on the second floor and plenty of parking.

Compared to other skewer places I've been to, I would say that this place is very solid place, but there isn't anything too special about it. I would say it is worth a try for the experience. However, personally, I don't think I would want to come back as there wasn't anything that stoodout about it. My friends and co-workers highly recommended this place so I gave it a shot. It is located on the 2nd floor of a plaza and the entrance is quite grand and very hard to miss. There are plenty of tables, so there wasn't a wait when I went. The service is very fast, and everything came out without any issues. As it is a skewer place, you do have to wait for the meats to cook, which is fine. There isn't anything too special about the meats, what stands out is that they use charcoal to cook the meats which according to my friends makes the skewers taste better than the other places. But, between you and me, it is about the same.

10/08/24 Solid 3.5 stars! This was my first time at a Chinese Skewer restaurant- think yakitori style. Skewers of raw meat cooked on an open flame. We were here for a business dinner so sadly the camera couldn't eat first as much as I would have liked to have shared.The menu is incredibly huge for a bbq skewers restaurant. We ordered a bunch of different meat skewers to try and grabbed some appetizers too! Service was spotty. Towards the end of our Tuesday meal, getting the check was a bit of a wait. Maybe an off night. I'd be back if in town with the family. The wagyu and chicken cartilage was memorable. Oh and their seasoned peanuts! Yummm.

I had a great time here with my friends. The food was very good and they're able to accommodate large parties because of how much seating they have. I also like how they cook the skewers for you and how quick their service is.
