I've frequented GW on Melrose & Larchmont many times and have always have had great experiences. I really enjoy their poke bowl and they make a nice breakfast sandwich. They use very nice bread, and offer a good selection of wines. The only time I've been disappointed was when I ordered a fish fry once which was rather disappointing, but apart from that one time I've always had excellent breakfast. Brunch, and lunch there. High marks for ambience and environmental details.I highly recommend downloading their mobile app where you will find significant discount & loyalty point opportunities.

The restaurant is beautiful. There is an episode on Seinfeld where Jerry tries to help the restaurant on his street. The restaurant doesn't seem to know what it wants to be. We had dinner here. But what does it want to be, is exactly how I would describe Great White. It's a weird mix of choices. -a fish taco or pasta bolognese, a poke bowel or funky fried mushrooms. As a result the food tastes blah. All it was missing was Mac and cheese and it could be a Dennys. They should just get rid of the bar. They serve mini martinis. And the selection is about 5 to choose from. They use a smoked olive and it's not a great taste. Maybe they use it to distract that they only use 1/2 an ounce of gin or vodka. No one wants to get drunk k, but $12.00 is a lot of money for a funky olive. The wine selection is awful. On a high note, the bread pudding was delicious. Maybe brunch is better. It feels like too many people had an opinion about what this place should be and used everyone's idea. Who wants a mini martini? The wines were odd. White, red (which they serve chilled) and Orange. It's a shame since it is so beautiful and could be a romantic spot.

The food here is solid. Nothing wow worthy or necessary to go out of your way for. It's a great place to share food, and a good vibe, lots of people watching, whether for brunch or dinner. Servers are nice and attentive. They also accept inkind which is good to get a discount. Food wise, I recommend the mushroom fries and the marg pizza. I also enjoy the chicken sandwich and the burger. For brunch, the breakfast burrito is solid but add avocado. They have several other locations which offer the same menu.

My new favorite brunch spot on Melrose! Important to note that brunch is first come first serve, so there are no reservations available. I arrived around 10:50am on a Sunday morning and I was seated immediately. I was quite surprised, but turns out it gets very busy around 11am, so make sure you arrive early or you'll be waiting to be seated for a while. The food is delicious! I tried the Blue Smoothie Bowl and loved it -- this is the perfect way to begin your morning with berries, granola, and blue algae! You can add additional toppings such as almond butter or honey, too. I also ordered the breakfast burrito that comes with scrambled eggs, Oaxaca cheese, bacon, tater tots, salsa, and a delicious chipotle aioli. The burrito was crunchy and absolutely yummy! Service is quite fast and our server was kind and willing to answer any questions we had. The restaurant is spacious and there's even a small room for private dining. The location is charming but parking is tricky to find, so be sure to arrive before the crowd or look for parking on side streets.

This place is a whole vibe, definitely the kind of place you'd probably see an influencer or celebrity dining in as well.I really liked the ambiance. I feel like some of the tables and chairs were a little close to each other but it felt open and bright when seated. Our server was nice, and everything arrived to the table together.I ordered the smoked salmon pizza and it was literally like a lox bagel but in pizza form! It was delicious and the crust was perfect. I'd come back to try some of their other stuff because everyone else ordered something different and they all enjoyed their food as well. I had ordered a drink as well but I cant remember what it was called but it was some kind of yuzu drink and it was more tart than I would've liked. It felt like drinking unsweetened lemonade, not really sweet enough to balance the acidity.

I had a great experience at Great White, loving the atmosphere and the fantastic avocado toast. Although there were a few minor setbacks, including the taste of the unfiltered water, an overcooked egg, and lukewarm tea, these didn't overshadow the positives. The restaurant was clearly busy, which likely contributed to the inconsistent service (no fault of our server Billy). I'm eager to try other dishes and plan to visit again.

My partner and I just happen to stumble upon this spot while waiting in line at Verve coffee for the Sabrina Carpenter event. We noticed as we walked by that their food look so delicious and we knew that we had to try Great White out before we left! The ambiance is honestly really nice. The restaurant has this low light vibe when it's dark outside and it's honestly really cool. If you have trouble seeing, it may not be to your liking since it's a bit dark, but it's still quite enjoyable. Our waitress was super sweet! I was having trouble selecting a drink and she went out of her way to ask what I like to drink. I mentioned that I really only like sweet cocktails and she recommended that we try one of their soda spritz mixed in with any kind of liquor which is exactly what I did! I honestly forgot the name of the soda spritz but it was so good! My partner got the strawberry yuzu cocktail spirit which he enjoyed so much and actually ordered twice more! For our entrees, I got the bolognese pasta and my partner got the shrimp pasta! Ugh they were so tasty, we literally just swallowed our pastas like a vacuum. We both were literally just like Kirby haha. For dessert, we ordered the sourdough bread pudding! We love bread budding with a passion so we just had to get theirs. It was really good! I'm just not the biggest fan of raisins which they had in there, but other than that it was very delicious! I definitely recommend Great White for a new spot to try out!

Great White is one of the most popular brunch spots in LA!Known for its all-day brunch menu, Great White is impeccable for their quality of food and LA ambiance where you might catch your favorite celebs/influencers. We started our brunch off with lattes and they were extremely refreshing. For our courses, we ordered the hotcakes with berries, ceviche, salmon, and truffle fungi pizza. The hotcakes were not too sweet and were an irresistable blend of fruity tang. All of the other items we ordered were seasoned to perfection and served hot and ready. The ceviche with taro chips was so fresh. The beautiful presentation of each plate and ambiance of the outdoor patio makes the whole dining experience one to remember. Great White is one of my favs!

Food was awesome! I tried the breakfast burrito, market salad, and banana bread. The market salad was my fav, very unique flavor combo. You can't go wrong with the breakfast curry to The ambience is lovely, a semi-patio deal. Great coastal decor and great service.
