An absolute gem of a place!! I had a large party to celebrate my husbands birthday and we were able to enjoy the back patio which was covered and well heated. Edgar, was super quick to reply to all emails and was at the restaurant during the party and was super kind. We did a bunch of appetizers and all of them we delicious... hard to pick a favorite, but the meatballs and the sliders were top notch! We are planning on another birthday celebration soon!The food, cocktails and the service at Gray Tavern are impeccable.

GF and I went back 12/06/24. Food was great! Both the lasagna and petite filet were delicious. Will definitely be ordering either one again and again. And music was right, matching the environment and what I'd expect. Wasn't my kind of music, but I don't expect every place to play my kind of music. I expect the playlist to match the overall feeling they're going for, to match the vibe of the joint. This time it did, which made the whole experience much better than last time! Amazing to me how many bar / restaurant owners don't understand how important lighting and music is to the overall experience. Gray's got it right for sure! And a killer back patio to boot!

Menu rehauled with lots new that's thankfully not the same gastropub dishes you see everywhere!Cheese Fondue - Nervous it would be simple and heavy/greasy, but holy cow it's way better! Uncscious and cozy, but balanced.Meatballs - No complaints. Tender, well seasoned, with light herb and spice. Well done and comforting homey vibes, if not groundbreaking. Curious if it could be jazzed up/more unique.Tartare Quartet - Love trying a variety of small things! Tomato was deceptively simple until basil cames in and ended on a curious umami note I can't peg. Beef is balanced by cornichons. Tuna has mango and truffle, which is not overdone. Mushroom has big mushroom flavor with melted cheese. An attractive spread with lots of fun, different things to try.Happy to come back and keep exploring the new menu!

Stopped by for a drink on our way home on a Sunday. Decor inside is really nice. The music selection was really good especially if you have a penchant for 80's tunes! The Bart was super friendly and the beer was really good. Will be back.

My friend suggested this place for Happy Hour because it was from 5-7PM. But we learned when we got there that we could not sit at the outside tables, we had to sit at the bar in order to enjoy Happy Hour. Strike 1! Also parking was a pain in the butt because it was right off of Ventura and was only meters. The staff, however, was very nice and accommodating. When we made our way to the outside after sitting uncomfortably at the bar, we ordered a flatbread and another round of drinks. Flatbread was good, but drinks were super sweet. Overall an alright place.

I popped into Gray Tavern on a Sunday, looking for a chill spot to grab a bite, a drink, and soak in the vibes. We were in luck--it was Happy Hour, so we decided to try a few things.We ordered three items from the Happy Hour menu, along with two cocktails: the GoldenBoy and the HotShot Margarita. Both drinks hit the spot--the GoldenBoy had a smooth, golden sweetness with just the right kick, while the HotShot Margarita packed a spicy punch that balanced the citrusy tang perfectly.For food, all three Happy Hour bites didn't disappoint. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and well-portioned for sharing. We couldn't resist adding an order of Wagyu sliders from the main menu, and they were hands-down the highlight. Juicy, tender, and bursting with rich flavor, the sliders were cooked to perfection.Overall, the vibe was relaxed yet lively--a great spot for a laid-back Sunday outing. If you're in the area during Happy Hour, it's definitely worth stopping in for a good time and some delicious bites.Ps A special thanks to Edgar for his hospitality. His new management of the Grey Tavern is going to be awesome--he really knows how to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.

Great drinks and great food! Love the outdoor patio vibes too. I came here with a girlfriend for some drinks and food and was super impressed. Our waitress Sydney was SO friendly and provided great service. We ordered french fries, wings, and shrimp tacos. The food was so good! The shrimp in the tacos was juicy and cooked well. Also loved the guac on top. The wings were not your typical buffalo wings, they were almost sweet and spicy. I really enjoyed them. Fries were great to share as the portion was pretty large. I would come back here just for drinks and vibes. On a weekday evening is was super chill, but I have seen it get busy on weekends. I am definitely going to make this my new spot to grab drinks with friends. I am looking forward to coming back and trying more of their food!

Went to the grand reopening of this bar and I have high hopes for this place. The bar manager Sydney - who was really nice said they were under a new owner and he's made some great changes so far. I love the vibes of this place. It has a nice ambiance and outdoor seating. I tried the Passionfruit marg-tini that was good and the salsa they have with the chips was really good too. We tried little bites of things during the reopening but not sure which items were on their actual menu. But I'll definitely be back.

Great place , great ambience, amazing food, and customer service. If you haven't been to this place, I highly recommend they have some amazing drinks and every Wednesday night is a jazz night. If you are a jazz lover, you would definitely love this place. Highly recommend.
