This is the fourth Thai place I've tried since moving to the valley and I think I've finally found a good place. Placed a pickup order from their website. Ordered yellow curry, Thai fried rice, a large side of white rice, and a roti. The food had good flavor and the portion sizes were typical. Prices feel a bit high, but everything is more expensive compared to 2019. There is a tight parking lot in the back, but there were a couple spaces when I got there. The website estimated pickup time was 30 minutes but it ended up being more like 45 minutes, so you might want to call to confirm timing. I'll definitely order again and try some more things off the menu as well as go up a notch on the spice levels.

I'm contemplating whether to return or not. I ordered two dishes and had one but had to reclean the shrimp when I got home and strain the oyster sauce to be sure residual shrimp discharge did not enter my zone. Reheating to add a layer yet. If I was feeling up to it, I may have retuned to have a private chat. HOWEVER... eating shellfish out is always a risk but extreme enough this time to warrant a forewarning. This review is a cautionary that this experience could have been avoided by the staff thoroughly knowing how... or knowing how to thoroughly... I'm sure there are tricks of the trade. At home, I buy cleaned shrimp and still go through the process to ensure completely clean critters before cooking begins. I wholeheartedly support mom and pops, but appreciate CCF right about now. I'm sure I'm not the first to share the experience... I may be the first to say it. I always wondered how this place always had excellent reviews but was always empty... it's starting to make a little sense? People usually review their first visit... perhaps don't return, ... I'm not sure... respond with your theory. I don't think I'd dine in. The residual smells lingered in the air. The back area looked sketch. Gramma looked chill while seriously guarding traffic from trespassing the back area.To end on a positive note, the ingredients look good quality, the flavors were good, and the fish tank water looked clean.

I moved to the area in 2015, from Lil Thailand in Hollywood. Grandma's was the first Thai spot I tried and I am so glad I did. I've tried a few over the years, but, grandma's is the best in the valley hands down.A family owned spot, that they make you feel as you are old friends and a close friend of the family.

I'm new to the neighborhood and I was looking for a good Thai spot and I was going to try different places, but I keep going back to grandma's Thai cuisine! The pumpkin curry with pork, papaya salad, spicy eggplant, and glass noodles are my go to's but I'm sure the rest of the food is good based on quality I've experienced. Prices are decent, I get the papaya salad with an entrée and it 32 bucks.

I was craving wonton soup and pad see ew and wow this spot nailed it. I ordered delivery and requested the veggies and some other stuff to be on the side for the soup. My friend said no one reads those requests. Well what do you know. This spot did. I know it can be an extra step so I really appreciated that they did that for me. Top it off with the soup being so good. What a great experience! I'll be a regular from here on out :)
