MUST TRY AYCE KBBQ in Garden Grove!!This is hands down one of the better kbbqs I've had in a long time for it being ayce. Came with a large group of friends during the weekend and it definitely satisfied my cravings.The meat quality is on par with other ayce kbbqs I've had, and I recommend getting their second tier option to get the premium meats. One thing that really stood out to me was their cilantro salad. I am a cilantro girlie through and through and this single handedly made me give this place 5 stars because of how good it paired with the food.Banchan selection was also amazing, and their sauce selection was quite unique! They had this kimchi dry rub that you could add to your sauce or on the meat and it was super yummy, it do be crack. Service was super quick and attentive, and they changed our grills multiple times. I would definitely come back here again if I'm ever in the are and I'm craving kbbq.

Grams BBQ is one of OC's best premium high quality AYCE kbbq spots! This spot is located in the plaza right across from where Hmart is and there are a good amount of parking spots. They have a waitlist on Yelp, so I would definitely recommend planning accordingly to put your name down. Inside, they have a nice modern spacious setup with an upbeat ambiance. For their menu, they have three different options to choose from with different price points. I stopped by for dinner with wifey and some family and we opted for the menu B which was $38.99. We ordered the Brisket, Beef Belly, Pork Jowl, Top Sirloin Cap-Picanha, Marinated Finger Ribs, Marinated LA Galbi, and the Wagyu Eye Round. Overall, everything that we had was high quality and delicious! All of the staff here are very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. There is a reason why this spot has over 1,000+ positive reviews!

My hubs and I go to Grams when we want QUALITY and QUANTITY. We always order the most expensive combo that comes with boneless short ribs -marinated and unmarinated. This combo comes with rib-eye and the Woori galbi as well as several other premium meats that I can't remember because we usually focus on the short ribs and the Woori galbi.We were really surprised that the marinated boneless short ribs is SO DELICIOUS. It is NOT too sweet or salty, but seasoned JUST RIGHT to give it a nice charred taste. This is our favorite at Grams which is surprising because most places over marinate with too much sugar or soy sauce that makes any marinated meats taste too... too something that overloads my taste buds. But GRAMS marinated boneless short ribs is subtle and well-balanced so that the taste of the beef comes through. We order plates and plates of this.And of course the unmarinated boneless short ribs are amazing. The marbling on these premiums cuts are to die for and we can't get enough of this as well. Well... actually, we can get enough... it is so buttery and rich that it makes us kind of dizzy when we get to a certain point. LOL.The sides you can order for this combo are good. I always ask for sliced jalapeño peppers with ssamjang (red pepper paste), along with the salad with no dressing. This way, I can enjoy my premium bbq like my mom and dad used to enjoy it at home - galbi with rice, lettuce, ssamjang - for that perfect bite. The soy bean soup is also very good.Tip: If you go with the Premium combo, don't waste your stomach space on the brisket or anything less than the boneless short ribs and other premium meats. Go elsewhere if you want the brisket. Come to Grams if you AYCE PREMIUM meats.

My friends wanted me to try Grams BBQ, and it didn't disappoint! We arrived and put our names down on the waitlist, with an estimated wait time of about an hour. Luckily, the parking lot is spacious, so finding a spot wasn't an issue, though I can see it filling up quickly during peak hours. To pass the time, we walked to a nearby bakery and grabbed some cream puffs.The wait ended up being shorter than expected, and we were seated in under an hour. Our server was friendly and welcoming, setting the tone for a great dining experience.Grams BBQ has a tiered menu system based on how much you're willing to spend, with higher-priced options unlocking premium cuts of meat. Since we were dining on a budget, we opted for their base menu, and it didn't feel like we missed out at all. There was a wide selection of meats, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious!The banchan (side dishes) were another highlight. They offered a generous variety, and every single one was flavorful and fresh. Combined with the high-quality meats, it's no surprise this place has quickly become one of my favorite KBBQ spots.To top it all off, our server gave us complimentary Sriracha almond packets to take home--a fun little touch that showed their attention to detail and effort to make the experience special.Overall, I had a fantastic time at Grams BBQ and would definitely return. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious KBBQ with great service and a welcoming atmosphere!

very long waits on the weekend! make sure to join the yelp waitlist and maybe walk around h mart across the street lolinside is actually quite small, the floors are a bit slippery, just keep that in mindgot set A and it was good! wanted mostly for the wagyu meats although the beef belly was very, very fatty. just not my preference! their seasoned short rib is delicious so be sure to try that! and their silky egg pudding :)stars knocked off due to service, everyone here looked like they hated their job and it was difficult to get orders in. our waitress was not very attentive and would roll her eyes. during the grill change, food was knocked all over the place.. she forgot our orders multiple times and honestly killed our mood

Went at the recommendation of a friend. We were 1 of 3 groups there before they closed ahead of dinner service so the wait staff was very attentive and friendly - especially when we had a 10 month old. Food was delicious and not overly greasy. I think my favorite was the brisket and beef tongue. They also had a great selection of Soju to choose from. Would definitely return when I'm back home.

Grams is a great kbbq spot with unique cuts. I've been at least twice now and have tried both their premium menu and their middle (B) menu. I think premium is the way to go especially if you're going to celebrate something. The choices are just too good. It's got bone-on galbi, American wagyu cuts, and Prime cuts of meat. Even in the B menu they have beef tongue, pork skin, heart, pork jowl, etc which are not as common in other typical kbbqs. The sides are great with garlic rice, kimchi pancakes, cold noodles and more. On the side they even have this kimchi seasoning which I didn't use but my partner really liked. There was this salty chili vinegar sauce I wasn't familiar with too which seems to be made in house. It's a bit of a smaller restaurant so during busy time you may have to wait. But on a weekend at 2pm I had no wait which was great. Service was good and they check up often.

I was so excited to come back here after having such a great experience the first time, but unfortunately, this visit didn't live up to my expectations. We arrived relatively early, around 5 PM on the weekend, to avoid a long wait and were seated after a short while.The first person who greeted us and took our order seemed very monotone, unwelcoming, and lacked any sort of friendliness. It felt like I was inconveniencing them just by placing my order. After that, we didn't see them for the rest of the night. While the rest of the staff was attentive, the initial interaction set a negative tone for the evening and made me feel unwelcome.The quality of the meat also wasn't as good as I remembered from my first visit, which was disappointing. That said, I still really enjoy the steamed egg and the variety of sides they offer. However, this experience left me underwhelmed, and with so many other great KBBQ spots to try, I'm not sure if I'll be coming back.

Overall, I would say the meat quality is decent. The meats were all tender. The sauces were lacking and I felt like the dipping sauce needed more salt, which in turn made the non marinated meats taste a bit bland. Service was average. The servers working seemed unwelcoming and felt as if it was a chore to serve us. Seems like this is a common occurrence based on other reviews. Additionally, they charged my card twice when my friend and I did a split check and we each signed off on a receipt. I had to call into the restaurant to get it sorted out and they were helpful, hence the 4/5 rating instead of a 3. I would recommend trying it once but I wouldn't come back since there are other kbbq places that are way better.

The service was amazing. They came back and check on us very often to see if we need more meat. I love the servers! They were all very friendly and we went on a Tuesday night on 11/19. They were really helpful with what to order because we have never been here before and all her recommendations were amazing!!! Much thanks to the staff. I love the boneless short ribs for suree! They have the wagyu options but if you cook the short ribs around medium, its the perfect bite size meat thats so soft when you bite it! The steam egg was definitely good. I'd say they did it the japanese style, chawanmushi. Another must order! They had boxes of kimchi snacks for customers as long as we want it or like the snack! I don't think they do it often so I got lucky. I want to thank the owner for that because the chips were delicious. I really loved it. Will come back again whenever I want kbbq ayce.
