Good Neighbor Restaurant

First time visitors to this restaurant and we loved it! Upon entering location, one instantly feels as though they have stepped back in time. There are many pictures of Hollywood stars of yesteryear hanging throughout the restaurants. Tables are avail for seat two to four guests and no booths which I loved for some reason. The restaurant definitely has an older vibe to it but in a very nostalgic kind of way. The service here was top-notch as everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming, hard-working and attentive. The food was EXCELLENT!! We had the honey hotcakes, French toast, turkey bacon and scrambled eggs and everything was cooked to perfection, very tasty and fresh. Everything about this dining experience was positive

Very good shrimp salad with thousand island sauce. Atmosphere is great you are an a great American Diner.

This diner nails the classic old-school vibe with a touch of Hollywood. It felt more like a cozy Midwest spot than LA, which added to its charm. We tried the premium breakfast burrito and the good neighbor special combo with blueberry pancakes, and both were solid diner staples. Service was friendly and quick, though the prices seemed a bit steep for the meal. Overall, a nice local stop for a casual brunch.

The food was awesome and tasty, and the service was excellent. I ordered online and it was ready quickly and packed well to take out. My omelet was amazing! We will eat there again soon!

Classic family diner with quick, attentive service and the most insane breakfast potatoes. Ask for them extra crispy and you'll leave not a morsel on the plate. Excellent service from Sam who makes for pleasant morning conversation and takes much pride in his work.

A delicious diner in the valley. It's one of the better diners in the area which is already full of great and historic diners. It feels like you are eating in someone's home. I would classify this place as a classic country style diner. The sort of place where locals lineup to have their daily meal and there is always a revolving board of specials. They have a fairly large menu with a ton of options on it and service is very fast. Our waiter was also really polite and we were checked in on many times by many different employees. They have a small parking lot attached to the front of the restaurant, otherwise it will be free street parking in the neighborhood behind.As mentioned, the menu is pretty large so it took me a minute to decide which dish I wanted to order. I ended up choosing the Eggs Alla Fisdale because Eggs Benedict is my favorite breakfast dish. This one is unique because they use a cheddar cheese sauce, which basically tasted like a cheesy hollandaise. It was honestly delicious and really made the meal. The eggs were cooked perfectly and I loved it. We also split a Banana Pudding for dessert and it was good but nothing special. We ordered some Caramel Lattes to begin our meal, and they were very tasty and strong. I would recommend them.Overall a delicious diner with fair pricing and free parking. I would recommend to anyone searching for a great breakfast option in the valley.

Some diners try to recreate that classic lived in homey vibe but this place just has that magic already built in. Amazing feel, kind and attentive service, and delicious classic food. The coffee is A+ and there is a coffee shop attached next door with great treats.

Must go!We stopped here for brunch before heading home from a trip to Universal Studios and were so happy with our experience!The staff is so friendly, and the food absolutely delicious! We ordered 3 breakfast dishes, an apple pancake and a the Cahuenga Special (1/2 sando + soup or salad).For breakfast, the bacon and eggs were cooked to perfection and the potatoes, ohhhhh my the potatoes! These potatoes are perfection... crispy outside and light fluffy insides, these are up there with the best potatoes I've ever had and are definitely the best breakfast potatoes I have ever had!! You must order these!All in all, such a nice experience, great food, cute ambience, and wonderful staff.... Be sure to eat here!!

Had a great family breakfast experience. Was able to drop in on a Sunday morning with a party of 6. Very welcoming staff and quaint ambiance. The food was amazing and our waitress was very attentive.
