Gogobop - Korean Rice Bar

Best service and food ever!!I work close-by part time and this is my go-to spot for a pre-dinner shift lunch. It's comfortable how I can eat inside and not have to take it togo all the time.I forget to ask for their names... the girl wearing a tag that said "shift lead" with two star stickers on the cap and the tall blonde guy that's always there when I go are awesome :) very helpful and nice

PARKING: I walked here but there's a lot or two near here. SEATING: Plenty of seating but it does go fast. Lots of students and people working nearby that fill up this place during a lunch rush. There's seating inside and outside! Very fun to people watch. SERVICE: Although it was busy, the staff members were not rushing me with my order. It's like a Korean Chipotle basically. They label everything for you and they're happy to take any questions you have about the food.FOOD: The BYOB bowl came around to 14$ which wasn't too bad as I got two meals out of this. The beef I got was tender and flavorful. The toppings along with the sauces were very fresh and complimentary with the meats. Definitely a great place to eat at for a quick option. OVERALL: Extremely pleased I live by such a great restaurant that offers delicious and reasonably priced food! I can't wait to come back!

One of our family favorites! Used to frequent this location at least once a week when we worked near UCLA.We describe it as quick Korean Chipotle, but better! Pick your base, protein, and toppings.Our go to order consists of Korean purple rice topped with sesame oil, EXTRA japchae (our absolute favorite, would buy a bowl alone if possible?!), seasoned pork belly, and fermented kimchi! The gochujang mayo is a MUST. Best part, the servings are huge and can feed me 2-3 meals! Service is always amazing, the workers are nice, patient, and helpful. Although we live far now, whenever in Santa Monica we always stop buy to pick up some bowls. Hoping a location opens up closer to the SGV!

An event at work recently catered gogobop and I will say it stood out as one of the better catering options we have had at the weekly event. The japchae and other bases kept really well, and the flavor of the meat was excellent. I and the other attendees were very satisfied! I found the mix of veggies and meat to blend very well, and while filling the lunch was not too heavy.

What We Ordered: -Triple Scoop $13.95W/Beef Bulgogi $1, Pork Belly $1 and a Fried Egg $2-Hotteok $4Gogobop is unlike anything I've had before. It really hit the spot. When a friend recommended it as the Chipotle of Korean food. I was instantly intrigued. I love Chipotle and I love Korean food and ordering it like Chipotle sounds freaking awesome! I got half purple Korean rice and the noodles. I did the triple scoop with Beef Bulgogi, Pork Belly and one other meat which I cannot recall. I also got a fried egg. The fried egg was a bit pricy for what it was. You could make you own fried egg at home if you want to save the $2. Just a thought! The Mac salad, corn and the kimchi were all great. Everything taste fresh and great. I love the concept of this place! The ability to pick what goes inside your bowl is an awesome experience. I wish there were more locations. People need to try this! The Hotteok was okay. Not bad! I wouldn't order again!I would definitely come back to Gogobop! I'm looking forward to sharing this place with the wife as she doesn't like chipotle, but she likes Korean food. I think she would really like this concept. Can't wait to come back!

Pardon the pun but you must GO to gogobop. The Korean bowls are delicious, the atmosphere is fun and the location rocks in the center of Westwood.There's a nice amount of seating, as well as a patio.Service was awesome and fast by the friendly staff. I enjoyed making my own custom bowl and finishing it off was even better.Highly recommended.

Gogobop gained a new regular today! Tried this location for the first time today & all I can say is I will definitely be back for more!Today I tried the bulgogi bowl & was not disappointed by portion or flavor. I was shocked by how much they give you along with how flavorful the food is. While every topping is delicious, I think my favorite was the Mac salad topping I'll definitely be getting an extra scoop of that next time! The sauces were also super delicious & really gave my bowl that extra pop. Food here is 10/10Service is very fast & friendly & ambiance is nice. Great location overall! Can you guys please look into getting a location in Santa Clarita?!

Absolutely delicious food... I got the bulgogi beef bowl and it's so yum I got it a few months ago and once again today, and I'm a bit sad that they don't have dried seaweed anymore, but it's still delicious! Portion sizes are also great, so if you're hungry and down for some tasty Asian food this is definitely a good choice!

Gogobop is so good and they earned themselves a new loyal customer! It's basically like Korean-styled Chipotle and you can customize your bowl to your liking. The meat is really juicy and tender and the ingredients they used are fresh. Employees are super sweet and give you recommendations if you ask for them. The service is super fast and I got my meal within 5 minutes. Surprisingly for a restaurant in a college neighborhood (right next to UCLA), it was pretty clean inside and well kept! There is indoor and outside seating and the restaurant offers water cups. Portions here are also huge for the price! It's not the best Korean food you can grab in LA, but considering how it's in Westwood right next to a college campus it's pretty awesome! I highly recommend you try out this place!
