Wow, what a great find! I was in town for Thanksgiving a few weeks ago and spotted this place when stopped at the stoplight. I made a mental note to swing by this strip mall when I was back in the area for Christmas, and my goodness--I'm so glad we popped in!First, we put in our order online for pick up. When we arrived, they were still preparing it as they only had one person in the kitchen and taking orders at the time. I think mid-way into preparing our meal, another worker came in from break to pick up in the kitchen. Did not mind waiting because the food is truly made fresh to order.We noticed most people that dropped in were also coming in for pre-ordered pick ups, but they have a few tables available to eat in. Place is very clean and the decorations were cute.When we grabbed our order, we could not believe the portions for the price points they are offering, and the quality of the food is tasty! Earnestly, before I even finished my first bite of the soy garlic chicken, I had a feeling the rest of the meal would not disappoint. And it sure didn't! We ordered:- Soy Garlic Chicken (small) -- could honestly feed a few people. The flavor was absolutely there, and piqued my interest enough to want to try their other varieties.- Ghost Signature Rice Bowl -- portion is good for a single person. We honestly should have saved this for another visit, but next time I'd rather order a portion of chicken only, and skip the rice and pickled sides.- 8pc California Roll -- these were definitely made to order. Nothing outstanding, but not bad either. It seems hard to mess up a California Roll. The ginger served on the side was freshly sliced.- Chicken gyoza -- our least favorite item we ordered for the evening, but not horrible. - Bulgogi Pizza -- I cannot believe this was only $13. This could serve at least 4 people, perhaps more, given how dense each slice is with toppings. There are mounds of beef piled onto it under all of the generous amounts of cheese. I think they also have pineapple on it? Which was a nice surprise for the sweetness for the bulgogi. I would order this again! But I'm also interested in trying their other pizzas now.- Side of french fries -- significant portion. Perfectly crispy and well seasoned with salt.The service and portions of food are excellent value for their current price points. We have so many leftovers to enjoy for a while (again, cannot believe how much food!). I will be making an effort to come back and try more of their menu when I'm in the neighborhood!

New spot who this!Ghost Food Court kitchen formerly Sushi Plus BBQ Teriyaki is located in Van Nuys Blvd/ Magnolia Blvd strip mall along with Auto Zone A&V Grill and other local small businesses. They have a fair amount of shared parking and some nice tables and chairs inside.I wanted to stop in being local to the area and check out the new revamp. The menu was similar, but fresh and the flavors were still very much there. Unfortunately for me they scaled back on a lot of their veggie options, but more so the vegan friendly variety. They still have some classics to choose from such as their avocado roll, cucumber roll and sides such as rice, french fries and edamame. Teriyaki Tofu Bowl is a fav (vegetarian and vegan by default) - yummy veggies with three thick cooked stripes of grill tofu.When I ordered today they weren't sure if they had tofu in stock... Possibly being very popular and in a lot of the dishes including one of the Bento Box deals. The lady on duty came back ready to take my order with a extra bright smile. Mild mix up when ordering because bowl and box can sound similar when outside or background noise flows in, but very easy fix!You can scan the QR code on the door to check out their menu as well as visit Ghost Food Court online. I love the concept of Japanese, Korean and American style cuisine all in one place - fast casual yum, but do hope they'll revisit or introduce some new dietary friendly items back. The Tofu Teriyaki Bento comes with California rolls currently an easy mod for cucumber would make that a vegetarian meal easy peasy.Still updating and modernizing their new renovated and hopefully thriving with time GFC, maybe yours too! Stop it, take out or deliver to yourself and enjoy :)

I was surprised by the quality and amount of food that came in the bento box. The salmon I had was huge and well done, the tempura was crispy and the vegetables were all fresh and good. Usually when you see a restaurant offering Korean, American and Japanese at the same time, you get suspicious, but the Japanese bento was much better than ok. The price is also very solid. Super recommend!

I wanted to like this place because we need a good neighborhood Korean spot, and the staff was super nice. However I found the chicken to be overly battered and the fried rice had nothing in it while tasting too sweet, not even egg mixed in. I thought I'd have better luck with the sushi but alas, found the shrimp tempura also over battered and way too much rice, throwing off the rice to filling ratio. Overall, might be good if you're looking for a quick fix for Asian fusion but really wasn't my cup of tea.

This place is truly amazing. The bulkogi pizza was incredible and CRAMMED with meat. The wings are also fantastic. Even the fried rice was surprisingly excellent. Portions are very generous. Unusually great!!!
