Came here for breakfast with a friend! It was around 9 am on a Sunday so we didn't really have a wait. We sat outside by the heater. The staff were super friendly and kind. I got the chicken and waffles and she got the matcha pancakes. She said her food was AAAAMAZING. My chicken and waffles were good too - some parts of the chicken were too dry but most of it was perfect. Overall - this spot was amazing. Will def be back! There is a ton of street parking.

Long wait, delicious brunch! My friend and I waited 45 min to be seated for brunch at 11:10 but it was worth it. I had the Omelette that had veggie sausage and egg white and it was super filling and delicious. I also had a mix of Cafe de Olla and regular coffee which was a good way to cut the sweetness. They also served the almond milk hot which I appreciated so the coffee didn't get cold. My friend had the Huevos Rancheros which was great too!Street parking wasn't hard. I would def come back just leave factor in wait times!

Nestled in the bustling intersection of Victory Blvd. and Van Nuys Blvd., Garcia Bros Cafe brings an irresistible blend of authentic flavors, warm hospitality, and vibrant charm to the heart of Van Nuys. After years in the restaurant industry, the Garcia brothers poured their passion, creativity, and cherished family recipes into this vibrant spot, and it's clear they've cooked up something special.Step inside, and you're greeted with inviting, warm-toned decor and a lively yet cozy vibe. The cafe comfortably seats about 40 guests indoors, complemented by a dozen outdoor seats perfect for sunny days. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite at the takeaway counter or settling in for a leisurely meal, the efficient, friendly staff will make you feel right at home.Street parking is available, with a few spots tucked away in the back, so plan accordingly, especially during busy hours. On my first visit on a Tuesday morning, I decided to go with the Café de Olla ($4.95) and Huevos con Pollo ($17.95). The traditional Mexican coffee stole the show! Bold, sweet, and perfectly spiced, it's like a warm hug in a cup. And the best part? Unlimited refills...because you will drink more than one cup.One of the house specialities, Huevos con Pollo, is a feast for the senses - three eggs (any style) paired with a grilled chicken breast, two crispy corn tortillas, a drizzle of tangy tomatillo sauce, melted mozzarella-cheddar cheese, creamy avocado slices, and a side of flavorful pinto beans. Each bite was a symphony of textures and flavors, from the perfectly spiced tomatillo sauce to the crunch of the homemade tortillas. It's hearty, colorful, and deeply satisfying: a must-try for anyone craving a protein-packed breakfast with strong Mexican heritage. The menu offers an array of delicious options, from classic Huevos Rancheros and Chilaquiles to indulgent sweet treats like Matcha, Tiramisu, or Red Velvet Pancakes. Waffles, Crepes, and Benedicts round out the offerings, ensuring there's something for everyone.Garcia Bros Cafe is a true neighborhood treasure - a place where fresh ingredients, homemade recipes, and love for food come together to create unforgettable meals. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the generous portions and high-quality ingredients.Open daily from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM (3:00 PM on weekends), this spot gets busy even on weekdays. During my Tuesday morning visit around 10:00 AM, the cafe was full and buzzing with happy diners - a testament to its well-earned popularity.Whether you're a local or just passing through, Garcia Bros Cafe is worth a visit. Bring your appetite, and prepare to be delighted!

I absolutely love both locations but I have to say that the Van Nuys location has the best customer service of the two cafes. Everyone welcomes you with a smile and they circle back to the table several times to make sure everything is just right. The food is consistently good and the Matcha Pancakes are out of this world delicious!!! I love that the syrup isn't overly sweet and the pancakes are made to perfection! Their homemade whipped cream really adds the perfect touch to this dish. Only suggestion is the hash browns could be a little crispier on the outside. There's plenty of indoor and some outdoor seating with a casual atmosphere. Garcia Bros. won't disappoint you!

Garcia Bros Caffe was an absolute delight! I stumbled upon this gem on Yelp while searching for a spot to catch up with my family. After reading the great reviews and pictures of their delicious dishes, I knew I had to try it.We arrived around 10:20am and patiently waited about 30 minutes for a table. Considering the restaurant's popularity and limited seating, I was pleasantly surprised that they managed to accommodate our large group of 11 comfortably.I ordered their matcha berry pancakes. These fluffy pancakes were amazingly good! To go with my pancakes I ordered a chai latte. The latte was visually stunning, with a beautiful latte design. The taste was equally delightful, though I wish it had been a tad warmer. The entire family and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Garcia Bros Caffe has definitely earned a spot on our must-visit list. I can't wait to return soon and savor more of their mouthwatering dishes!

I do love the location and the vibe of the place. We sat outside and it was very nice. The food was decent. They have some good options. I ordered the tiramisu pancakes which is supposed to come with raspberries and blueberries. For some reason, they brought it plain. I asked the employee that brought the food and he looked at me like I was crazy lol and said it's not missing anything. I told him it sure was. Anyways, the options are cool. I do wish they had more healthier options. Our server was super nice.I've always wanted to try this place so I'm glad I finally did. But when I order something, I would like for my food to come how it's described.

If you're looking for a place to eat but not sure of where to go start by driving around the area. If you see a line waiting to get into a place you can probably bet on there being good food. Such was the outcome of Garcia Bros Cafe. You will wait but have no doubt that it is worth every minute.. think everyone waiting for the soup nazi on Seinfeld. A place can have a rating but the best rating is your taste buds and mine definitely gave 5 stars for this one. I had the Chilaquiles and baaabbbyyyy when I tell you I was transported to my last vacay in Mexico but even better! I added soy chorizo to top it off and the combo didn't miss. It is a small outside area as well as a small inside area BUT Listen, I don't care if I have to sit on top of someone or rub elbows with the table next to me. You will have eaten great food and made a new friend. So If you're ever in the Van Nuys area put on your waiting shoes and check out Garcia Bros Cafe!
