If I told you how long my husband and I have been going to Fu's Palace, you wouldn't believe us. We've been going to Fu's for the last 20+ years and let me tell you. . . we have traveled far-and-wide for food within Los Angeles and its surrounding areas.Fu's Palace, as my husband reminisces, reminds him of the Chinese restaurants that his family would regularly frequent while growing up in Long Island -- and I don't disagree with him. From choice appetizers of shrimp toast, barbecued pork, classic hot & sour soup, and wonton soup, you cannot beat Fu's Palace's cooking. Their signature entrées like beef lo mein, chicken chow mein, Mongolian beef combo, broccoli beef, General Tso's chicken. . . they're all tried-and-true dishes worthy of driving and fighting L.A. traffic for an hour. You MUST go to Fu's Palace!!! It's an old-school L.A. establishment with tasty and familiar dishes and no-nonsense prices.

I am soooo sad! $75 down the drain, not a single dish was edible. It was quite possibly the worst Chinese food I have ever had in my life. Everything was beyond flavorless, the meat was horrific, we tried to eat it and immediately spit it out into our napkins... it is so disappointing because the people who work at Fu's are so kind. I really wanted to support this place but the food just really shouldn't even be sold, it's not right.

My go to Chinese place. The food is always good. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly. You also get free tea and free noodles which they don't give you down the street at twin Dragon, which I used to go. With expensive valet parking becoming the norm everywhere, It's nice to know you can park in the back and it doesn't cost anything. Gary and his staff always greet me like family and it's just a really inviting place to hang with friends.

The word is out. Margaret and Gary Fu can host a party! Nostalgia to old Hollywood, in an amazing space, indoor banquet area, enormous round bar, and a beautiful patio. The food, top-notch. Some of LA's best Chinese food. Well priced! Accommodating, private parking lot. All had a blast!

Great NYC-style Chinese restaurant. It's a casual, cozy vibe and friendly service. Tons of vegetarian options-- the Buddha's Feast was lovely and not too heavy. The Vegetable Lo Mein and Egg Rolls were great, and I highly recommend asking for some spicy mustard with them! Food came out super quick and piping hot. I got a simple vodka club soda, but I kind of wish I'd asked for a cocktail menu. Next time! The prices were great and there's quite a bit of free parking behind the restaurant. We came around 6ish on a Sunday and we were seated right away.

The service is very friendly and accommodating. The New York style egg rolls will definitely make East Coast people feel at home.Good parking in the rear.Cons:The food is not great.

Very homey vibe, come for the lunch specials! Great price, ample seating and easier time to find parking. Family owned and you definitely get that vibe inside. They do have a little patio area as well.I always get good and attentive service from the staff here and the food comes out pretty fast (at least during lunch). The lunch specials are great and always a big portion but they include an veggie roll, hot soup, fried rice and choice of entree. We loved the lo mein and tangerine chicken and I've had the sweet and sour shrimp as well. And of course gotta have a fortune cookie at the end.

If you are looking for great New York-style Chinese food, Fu's is the place! Our family has been eating here for thirty years. The food is always delicious and the service is always great. You will feel like you are on a movie set because the ambiance is classic. Fu's is a family business so you will always be warmly welcomed by the owners whose first question is "How may I help you?"The restaurant also has a great bar and a large party room. Fu's is the best!

I love Fu's and have been going here for years. The old school vibes of the interior are just what I want in a classic Chinese American restaurant. It's kitschy and takes you back in time. More importantly, the food is so good. I have never been disappointed by a meal here. Generous portions and fair prices, it's great to go here with a group. I always leave highly satisfied and with a smile.
