Amazing!! I didn't have much expectations coming here since I thought NYC had the best authentic Chinese food, but I was wrong. What a gem in LA. We ordered from the lunch specials that were incredibly and unbelievably cheap, yet the portions were more than enough for 4 people. We had the sizzling seafood, fried whole sole, fried calamari, salt and pepper shrimp, Chinese broccoli and fried rice for 4 and the west lake soup... and was pleasantly surprised. Loved the dishes, the price and fast service! We got lucky to find parking and can be a challenge in Chinatown.

Disappointed with the service today. Normally this place is quick, from sitting, to ordering, to getting food... they were always super efficient. But not today. Waited at least 15 min just to order and there was only 2 other tables today that had already been served.Once our food was ordered, each plate came out one by one. At the end, it also took quite a long time before anyone noticed us to ask for to-go containers. But then they ended up boxing it for us.FoodMy friends came here specifically for the salt and pepper crab, and that did not disappoint. The shell was easy to crack, the flavor and spiciness was on the shell and it got the taste of it when eating the crab.Lunch specials... I guess I assumed this included rice, but it does not and they did not ask us if we wanted any rice to go with our food. I ordered the salt and pepper calamari, but it was not the same as the crab. That seasoning really didn't stick to the calamari, so you had to spoon the seasoning and eat the calamari at the same time. The orange beef was the surprising dish! This was addicting! I just wanted to taste it and I probably got 5 or 6 more bites. It was great. I would come back just for this. There were definitely highlights of our meal, while other parts were just so-so. If their service was the same as in the past, I would have given them 4 stars

One of my favorite OG Chinatown spots. The food is consistently good and they're open late (1am)! Service is quick and efficient and food comes out fast. Some of my favorites here include the pork chops with spicy salt, shrimp with spicy salt, clams with blackbean sauce, sautéed string beans and house style lobster. They have large tables and can accommodate big groups. My family has been going here for over 30 years. It's one of the few original Chinatown spots that's still going strong.

This is my go to Chinese restaurant whenever I'm in Chinatown. Typical table seating. Service is pretty good. The food is what brings me back. It's exactly what you expect from a traditional Chinese food restaurant. This last time, I ordered the steamed dumplings, steamed mixed vegetables, and orange chicken. The pork dumplings melt in your mouth. Have to admit, the orange chicken is super tasty. I ordered the lunch special, but that didn't make the portion size any smaller than what I expected. I had lunch and enough for dinner the same night. Yes, they charge for steamed white rice. Restroom situation: One stall for women. Men's is through the kitchen.

After shopping around Chinatown can pack a big appetite. We were looking for a quick lunch nearby and then spotted Full House. We ordered:Shrimp fried riceMongolian beefSweet n sour porkI highly recommend the Mongolian beef. So tender and one of the best I ever had! I expected less, but the food was actually pretty good. The food was prep and served very quickly.

Been wanting to try this place out for a while, so I decided to and take my mom and brother out for lunch. We dined here on SuperBowl Sunday so Chinatown was pretty quiet. I havent been to this side of town in years so not sure if that's the norm or not. Anyway, they had lunch specials till about 4pm and we arrived a little after 2 pm. There were maybe only 2 tables taken in the whole restaurant when we arrived so we were greeted and seated right away. Tea was promptly served after we sat down so we browsed the menu. So many things offered, so ordered quite a bit of food. Prices were really good and as we found , portions are quite large-even for lunch specials. We ordered pan fried seafood chow mein, orange chicken, fried pork chops, shrimp fried rice and walnut shrimp. Everything was good, but was not really a fan of the orange chicken, I guess I'm used to Panda Express orange chicken, haha. Anyway, good place to go with a large group and they are open late so definitely would dine here if I'm ever in the area late at night.

This is the first time I had dinner at Full House. The place was packed. The food was delicious. The stir fried fish fillet was tasty. The portion for all of the food was big. However, the fried chicken was a little bit dry. The service was attentive and all of the servers provide excellent service. I will come back to try other dishes.

Established in 1981, Full House Seafood Restaurant is another iconic Cantonese-style restaurant in Chinatown. Out of the three I've been to this past week, I'd rank this one above Foo Chow, but probably below Golden Dragon. The four of us had a great time here splitting a few dishes and having a couple beers. I would not hesitate to come back and try more of their menu items. Service was very friendly, helpful, and efficient.

Wow. I don't know how they did it but the food is so much better. The orange chicken has really been improved. The Hong Kong style dry egg noodles are always amazing here. The shrimp fried rice, always a great and delicious. Seriously been wanting to return here for so long and I have to say it was so worth it.

Taste: 4Creativity/Authenticity: 4Atmosphere: 3.5Service: 5Bang for your buck: 5My dad was In town and he was craving Chinese food, so I decided to take him to Chinatown for some authentic food! I was shocked that Chinatown has changed so much and a lot of the stores I grew up eating at are closed and gone forever! I remember eating here as a kid, and glad it was still around. Started with dumplings and crab meat fish maw soup, then the salt and pepper shrimp and pork chops, wow. Next came the shrimp fried rice and the Chinese eggplant, just like grandma used to make! When we came in, the place looked empty, literally In a matter of minutes there was a line out the door and the place was packed! The service, here is not your typical Chinese restaurant, they were very fast and attentive! Overall great food and service and I enjoyed my experience. Thank you
