Cute little brunch place in los Feliz. Really enjoyed the ambiance and style of the placeI ordered a coffee and the French toast. Solid diner food. They came and offered a refill on the coffee.The only negative I would say, is we paid our bill, but we're still finishing our coffee and they asked us to hurry up so other people could sit down. It was almost noon and there were plenty of seats outside so that was not very polite. Other than that, enjoyed the place. Would eat again if in the area.

Fred 62 is a classic spot with a blend of past and present. As cool as it gets in the city of Los Feliz. This longstanding Los Angeles restaurant located on the corner of Vermont Avenue/Russell Avenue, just a beat down from Franklin Avenue has a lot to offer and then some...Bringing you an extensive menu variety with cool ambiance, retro decor and a crew of servers, managers, cooks that will have you nostalgic for more.Stopped in with my boyfriend who actually recommended Fred's as a favorite of his and our friend Andrew after a nice morning stroll and hike. We got guided to a great booth toward the back with plenty of room for three. Our sever was the absolute best, believe he might be the main manager here (I'm bad with names after a five mile hike #hungrysaidfred). He was more attentive, friendly, funny, and above an beyond.I knew F62 had/has an extensive menu, but did not know they had this amazing plant-based menu (with clearly labeled items throughout for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free friendly options) as well nearly mirroring everything they make traditional and classic. It's comfort and quality food for all and I'm an instant fan! From Avocado or French Toasts to Falafel Plates, Chilaquiles, Burritos, Burgers, Bowls and more... You'll absolutely be hooked. It's a very cool place, little expensive but it not bad for la. Food is prefect dinner food for a good hangover day or just want some classic dinner style food. The service is as you could imagine, nothing super spectacular. But also not the worst thing ever, I've gone on some busy days and will say this. They don't forget about you, just trust the process and it'll come. I promise, usually the servers will tell you if it will be a little longer if they're slammed which is nice, we love honest and open communication. Should check it out Fred's is a classic staple dinner in the Silverlake Los Feliz area.

A wave of nostalgia envelopes you at Fred 62's. This corner restaurant has a very original vibe that isn't manufactured but created by the patrons. It just a very lived in place that offers a great selection of dishes at all hours of the day.I stopped in for a weekday breakfast with co-workers and we had the following:* Chunky Monkey shake (thick and delicious)* OG Fairfax High (poached eggs, salmon, tomato, onions, cream cheese)* Cali Love Burger* B.L.T.A. We took several booths and received great service from the moment we sat down. Our meals arrived quickly and in generous servings too. Its been awhile since I smiled so much, but Fred's holds special memories for me. It's been many years since I was last here, and when I came around it was always after midnight. The midnight vibe is much different from the morning workplace vibe, but the service and the food is still just as fresh and delicious. Parking is available across the street in the public parking lot or on the street.Enjoy your visit!

The atmosphere of the diner was retro and fit the theme of the restaurant well. Staff was friendly, and service was super fast. Ticket times were less than 10 mins. As for the food, I ordered the New Amsterdam -- a breakfast sandwich that included 2 over-easy eggs, bacon, and hasbrowns between brioche buns. It included a side of their "f-bomb" sauce, which tasted like a mild salsa. Taste was fine. There wasn't really anything that could have gone wrong since it was more of a simple sandwich. $15 for a breakfast sandwich is a bit steep, especially since it didn't come with a side. If I were to come again, I'd order something else.

Fred 62 has what you need for an LA diner: an accessible location after a hike or concert, fast and friendly service, and a huge menu for every and any dietary restriction. It's reliable, open late, and always a good idea!

Wonderful service and great food! Came in for Sunday breakfast and was more than satisfied. All around solid offerings, and we were able to grab a table inside despite it being busy. Personally, I love a sausage patty and this one was juicy and hearty. Pretty good portion size and although it was a basic breakfast nothing was lacking. The bearded french toast was also great. Nothing fancy here. Great move popping in for a morning bite.

First off Customer Service 100/10, everyone was so attentive, nice and helpful about my family member in a wheelchair. Food was amazing, my parents ordered enchiladas and chilaquiles and they loved it too! We loved the attention and amount of times they went to make sure we were good on refills or needed anything! The music was our favorite part! Would definitely go back
