This place is LEGIT!! They did have a B rating so I asked why they were graded a B. The young lady who works at the register is super sweet!! I get the Oxtails lunch. It's perfect with the rice and peas, plantains, veggies and festival. They do give a hefty serving to for the large. They don't skimp...Definitely my go to for Jamaican food when I'm in the area. It's not an ear in restaurant. Just meant for take out.

I saw an advertisement on Instagram, so I had to try it.I had the lemon Pepper wings that were very delicious. I also tried the turkey burger. And the portions are generous. The customer service is welcoming and accommodating.

Mixed review. Between a 3 star or 4 but there were some items that were really good. The good: Beef patty was really good. I liked that it was actually a bit spicy. Cabbage also tastyJerk chicken: a dry jerk... well seasoned and pretty spicy! Has that grilled flavor. Liked this more than the oxtails.Oxtails: they were good but honestly I haven't had many to compare to. I think oxtails might just not be my thing in terms of texture/fat but the flavor was good.Plantains were fine no complaints. Not the best:Rice and peas: ok but dry... did taste notes of coconutFestival bread: old and rock hardIf I come back it would prob just be for the patties, cabbage, maybe some jerk chicken, and a stop by antojito (right next door) for some fresh juice or paletas

Respectfully, it was mid. I ordered curry goat and I'm pretty sure I got oxtails. Not a particularly good oxtails. The rice and beans was decent, a tad overcooked and lacking flavor. The festival was HARD and very dry. On the other hand, my gf loved her curry shrimp. The place is small but clean, and the service was nice. The parking is limited but wasn't an issue.

Tried this spot for the first time a little over a month ago and have probably been back 5 times since. I literally crave their jerk chicken and the oxtails and always delicious. Not to mention the portions go crazy. This is officially my favorite Jamaican food spot in SoCal. Don't sleep if you're in the area, this place is official.

Need to get away from your typical burgers and pizza, this place right here hits your belly with nothing but homemade flava!.The awesome cashier suggested I get the oxtail plate I ordered it large. The sides were superb and very generously served. This place is more of a pick up and go as they do not have tables so be sure you get a few napkins. It's fairly new but I see this place becoming a hot spot for as long they keep adding love to their ingredients you can tell this place is made with love and quality. The place is very clean too so do not let the outside intimidate you. This was my very first time trying Jamaican food but it will not be my last. Thanks flava for an awesome experience!

Flava Kitchen is an absolute gem! I stumbled upon this spot, and I'm so glad I did because the food is nothing short of amazing. The oxtails are incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor--absolutely melt-in-your-mouth goodness. The stew chicken is equally delicious, with every bite bursting with authentic Jamaican spices. The rice and peas are cooked to perfection, and the cabbage is seasoned just right, rounding out an unforgettable meal. If you're looking for truly authentic Jamaican cuisine that hits the spot every time, look no further than Flava Kitchen. This place is fire!
