The cutest corner spot at the La arts district.Parking is tough as you can imagine but there are plenty of paid lots surrounding the area (with one directly outside the restaurant for $5 per hour) The menu is simple and well executed. The interior is chic and cozy, dimly lit, fairly quiet ambiance with plenty of bar seating. The restrooms are separated but share a communal sink area. Entrees do not come with sides (if you get a burger make sure to add on fries because their shoestring fries with garlic sauce is to die for) You order your food at the bar and then they'll bring it to your table. Server was super friendly and kind in bringing us several extra garlic sauces for our meal.Overall a great spot for lunch, dinner, or drinks!

I like this location since it doesn't get too busy (even in during dinner on a Saturday). You have to pay for parking, and it's limited. I recommend coming early to find good parking. The fries didn't really have flavor, but the Father's Office burger is so good! The tots were a good try too. The aioli sauce is always excellent. You can walk off your meal walking to salt and straw and/or Bar 82!

First time at father's office! (I know... can't believe it but finally came!) Food:-office burger: sooo juicy!! And delicious. Mine kind of fell apart at the end but that might be more how I eat or eating slowly? But the burger itself, loved it! -fries: they are sooo skinny! Not my usual fave type of fries but they're crunchy on the outside and squishy on the inside (sweet spot) and the aioli- LOVE!! Drinks:-beer: solid.Service: -order at the bar, food gets delivered! Very nice and simple and prompt especially for a big place. We went earlier so it wasn't packed but as the night wore on, definitely got busier and appreciated the serviceAmbiance:-so interesting! It's hugeee and i love the open windows and how vibe-ey and fresh it is...albeit we went in winter so it was so cold.. but love how ample the space is, a lot of intimate-ish spots and bigger party spots! Mood lighting so dimmer but not overly so, so nice!! Overall:I'm a fan! Will be back for the burger and fries too (even though they're the skinnnnies) AND the beer! Yay

Father's Office is always one of our favorite date night meals... so normally I would rate it 5 stars but I had to ding one star this time because of a certain circumstance. Because they're celebrating the 25 years of the office burger they had a special promotion of $9.50 for the office burger from 2/6-2/8 dine in only. So of course my husband and I kept this in mind and decided to go tonight for a date night sans baby with my in-laws blessing to go out for date night. Buuuuuuuut the restaurant itself was not equipped to handle this promotion. I think maybe a few employees may have called out (?) knowing this promotion would bring tons more people to the restaurant. It was so chaotic, crowded, and disorganized. We had to ask multiple times for forks but we couldn't even be upset because of how busy and packed the place was... I think everyone dining in felt the tense situation due to the promotion... so maybe if you're planning on doing this again in another 5 years to have more staff ready to handle the sheer volume of customers who are going to flock to the restaurant!

This is my fave location out of all the locations; it's big, it's airy, and filled with light. Parking is also easier than some DTLA spots with a few garages nearby. We stopped by for a quick pre-dinner snack and everything was yummy. You go up to the bar to order and they bring your food out to you, and it was all pretty fast. If you order drinks, you just collect those at the bar.

For father's office, I love the burger! What can I say a beer and a good burger you can't go wrong! They also have good appetizer plates and I love their salads. It's fun to go with a group of people and relax on a weekend or an evening.

This 21 & over gastropub is located in the Garey Building, corner of E. 2nd St. and S. Garey St. in the Arts District, DTLA. Parking can be challenging during peak hrs, but we were lucky enough to find a spot in the "Perfect Parking" alley-style lot @$5/hr on the east side of the building at 929 E. 2nd (although the pub advertises $8 flat parking when you dine with them, we just couldn't figure it out). The area feels really safe. I was hesitant to go here because they do not permit any substitutions and/or modifications to any menu items, but I was extremely satisfied with everything here. We stopped on Saturday evening for dinner, walked right in, and grabbed a table. You scan the menu at your table and go up to the bar to place your order (the menu is also listed at the bar). They'll give you a number, then deliver your food to your table. I tried "The Office Burger," which consists of bacon compote, caramelized onions, arugula, Gruyere & Maytag Blue cheese on French bread accompanied by a "Basket of Sweet Potato Frites" and an "Allagash White" to drink. Everything tasted amazing, the food so fresh cooked to perfection with great presentation. No ketchup and/or mustard, so don't ask LOL. The beer was perfectly cold and satisfying. The bar is clean, spacious, and organized. Closed Monday & Tuesday. Clean restrooms. Overall, we had a great experience at this location.

What a fantastic place for a drink and some phenomenal food!First, parking is on the street, pretty easy, I usually can find a spot around the neighborhood, but you may have to drive a little distance and walk a few blocks, but it's easy walk. I went on a Sunday night about 2hrs before closing, and it was pretty quiet, sat down easily at the bar, which was a nice quartz countertop (pretty sure that's quartz). Got the menu right in front of me behind the bar and on the QR code as well. Lot so good options. I got the Office burger, which was freaking fantastic, got it cooked medium, great flavor and texture, the right amount of chew and flavorful, with a lot of arugula packed inside, so it was lean meat plus lot of veggies between some fresh buns. Highly recommended. I also shared a Prime Hangar Steak, which was cooked medium, came out delicious (more like medium rare in finish), and I complemented the main dishes with some sweet potato fries, which were crispy and came with a nice dressing on the side. For beer, I wasn't sure what to get so our bartender Kemp recommended the Figueroa Mountain Agua Santa Cerveza, it was some of the best beers. I don't like hoppy beers usually so I don't drink IPAs and rarely hazy IPAs, and I wanted something light and refreshing, and this Agua Santa was the perfect choice. Thanks for the great recommendation!Ambiance is great. Casual feel, but also would fit an upscale bar restaurant vibe. Highly recommended for work dinner/drinks or a nice night out for a date. Will be sure to come back again very soon!

Met a friend here to catch up. Have been to Father's Office in years, and that was the Santa Monica location, but always had fond memories of the office burger. So came here to see if my memories were real or just something I made up. The restaurant is self seating, and you order your food at the bar. They also have a wealth of beers available as well as cocktails, though the cocktail list is more limited. We both ordered the Office Burger, though my friend didn't really eant a burger, he just got it because I told him I remember it being phenomenal. Food arrived at the table quickly, as it wasn't busy (around 530p). Biting into the burger brought back so many great memories (felt like that moment in Ratatouille). The bun is very soft, while the meat is cooked perfectly (you can choose for you want the best cooked, that's the only choice you get regarding the burger). The caramelized onions have a nice sweetness and the blue cheese covered with the gruyere takes it to a whole different level. My friend was mid sentence when he said, "This burger is amazing". Just interrupted his whole other thought to let me know. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a burger that will reset your bar for what a burger can, and should, be
