Ambiance: it's a spacious restaurant located on the ground level and deep inside the hotel, open kitchen mainly for American style food Service: lack of service, slow and careless, not only I had to remind to refill the water, but also the kitchen made mistake over the food order and had to bring it back to fix Food: very limited items under each category Chorizo pizza - ** roasted tomato sauce, Oaxaca cheese, arugula, pickled onions, so dry and tasteless Price: small to medium portions and overpriced for its poor quality, mandatory 20% tip, and expect about $30 per person for food plus any alcoholic drinks

Service was exceptional. I wouldn't change a thing on that end. The food was good, avocado toast was probably the best at our table. Others ordered the regular bacon and eggs. I'd go back but likely would try something different maybe at dinner time.

Excellent ambiance, food, service and overall experience. They only had a very limited cigar smoking area. They can easily accommodate cigar smoking in their outside lounge.

This place is not closed. It's located inside the Sofitel hotel. We went there for breakfast and it was great! Service was super friendly, buffet looked high quality and fresh. There's a little kids table that's low to the ground and has chocolate muffins, cookies, and waffles. There's also some sort of donut wall. See pic. Yoghurt, fruit, coffee, eggs, baguettes and other breads, honey, jams, cheese...everything was delicious. Buffet is about $35 plus tip and tax. Tip is automatically included.

Was OK, nothing that really blew my mind. Best plates I had were the steak frites and crispy Brussel sprouts. Probably would go elsewhere than come back here again. Would give it 3.5 stars if I could!

My family from out of town were staying at Sofitel so we decided to have Saturday brunch there this past weekend. The decor and ambiance for the brunch was beyond adorable (french themed) and the outdoor patio was the epitome of what a brunch in Los Angeles should resemble. However, I was fairly disappointed with the lack of flavor in most of the dishes. The omelette was bland and nothing special. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to dine here again in the near future compared to the other dining spots in west Los Angeles. However, I would give the restaurant five stars for impeccable staff and service.

I made a reservation 1 week in advance for three of us last Friday night. We drove an hour in traffic to arrive on time only to be told that the restaurant was closed for a private event. I have never made reservations before at a restaurant where they didn't have the courtesy to call me and notify me of this change so that I could make different arrangements. Very disappointed with the lack of customer service.

I stay at this hotel often and have only had breakfast here before. The breakfast is very good and the service is excellent. I decided to try the dinner as it had been a long day, a cold night and the menu looked acceptable if slightly overpriced. The food was NOT good. The Caesar salad was over dressed and obviously had not been properly washed. It was extremely gritty. The catch of the day, sea bass, came smothered in a white sauce they called a beurre blanc was a flavorless paste that masked whatever flavor the overcooked fish may have had. I'll go back for breakfast. It's a short walk to many far better restaurants for dinner.

We came to L.A. for the Sting concert. We stayed at this hotel because it was convenient. Food was only mediocre. My main complaints: the 4 fried oysters were tiny. They were hidden in a bed of slaw/lettuce. They were about the size of a pea. Also.. the waiter gave us the check. When he sent the check back to be signed, he neglected to bring the itemized bill. I asked for it to see if the gratuity had been added. The gratuity was already included. Had I not asked, I would've paid gratuity twice.
