This place is my go to for several types of good times! I love their rooftop theater, love the rooftop bar and dine in restaurant food is delish and divine! I can't believe I haven't written a review as much as I love this place!I recently went to go see a rooftop movie with a couple of friends, ordered their chicken sandwich and fries and all lt was great! I do wish that they had heat lamps because we were all freezing! One of my friends left early bc she could not stand the cold. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas and it looked like a good time downstairs in the restaurant! I've chilled on the rooftop for drinks and bar food as well and it's never disappointed.

The decor was nice. They have a third floor rooftop with heated lamp. There's plenty of seating area. The drinks were not good. Got the Old Fashioned and it was $20.95 after tax, but they were requesting a 20% tip. First off, they didn't have the single, giant ice block like most places. Even though it was cold outside, the ice melted within half an hour. Second, the bartender put some cream color syrup in the drink instead of sugar. It was overly sweet for an old fashioned. Third, she used Jim Beam for the whiskey portion. For the price I paid, I expected a higher quality brand. The drink was just not good. We also got a few double gin tonic, which ran us $30ish each. There was plenty of street parking for $1 an hour before 8pm.

This review is only for the Holly Jolly holiday bar.Going in, I was a bit scared given the bad reviews I've seen. However, it was overall a good experience. We came about 30 minutes after our reservation time and were graciously seated right away. Though it did take about 20 minutes after being seated before someone came to take our order...and we had to let someone know we were ready. After that, it was a great experience! Our waitress was very nice, the room was decorated in holiday decor and there was Christmas music playing. The drinks were also very yummy. My favorite was the Deck the Halls! The first drink is complimentary with your ticket but we also ordered two additional drinks, which were $19 each. We were also charged a 20% service fee, though I'm not sure if we would have been charged that if we didn't buy additional drinks. Overall, a good experience.

This review is for the Holly Jolly bar. I can only say that it's good for what it is. I wish there was a little more light in the bar, but it has that over the top Christmas that you're looking for when you reserve it. They had a couple tasty well themed cocktails and mocktails and some decent food. We really liked the lobster roll and the rum Rudolph run drink, but could have passed on the loaded fries. Service was great and the staff overall was really friendly.

I visited EP&LP during their holiday themed bar. It was decorated super cute, I wish I would've planned it better and came later so the lighting was on and it could feel more like the holidays. The staff were super friendly and attentive. I had 2 holiday drinks, honestly don't remember their names but they were absolutely delicious and definitely got me buzzed. I also ordered waffle fries which were delicious, as a fry lover they were perfect. I just know since the holiday drinks were delicious their normal drinks must be too so I can't wait to come back and see what the bar is normally like.

Came for the holiday pop up. Doesn't seem like many of the other reviews necessarily enjoyed it, but compared to some other the holiday pop ups I've seen, I'd say it's up to par (if not above par). The decor is cheesy and in your face and I love it, might as well go all out for the Christmas cheer. Their menu had some good drink options, as well as two mocktails and some food. Service could have been a little faster, but fortunately they were able to finally get a second round of cocktails in and they weren't too strict on the 90 min mark so we didn't feel like we had to rush it.

I attended a Lifetime holiday event here for a movie I'm in, and WOW! This venue was PERFECT!When my guest and I arrived, we were taken to an elevator that had ALL the posters of the Lifetime holiday movies being celebrated! When we got to the top, there was a skating ring, multiple open bars, a photo booth with Santa, a customized blanket station, and the Hors d'oeuvres were amazing! From tuna cones, to chicken burgers, to fish tacos, to waffle fries and more, there wasn't a shortage of food in the building! The ambiance was extremely social and lively! In fact, everyone was there even after the event was supposed to be finished (usually people leave early)! This was such a well put together event, and the venue was clean and impressive, with lovely views of LA! 10/10

This review is only for the Holly jolly bar...not regular E.P. and L.P. Rooftop. Ok....so, you make a reservation that's for 90 minutes. Fine, we could deal with that. We arrive festively dressed in Santa attire, and I'm expecting a little more excitement and jolliness, but, it wasn't here. The only thing making this a Xmas pop up was the drink menu. There were no Santa pics no Photo Booth, no extras. Plus, you're stuck to your table ordering drinks, not exactly a festive time. I was hoping it would be less structured and more in the spirit of mingling. We went to one in Seattle last year, and it was just open as a Xmas bar with special drinks and decor. It's pretty boring sitting at your table paying about $26 for a drink that has some holiday theme to it. Service was slow and there were 2 drinks out of 10 that were not available at all. The ones we did order were just ok. Pretty disappointed in this pop up overall. Don't waste your time, find somewhere else!

I came back for the second year of the Holly Jolly pop up bar. This was a whole different experience and I will list the pros and cons. Pros: New drinks to try and the first drink is included. You can choose any drink this year unlike last year when you had to pick between two. Cons: Reservations are only 90 minutes. $60+ for only 90 minutes is a little crazy. Also the service was super slow. A mix between slow service and being there for only 90 minutes was really unfortunate. In addition, the drinks were a lot better last year.

We made reservations a month in advance to go to the Holly Jolly Bar. We ordered the drummer boy, tis the season, shots of baby guinness and apply joy, steaks and frites. The drinks were pretty good and loved the Christmas theme of all the drinks. I thought the food was okay though. The bar was so cute and they really decorated the place so well. It was the perfect date night!!
