Very good value for the price! And the food was delicious. Loved the mac n cheese. Highly recommend.

The staff here are downright rude, and the vibe is completely unwelcoming. Do NOT waste your time or money. It's pathetic because it's one of the only burger/American-style spots in the area, but they fail miserably at delivering a decent experience.To make it worse, I'm almost certain they're homophobic. Every time I've been here, they've treated me and my friends like an inconvenience and an afterthought. It's disgusting behavior.Save yourself the frustration--stay far away from this place.

We have been coming here fairly regularly for almost two years and sadly it has been going progressively (and recently, aggressively) downhill.The food quality has gotten worse and menu items are never consistent - prices, portions, quality...you never know what you'll get.The owners are clearly trying to cut corners - it shows. From the quality of the food, to the fact that, for example, they now dole out ketchup for the fries in cheap little plastic thimble sized cups, fewer menu items, and so on.They used to have a great happy hour and happy hour menu, but the selection has gone down while prices go (way) up, and what used to be 4-7pm got gradually cut back to 3-5pm, then recently cut to literally only one hour (4-5pm) only 3 days of the week! (wed - fri ). It makes what used to be a great little neighborhood joint something people now clearly avoid. It is consistently less busy. While the ambiance is nothing to write home about, I will say the service is generally quite good.We had been coming back habitually as it was a great little neighborhood spot, but have started ruling it out completely.Hoping maybe it'll get new owners or something to breathe life back into the place.

I used to love coming here. It was always a great vibe with interesting people. It was always full of friendly staff and guests. I'm not sure what's changed, but:The past couple of times I've gone to Electric Owl, it's been pretty much empty & dead. Im wondering if it changed ownership or management. The staff seemed grumpy and unwelcoming. The bartender was very low energy & rude to my guest, arrogant behavior, which definitely left me not wanting to leave any tip. I did tip, but I kind of wish I hadn't. The menu has also changed, and not for the better. I left feeling like I never wanted to return. Too bad... it used to be such a fun spot

Came in on a whim on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised there was happy hour! However, one off putting thing right away is that not too long after getting seated at our table, someone came up to us and commanded me to take my water bottle off the table. This dampened the experience from that point on especially when I saw that a woman at another table had a water bottle on her table and was not told the same thing. Food was decent and hit the spot for what we wanted. Just wish service was a bit better.

My friends and I arrived on a Friday evening around 7PM. There was no wait time and we were seated rather quickly. We came to try the espresso martini with the ice cream and it did not disappoint. We were not wowed by the food. We ordered a pizza, the spicy vodka pasta, and the caramelized brussels sprouts. The brussels sprouts were the best dish and the rest of the food was mediocre. The service was great, the parking was plenty.

Great drinks! The espresso martini is fantastic. The bartender Raul is great. What I don't care for is this restaurant is it changes it's hours as well as menu and prices what feels like twice a month. It's such a great spot. I'd hate for them to go out of business making extreme choices. The food is good but they have been messing with the menu lately and I'm not the biggest fan. I'll always return. It's a neighborhood staple for me. I hope they figure out the right menus and hours.

Location 3: In the heart of Hollywood, CA, in a crowded semi-residential area. The restaurant has no parking of its own and no Valet. There is a city-owned metered row of parking spots in the alley next to the restaurant that is full often.Venue 4: Nice modern, upscale and inviting exterior and dining area made out of train cars. Also, some outdoor seating and a large bar area.Service 5: Our server was excellent. He was polite, friendly, attentive and helpful.Food 5: Wonderful selection of appetizers, sandwiches, entrees and desserts. We had the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza, The Burger, Spicy Vodka Shrimp Rig and the Pomodoro and Burrata Pasta. All were super good! Unfortunately, we had no room left to try any of the desserts, but the list looked good! Hopefully next time.Drinks 5: Great list of specialty cocktails, beer and wine. We only tried the wine this time, which was quite good. Next time will be trying the specialty cocktails!The Last Word 5: Excellent food, drinks and service! Not too fond of the parking situation but compared to all the positives, parking is a non-issue. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

I had emailed previously in regards to the size of my group 22 and I was told we would have the communal area and additional seating by the bar in the end all we had was a table for 12 and when some of us went to sit by the bar the waiter told us we couldn't "congregate" around the bar?!?! When the time came to eat and I explained to the waiter where and how would we sit everyone else we were given a booth for the remaining people to sit and eat so that was a plus but wish they could have accommodated us better or at least have communicated better with the staff there and not had us moved from the bar

Hey, I used to love this place. Cool vibe in the neighborhood. But to be honest, please stop changing your menu so often because it could be a great spot for both local locals and tourists. It doesn't feel reliable in terms of hours or food, let alone when servers and management seems like it's constantly changing. :/So much potential that's untapped
