Generally, I am pretty picky with mexican food but El Patroncito did not disappoint. The portion are huge for every plate of food and good flavor and well balanced in all of the dishes. I love the little mexican flag they put on every single dish as well. Highly recommend to try it out if you are ever in the area.

Best Huevos Rancheros Ever!Yesterday, while working in downtown Los Angeles, my wife and I decided to try El Patroncito for breakfast since it was just a block away. I ordered the huevos rancheros, and let me tell you, they were phenomenal! The presentation of the dish was perfect, and the flavors were out of this world. I've lived in the US for over 30 years and have never had huevos rancheros like the ones here. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by El Patroncito - it was one of the best breakfast experiences I've ever had!

Wasn't bad wasn't great. They don't serve alcohol, just FYI. We went for lunch while on vacation. Disappointed by shrimp cocktail, whole huge pieces of shrimp, served luke warm with traditional chopped veggies and VERY sweet red tomato sauce and traditional veggies. Skip it. Also the service was bad. I know they are short staffed but we waited 30 minutes, got our appetizer (shrimp cocktail at the same time as the meal). There were 2 other people in the resteraunt. She came took out order and came back with all the food at once. Never checked on us. Chicken enchiladas (green) were tasty. Rice and beans were average. Also it does get extremely hot in the place.

Amazing restaurant. Very friendly staff We are in town for 1 month at time and eat here every day. All good here is incredible. I have had everything. My favorite is the bacon breakfast burrito with over easy egg with green salsa. Highly recomend.

This was the first time I had a burrito mojado con mole and wow was it amazing. Super filling and the perfect lunch, less than 2 blocks from the convention center. Very friendly service aw well, on top of the delicious food.
