Earle's On Crenshaw

An institution. Went in and immediately saw they were playing Buck and the Preacher (1972), one of my favorite Westerns. Earle is a real one lol. Chili Cheese Fries were so flavorful and meaty. It might look small but it was HEAVY. Must try. Turkey Dog had everything which gave it a sweeter flavor. Grilled onions and relish are my thing so this is definitely for you if you like them as well! The Beef Patty is always so flaky and buttery. The minced meat has no nasty low quality ground beef vibe to it. Real meat not cartilage or other crap. Despite how heavy the meal was I felt damn good after. Next time I'll stick around and watch the whole movie with the staff lol.

Great place to get some good hot dogs with chili. Beef link sliced in the half and a great amount of chili and cheese put on. 1 hot dog will fill you up for sure. Fries are good.Service is awesome and friendly. Plenty outside seating, parking, inside seating.

Earles isn't a 'we-do-it-all' type of restaurant. They know what they do and do it very well, while serving a few extra items-burgers and tacos. They also have items from other vendors like bean pie (delicious) and different sweets.I got the chili cheese and a veggie hotdog. The fries are perfectly warm, as is everything else, and they melt in your mouth. Same with the veggie dog and bun. While the container of fries may look small, it's packed! There's a good amount of stuff in there.It's not a lot of space to dine inside but there is bar stool type seating for about 5-8 people inside, with maybe 4-6 tables outside for dining with more people. It doesn't have the biggest parking lot but it's always enough parking spots available when I visit and they're not at all far away.

I'm back at Earl's with an updated review. Came in here after a good long swim down the street at Celeste King Pool with a monster appetite and decided on two beef chili dogs with raw onions &, chili and cheese on the side without the bread. I was greeted by Alexandria and she was pleasant and took my order. A bit later a young lady came over (unfortunately she may have gone on break before I got her name) and told me how to order my dish keto style a certain way to be a little more efficient and save a few bucks! Shortly thereafter, a gentleman who might be the manager named Aldo chipped in with some great advice as well. Now that's what I call super customer service. I have to say that Earl's probably does a ton of business, but with so many people getting out of the pool so doggone hungry down the street from here, I can see where a small advertising sign hanging anywhere near the lap pool swimmers would drive a ton more people here. Hey, it's just a thought. And the greatest treat of all was being able to take a picture of the queen herself, "Mama Earl", the mother of the namesake of the place, Earl himself. As many people who come here consistently can attest, having a few minutes to chop it up with Mama Earl makes the entire experience that much better.

Do it for the Experience! The food is great! The ambience is what makes the visit that much better. i personal was attended by Mr. Earle himself who really knows how to connect with his customers.Enjoy the experience, the health "guilt" and the delicious sinful food. Order the coffee cake to really make it a "felony meal".

Always a go-to. A neighborhood staple. Black-owned and a vibe. Earle is always in and working which is a warm welcome. He remembers his customers and caters to each one. My frequent orders are the Jamaican veggie patties and the salmon burger ordered Earle's way. The turkey burger with almost everything including chipotle mayo and grilled onions is so good. I love that everything is still relatively healthy/not greasy. Recently tried the vegan salad which was really good, paired with a piece of salmon or white fish at home and a whole meal is set.

This place was such a gem. Found on instagram and made almost an hour drive. Was not disappointed. The food was amazing and the service was beyond excellent. Will be coming back for more.

Fiiiiirrreeee hotdogs!!! They were so good, the bread was perfect too. I live in Culver City and drove home in traffic and it was still so good! His wife was super friendly too I came in with my daughters and she gave them books to read and crayons ! Sweet woman love this establishment

So Earle's on Crenshaw is a neighborhood favorite of mine. I normally would advise for vegan options, but i actually prefer their meat options here. If you get something, I suggest you get the salmon burger and order it Earle's way to keep it simple. Staff here is professional. Normally you never hear of a place with a good salmon burger, but this place hits! If you want to get something extra special and secretive ask about the "killer whale". it's not on the menu but they know exactly what to make. Overall, the place is in a great location, considering that you're in crenshaw square, you have the community around you. they're always blasting great house music and if you eat outside, you'll see some fixed up classic cars nearby. I come here with my pet sometimes and they will give her water outside on the patio. The owners are always extremely attentive to their customers. I do feel a bit bad for their busy times, but you will see them rush to the line to get your order in the queue asap, for a speedy meal. Staff here will remembers your name or your face. It's a lot of good vibes there when dining. Other food options i like are their chili cheese fries (but they also carry vegan option), The jamaican patties are also delicious, a bit pricy, but good. And lastly, the pies on the counter are amazing. I'm not a fan of the vegan hot dogs, i have mixed feelings on the spices in the hot dogs and texture, but i haven't tried all of them yet. If you're looking for wallet friendly options, they also have turkey dogs tuesday i believe. i've yet to try their smoothies, but they look good too and just started serving them.Come to earle's on crenshaw! get a salmon burger or killer whale.

Enjoying a quick dinner during my shift tonight. If you have not been to Earle's yet, you are missing out. They have the nicest staff, greatest hot dogs, plus more.
