Eagle Rock Green Dragon

Stopped by for a quite lunch before picking up my daughter from school. Unfortunately there is no dine in option at the moment - TAKEOUT ONLY. I was already there, so I ordered a couple things to try. TIP: LUNCH SPECIAL from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm is : $13 /WEEKDAYS Only. In short their food is VERY good that I returned later that evening to order dinner for the family. We shared: -Kung Pao Chicken: Tender and flavorful all white meat chicken balanced flavors meaning not too sweet; just right. Generous portions of chicken no heavy fillers. -Orange Chicken: Excellent! I don't even like orange chicken! Tender pieces of white meat chicken and crisp batter. The sauce is flavorful and again not too sweet.- War Wonton Soup: Made with chicken broth and white meat chicken wontons; great alternative for people that don't eat pork. -Green Beans n Pork: Delicious! Light Wok Hei, tender pork slices, green beans had a nice bite - not mushy. Garlicky good! - Black Bean Fish Filet: Tender and Fresh! Nice flavors mixed in with bell peppers, onions, sauce.-Chicken Lomein: Full of chicken and noodles are not bland. No additional soy sauce needed. No wok hei, but it's fine. Kids liked this dish. A solid Chinese-American restaurant loved by locals.. the phone rings off the hook non-stop, lol! No worries, the food miraculously comes out quickly (20 mins); Superman must be in the kitchen! Great owners! Chinese food made by Chinese chef. Love it here! Payment: Cash, Credit (Amex accepted), Apple Pay.

Not too good. Pleasant rapid service and quick preparation of my imitation chicken with vegetables in brown sauce and a side of brown rice. The imitation tofu chicken had zero flavor and the texture of sun burnt rubber upholstery foam. It was god awful.

Food is always good and has been for years. Sadly, their dining area rremains closed and is unlikely to ever reopen. So service wise it's limited to over the phone and across the counter. There really isn't any ambience to speak of. One thing we found on a couple of occasions was the bottom of the aluminum to go containers were being pushed in, concave, lessening the portions purchased, it's happened several times so It's apparently a cost saving move on their part. They are also a bit cheap on condiments and chopsticks, frustrating if one forgets to ask for what should be expected. Food is still good.

Great Chinese food real authentic Chinese food. owners are super kind and will even dial up and down the spiciness. I think they have been just take out for awhile and they know how to pack it. My most fav green beans are here.

Solid Chinese takeout spot in Eagle Rock. Small parking lot, sometimes hard to find parking during peak hours. Phone ordering only (no ability to order on their own website). Everything is tasty that we have tried: orange chicken, Kung Pao chicken/tofu, Mongolian beef, Singapore noodles, etc. Accepts credit card. Food ready in about 20 mins. I recommend!

Located in a structure with horrible parking I lucked out and found a spot. Got take out and was able to eat it because they are capable of cooking their dishes gluten free. I'm intolerant, I'm not Celiac however the last time I had Chinese several years ago I was poisoned. We ordered Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Egg Drop Soup and a noodle dish they recommended. It was all very good. The service was friendly, and the staff knowledgeable about the food they were serving. The ambience is a non issue as they only do take out.

A staple of Eagle Rock since the 90s, Green Dragon delivers on a solid Chinese menu with Cantonese and Szechuan selections. During covid, the restaurant transformed to takeout only. Reliable, consistent and friendly service.

I've only ordered delivery from here. It's so good! Everything is fresh and flavorful. I've been looking for a neighborhood Chinese spot for years and have been disappointed over and over by bland, greasy, stale tasting places. I'm so happy to have found green dragon just one town over. My fave on their menu is the tomato and eggs. So comforting and packed with good flavor. The fried rice options are good, and the orange peel chicken will definitely be ordered again.

this place is still my go to for yummy comfort chinese food.their dining area has been closed for a while now(since covid) but the food is still so good! they also still offer lunch specials which is a steal imo.i love that this is a family owned business and everyone is always so nice and polite.i recommend you call in your order for pick up. they also offer delivery!

Only tried Green Dragon a few times before Covid and food was good.Now after Covid I truly appreciate the flavor and quality of their food.The food has only gotten better.Good pricing and friendly service.Mushroom chicken, shrimp appetizer is always on pointWill definitely be back.
