Dulan's Soul Food Kitchen

The savory food was absolutely incredibly delicious. I did a large catering order with them for about 200 people and the process was easy and the delivery was smooth. Everyone raved about how good the food was. The veggie sides especially were fantastic and oxtails and fried chicken so tasty too. Peach cobbler was beautiful but more of a pie with crust under and on top. It was too sweet and runny for my liking. I cannot speak to the ambience of the actual restaurant as I did not dine in, oh me did the large delivery order. The food was very very good and they gladly accommodated our allergen an ingredient requests.

I ordered delivery that consisted of two lunch plates:*Fried chicken - mixed, received one wing & one breast, red beans & rice, greens with cabbage *Oxtails with Mac n cheese and dressing (w. no gravy)** both came with two cornbreads.This was my first time and it will not be my last! EVERYTHING was delicious. Very flavorful with good portions. This is one of the few times I actually enjoyed the Mac n cheese and cornbread from an establishment!The red beans and rice tasted like chili lol, but it was good and I wasn't mad at it! The only thing I didn't like was the cornbread dressing because it was so wet and mushy! The flavor was there but I couldn't eat it unfortunately. Also, the liquid from the greens and cabbage was ALL OVER the plate so my friend chicken was soggy on some parts. I know I ordered this combo, but I wish it was packed a better way do avoid the liquid spillage. Random, but I like how the food was delivered in a completely sealed bag that was perforated to open. I'll be back again and have already told my out of town family about it.

One of the standout offerings is the Cornbread, which is not only my favorite but also incredibly affordable. I often get a lunch or dinner, enjoy a hearty serving, and then take the leftovers home for another meal. It's an ideal choice for takeout! Just today, I savored a delightful vegetable dinner featuring green beans, corn & okra, collard greens, and creamy mashed potatoes with gravy. Every bite was simply heavenly. While the prices lean towards the higher side, the lively urban atmosphere--with outdoor seating and an indoor dining area--completes the experience perfectly. BEST SOUL FOOD IN LA! It was my first time and I ordered the fried chicken, mac b cheese, collard greens, yams and corn bread. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Generous portions and top notch customer service. Parking was easy to find and they have a separate area outside for pick up. If you're from the south like me, you have to give them a try. You wont be disappointed!

I really enjoy the smothered chicken from Dulan's Restaurant. The mac & cheese is deliciously cheesy, though it's not an oven-baked style--more cheesy. The cabbage is lightly seasoned, which I appreciate, and pairs well with the chicken that comes with rice. I got takeout and found it perfect for enjoying outdoors, making it a great option for a casual family or friends' outing. The wait time on a busy day is about 15-20mins. Beyond the food, Dulan's Restaurant is truly a community staple. It's a family-owned business that invests back into the community by supporting local schools, hiring locally, and catering to various organizations and companies in the area. I highly recommend trying their food and supporting a place that consistently serves good meals while giving back.

OH MY GAD!!! Is all I have to say.... The food is BOMB! You can either order to go at the walk up window or dine in!! Nothing negative to say about Dulan's!!! Portions are more than enough you will not go home hungry and we will definitely have take home food!! I highly suggest you order the lunch special it comes with the main dishes, 2 sides and 2 cornbreads!! We ordered: Fried fish, rice and greens beans/carrots. Words do don't express the flavors throughout the dish. Oxtail, rice/gravy & collard greens. My bf said it definitely didn't disappoint.Smothered chicken, mac & cheese, candy yams. Another satisfied customer!!! Seriously you cannot go wrong with anything you order!!! 1000% must try while your in the Los Angeles area!! Enjoy your experience!!

Dulan's has been in the soul food game forever! This LA Soul King has been operating his good eats since 2001 when we were all listening to Bootylicious, Get Ur Freak On and Hit Em Up Style, iykyk.You can sit in the restaurant or you can grab your eats and go. They even have pre-ordering so everything is set and ready when you pick it up.Fried chicken is plump & juicy with good seasoning, the stuffing may not look pretty but it sure tastes pretty and the cornbread is satisfying. Star of the show for me though: Mac and Cheese. Mac & cheese is one of my essential food groups so I consider myself an aficionado. And I do declare, this some good ish!!! And the portions are huge. Insanely huge.I'll definitely be back. Their smothered chicken is the stuff of legends I hear so I need to get that on my next visit. For my fellow LA Rams fans (fine, chargers, too), Dulan's is an amazing locally owned spot to pop by for some pre or post game eats. It's close and delish! Plus, I saw them on Good Day LA last week---they just got their liquor license!

Good customer service and good soul food. Got fried chicken with Mac greens and yams. I liked everything but I wish the fried chicken was fresher and crunchier. You can tell it was left out for a little bit and it was losing its crunch. I also thought the mac and cheese had a strange taste. Overall the meal was good

I visited this location for the first and THEE last time this evening. Looking for comfort food during a horrible storm and decided to give this local eatery a try. I should've passed it up. Smothered chicken (specifically requested white meat and got a thigh with 2 small legs), Mac/cheese, green beans, cabbage and black eyed peas. I'm sad to report, the only item that my family enjoyed was the cornbread muffin. The Mac/cheese was a weird bright orange color with an even stranger taste and a very mushy consistency. The other side dishes were mediocre at best, lacking in flavor and heavy on the sugar! Cabbage and string beans were oddly sweet. I thought this place was an Inglewood favorite, can't understand why.

Today I went for Lunch the Cat Fish was dry and Hard, the short Ribs Lunch was Cut thin Beef Short Ribs, a lot of Gravy, Greens were tasteless to say the least, Red Beans No!! Good 52.00 Bucks Never again !!!
