Oct '25 / Jan '25 -- REX was AMAZING! I went back to Drake's not just because the food was good, but because Rex's service was remarkable and memorable.Celebrated my birthday here last October and everything we ordered was by recommendation and we ordered as much as we possibly could. Favorite was the pasta Zaza (a popular hack is to add the honey chicken on top however I like it better without). The chocolate mousse cake has a beautiful melt in your mouth texture with a perfect crunch that's SO worth a trip for!We also tried the Vin Scully fries, Caesar salad, salmon sushi, and an off-menu strawberry lemon drop martini. On my second visit, we tried white fish piccata and the Shep's Hawaiian ribeye (which had a great and unique flavor but was such a fatty cut). I recommend just about everything I've had so far.Restaurant gets EXTREMELY loud with chatter and background music. It's actually difficult to hear your dinner mate so I wouldn't recommend a first date here. Lighting is very dim and wall art is really cool. Valet is the best option in this corridor.

The ambiance is very moody and has good music. The service is amazing everyone was nice and helpful. The food was average, for the price point I was expecting better. The fries are amazing, the pasta is very good as well. The steak was very mid. Overall not a bad experience.

My first time at Drake's Hollywood and I can't wait to go back. The atmosphere reminds me of old Hollywood and the food options are amazing! The service and staff were fantastic - the cocktails were excellent! We had ourselves the Mexican, the spicy Mexican (Margaritas) and an old-fashioned. Perfect for celebrating the holidays. We had reservations for a Sunday night with friends, we shared : Za Za Pasta & Steak Pizza (a must) along with loaded, mashed potatoes, raccoons, and our surprise, favorite, the Scully loaded fries. Think Jack-in-the-Box but more elevated. Sooooo good! If you're wondering about the dress code, they allow smart, casual, hats, and beanies (think steak house attire but much more lenient). Pro tip: they offer valet, but if you're looking to save a few bucks, there's plenty of street parking around. Also, if you have the room for it, go for the 24 layer strawberry shortcake. We were so full, but it looked amazing and can't wait to try for our next visit.

Drake's is definitely a lively spot, blending a restaurant and lounge with classic LA vibes and a stylish ambiance. It's the place to be if you're looking for a fun night out. While valet parking is a bit steep at $20, there's plenty of street parking nearby, so it's not hard to find a spot. The food options for vegetarians are limited, but the drink menu more than makes up for it, offering some fantastic cocktails. Whether you're here for drinks or to soak in the vibrant atmosphere, Drakes is a great spot for a night out.

Went to grab some drinks and got some dessert. I really place is a vibe, the espresso martinis were soooo good!! Since I didn't dine in and get actual food I can't say what that's like but the service was good. The cake was sooooo good! If you've had the 21 layer cake at Lavo similar concept but strawberry shortcake!

Drake's is located in LA.Valet is $20 but there is some street parking, however, its LA so its limited. The ambiance is sexy, dimly lit and makes for a great date night. Its more on the romantic side so more quiet, no loud music bumping, where it can take away from an intimate conversation. The restaurant itself is beautiful and gives off a 1920s vibe with the bar in the middle.Food was absolutely delicious here. I thought it would be mid with it being LA but I was pleasantly surprised. I recommend starting with the Vin Scully fries ($25) they were so good. The sauce drizzled all over the fires with bacon was delectable and a good size portion! I decided to go with the Hot honey chicken ($43) and it was very crisp with honey drizzled all over. I thought the spinach and mashed potatoes were fantastic sides. My hubby ordered the rigatoni and added the chicken to it which he raved about. The drinks are on the pricier end $21 and up but very creative and pack a strong punch. I loved the mexican cocktail and the spicy mexican. Recommend! Otherwise, our server was Nick who had great recommendations and was 5 stars all around. Service was attentive and quick. We will be back for another date night!

We came to Drakes on a Sunday evening for dinner. The place is SO adorable. I love the comfy yet cute seating. The staff were also the kindest people ever. We had the sweetest waitress that night! We got multiple drinks and all of them were with a decent poor of alcohol. As far as the food- I am not an Italian foody, but it was phenomenal!! The Ozzy pizza was my favorite. Such an interesting combination of flavors that just worked! Other dishes included the pasta Za Za so tasty and the Cesar salad- basic yet good! The buffalo cauliflower was also a tasty treat. Overall, comfy cute place with tasty food! Definitely will be making my way back here!

Came here for a birthday dinner on a Sunday around 8pm . Unfortunately I wanted to like this place but the service did not stand up to the hype . The server mentioned she was on the floor alone so we stayed patient but we couldn't even get water refills (busser was just floating around) couldn't get a 2nd or 3rd rounds of drinks bc the server was so behind . It was kind of weird she was so busy but they had 4 people behind the bar just leaning . Like help the girl out , she's obviously in the weeds . So didn't look like much team work . Ambiance was cute but kind of temu of a cool old Italian place

Went here on 1/1/25 Not the most welcoming place, the food took a while but wasn't hot when it came out, if this place was more welcoming to the everyday person and brought hot food out it would be better . People like to feel welcome and met with kindness when dinning out. Cute place but not cute vibes.
