I got lucky and scored a reservation after several days of setting an alarm for 10 am, when the reservation times open on Resy. We arrived right on time for our reservation at 5:15 pm on a Sunday night in September. There was already a long line going out the door when we arrived, but we told the staff that we had a reservation and were seated immediately. There is a lot of residential street parking in the area, but no valet. Our server brought us waters and menus immediately after we arrived. She was friendly and gave us great recommendations. The vibe in here is intimate and trendy. They have two rooms with different decor, and I liked the look of the back room a bit more, but we got seated in the front. We shared five savory dishes between us, including the Caesar salad, broccolini, calamari, lasagna rollatini, and spicy vodka fusilli. Everything we had was delicious and flavorsome. The food definitely reminded me of traditional Italian restaurants in NYC, and was somewhat heavy. We really enjoyed our experience here and look forward to coming back.

Food: 7/10Service: 10/10Ambiance: 7.5/10The garlic bread, bolognese, & campanelle were all pretty good! Honestly, i was expecting to be amazed given the reviews. I don't think it meets that hype... it was good, but nothing too special. We were lucky enough to walk in & be seated right away at the bar. The back room where the bar stands is super homey, dimly lit and cute but sooo tiny so you are squished intimately with others.Everyone we interacted with was very sweet and to the point.Parking was easy as there's a lot of neighborhood & street parking.I'm glad I had it, but I don't think I'd go out of my way to visit again compared to other italian spots that are easier to get in

All in all really solid pasta spot, although I'm not totally convinced it's worth the hype. Pasta textures all around were on point. The garlic bread was delicious and buttery, served pretty much right away at the moment we ordered it. We also ordered the mushroom Arancini, which was super cheesy. Once it got to our pastas, though, they were both super, super salty to the point where it burns your mouth. I'm not sure whether the kitchen forgot that they seasoned the pasta already and then double seasoned the mushrooms or what, but that was simply not edible and we left our portions unfinished. The other pasta we had was the fusilli alla vodka which was generally pretty delicious, but not something that blew my socks off in a sentence that I am craving to go back for more. I wouldn't be opposed to coming back here if friends wanted to, but not sure that I will come back here on my own accord unless the menu drastically changes.

It was my first time here so our server kindly explained the menu to us and was super nice and helpful! The space is small but nonetheless the ambiance was nice with dark lighting. Now let's talk about the food... it was AMAZING! We ordered calamari and a Cesar salad as appetizers and for the entrees we ordered chicken Parmesan and the vodka pasta.Calamari- 7.9 (it was a bit too salty even with lemon added)Salad- 8.7 (could use a bit less dressy, but still very good)Chicken Parmesan- 9.1 (some of the best I've had)Vodka pasta- 8.9 (would recommend!)

I had made reservations for this week, however, due to the holiday, I was able to get in on Monday. We ordered the mushroom arancini which was excellent. The garlic bread was good too. The chopped salad was okay. The fettuccine bolognese was excellent. The spaghetti and meatballs could've used more sauce. Overall, it was okay. I don't think it's worth the hype in my opinion.

I have been waiting a very long time to get a reasonably timed reservation to Donna's and it did not disappoint. I got a reservation for two at 8:30pm on a Sunday to celebrate an anniversary, and we even got in around 7:45 because of a cancelled reservation. This place is a 5-star establishment. That starts with the service. Even though it is a small place, the service was absolutely phenomenal with me never having to ask for a single thing. Then to the ambiance: it was fancy old school Italian. A very small place with 10-15 tables max with very dim lighting that made it an intimate experience. Last but certainly not least: the food and drink. Even for a fancy place, VERY reasonably priced. The garlic bread was nothing short of amazing... so tender. The alla vodka pasta was sensational. Noodles were cooked a little more than I like and it was a bit too salty, but so good. The chicken Parmesan was excellent. Wish it had a little more sauce as it was so good and wish it had pasta under it but still amazing. The drinks were top tier and the grooved ice in my drink was a nice touch. To top it off, they gave us anniversary cannolis on the house. Every detail was right here and I cannot wait to come back.

Fantastic! Small cute space with cozy romantic aesthetic. They do take walks in BUT best to book a reservation. Our server was super nice and gave great recommendations , it felt like we were having dinner at a friend/family's place. For drinks, we tried:Old FashionedCaffe MartiniCherry CherryDirty DonnaThe Caffe Martini was delicious with the addition of honey and the olives on the Dirty Donna are soaked in the pickles giardiniera juice which has a spicy kick.Must Order App:MUSHROOM ARANCINI - mixed mushrooms, smoked mozz, parmesan fonduta.10/10 - so cheesy and all the umami from mushrooms plus setting on a creamy cheesy bed of Parmesan cream. OMG too good!!!For our mains we ordered:FUSILLI ALLA VODKA - whipped ricotta, chili oil, pecorino romanoLASAGNA ROLLATINI - bolognese, parmesan fonduta, pomodoroThe fusilli was Al dente with a nice chew and the vodka sauce hit the mark. The lasagna was meaty and I liked the rollatini- made it easy to share and I like the crispy pasta edges. They also have a jar of ground Calabrian chilies which goes well with the pastas and packs some fresh heat.Lastly, and surprisingly still had some room in my stomach somewhere... DESSERTSCANNOLIS- (trio) fior di latte, hazelnut torrone, and chocolateTUSCAN CARROT CAKE - almond carrot torte, orange mascarponeI've never really been a fan of cannolis but clearly I had some bad ones in my life because these were good! The cream inside was light and fresh and bomb. The carrot cake was also unique, not too sweet and I like the almond take on it. Got to try some limoncello on the way out too.Compliments to the chef!

Oh my gosh this place is amazing. I have wanted to try this place for a while, and I'm so excited I finally did. Firstly, the ambiance is beautiful. It reminds me of a cute NYC Italian restaurant - so chic. We started with the garlic bread, which was honestly to die for. Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and very garlicky on the inside. I next had the spicy vodka pasta, which honestly rivaled Carbone and all the other famous vodka pastas. I truly would come back just for a bowl of this because WOW. We finished off with a slice of tiramisu which was delightful and very tasty and creamy. 10/10 would recommend, I am obsessed with this spot, you must go!

I finally understand the hype behind this restaurant and after countless times of failing to get a reservation via Resy, I was finally able to get a last second spot and have one of the best Italian dinners so far.Went on a Sunday night for dinner and the place was busy and really enjoyed my time while I was here. Ambiance of the place is very dark and dimly lit which makes it more intimate. Got an appetizer to start off and our server explained everything really well and recommended great food items to get! Recommended items:-shrimp scampi 8/10 (very flavorful and a bit on the salty side)-chicken parmesan 10/10 (so juicy and the sauce is soo good)-fusilli alla vodka 10/10 (perfect texture and perfect balance of the sauce and noodles)-carrot cake 10/10 (just wow. so moist and delicious)No valet parking. Just street parking. Id recommend ubering. Helps to get a reservation beforehand.

I have been here 3 times and the pasta and garlic bread are delicious!!! Unfortunately every time I've come, I have ordered wine and got sick. I just came to the conclusion after getting sick each time that it was the wine causing this. It's very flat and just overall is not good. The food is so good though so I would come back again and not order wine
