I've ordered delivery from Dim Sum House multiple times, and every single time, it's been stellar! Their salt and pepper tofu is hands-down my favorite in LA--and I've tried versions from all over the city and valley. It's consistently perfect: crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, salty but never overly so. It hits that ideal balance of crunch and flavor every time. And don't sleep on the scallion pancakes! Chewy, crispy, and packed with flavor--exactly how they should be.Honestly, I can't speak to the rest of the menu since I keep coming back for these two favorites, but if you're a fan of salt and pepper tofu or scallion pancakes, this spot is a must. I only wish they were closer to me!Highly recommend.

After a minor surgery at UCLA, I decided to treat myself for dim sum. First the atmosphere is purely functional. But the food is superb. Dim Sum dishes like Shu Mai and Har Gow are huge. The spicy chicken dumplings are my favorite. Shrimp and Spinach dumplings, turnip cakes and the Fried Chicken patties are fantastic. Sometimes, there's only one server so service can be a little chaotic but well worth it.

Came here for LNY with some co-workers. We made a reservation and were glad we did because the wait was fairly long at 7 pm! Parking was nearly full as well. Even after we were seated, it took almost another hour to order and get our food. We were pleasantly surprised that the food was even better than expected, especially given how busy they were. The workers were so nice but visibly short-staffed. We were super happy to be here at a more mom and pop shop style dim sum restaurant.

Great Food, Decent Prices!I've never had a dine in experience here, only takeout. The first time I tried this place was on Christmas Day. Unsurprisingly, it was extremely crowded. Despite the hour long wait for takeout and being understaffed, the team was very friendly and polite. The food was excellent! We ordered:Orange chickenCombination noodlesSpicy chicken dumplingsCrispy shrimp ballsBaked bbq pork bunsEverything was delicious! My personal favorite was the spicy chicken dumplings, the filling was juicy and flavorful. The orange chicken is also a must try! It's not overly sweet and tastes like real, quality food. Plus, the portions are large! After Christmas, I kept craving the spicy chicken dumplings, so I had to go back. This time, I also tried the shrimp dumplings and combination fried rice. Both the combination fried rice and noodles came with a generous amount of protein, making them a satisfying meal on their own.The ambiance is simple, but that's totally fine. I also appreciate that they use good quality chopsticks! If you're in the area, definitely give this place a shot.

The dim sum here is just ok and closer to 2.5/5. The best things were the spare ribs and baked bbq pork bun, everything else was either too soft/over steamed or lacking flavor. We called in an order at 9:10 AM and the food was not ready until 9:55 AM but the estimate they gave us was 20-25 minutes.Additionally they didn't give us any sauces, chili oil, or sweet soy (usually given with the rice rolls), or sweet and sour sauce togo, we had to ask after checking the food. The store itself looked very big, but with only 1-2 small groups seated I was surprised the togo order ended up taking so much longer than estimated. The quality of food did not seem worth the price, but if you're desperate for an early dim sum meal this may be a consideration!

food and service was wonderful and reasonably priced. DONT CHANGE ANYTHING!We had about seven dishes and my favorite was the he "hot and sour soup". it is the best in the Westside. We had some dim sum dishes and some dinner menu items. the fish fillet was perfect as was the noodle dish (pan fried noodles under a medley shrimp, beef, chicken and vegetables). i am coming back for the same good food and service. this is a gem in the Westside. thank you GP Lin
